Carton and blank for carton
The present invention provides a carton for a bag in box packaging. The carton has the overall configuration of a rectangular parallelepiped, with two pairs of opposing sidewalls and an upper end portion and a lower end portion, together defining a cavity for receiving a liquid holding bag. In the lower end portion there are a first pair of opposing flaps and a second pair of opposing flaps. The carton further has an opening extending through one sidewall in the lower end portion for dispensing liquid from a bag positioned inside the cavity. According to the invention the first pair of opposing flaps are foldable into an open position, in which the flaps extend outwards from the cavity to form a pair of legs. The legs are interlockable with a flap of said second pair of flaps so as firmly to fix the position of the legs with regard to the carton. The leg-forming flaps support the carton in an elevated position with respect to a surface thus facilitating dispension of liquid through the opening.
BAG IN BOX CONNECTOR VALVE
The present application provides a bag in box connection valve for a pouch spout connected to a flexible pouch of a bag in box. The bag in box connection valve may include a ratchet body with a pair of ratchet teeth lines, a quick disconnect ratchet coupling with a spout opening, and a pair of ratchet arms with a pair of ratchet arm teeth lines. The pair of ratchet teeth line and the pair of ratchet arm teeth lines cooperate to raise and lower the ratchet body onto the pouch spout positioned within the spout opening.
Container and set of preforms for forming a container
Container of a bag-in-container type, wherein a neck region of the container is provided with at least one opening extending substantially radially there through, into a space between the outer container and an inner container adjacent thereto, wherein the neck region is provided with coupling elements, preferably at opposite sides of the at least one opening, seen in circumferential direction, for coupling of a connecting device to the container for introducing a pressure fluid through the at least one opening into a space between the inner and outer container.
Liquid dispensing containers and blanks for making the same
A container for dispensing beverages is provided. The container includes at least six side walls coupled together along a plurality of parallel fold lines. The at least six side walls include two end panels and at least two side panels, and the at least six side walls define a substantially cylindrical shape of the container. A bottom wall is coupled to at least one of the two end panels, wherein a shape of the bottom wall corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the at least six side walls. The container further includes a spout cutout removably defined in a first end panel of the two end panels proximate to a fold line connecting the first end panel to the bottom wall.
Caddies for boxed beverages, especially caddies for boxed wine products
A caddy, into which is received a boxed-wine product, displays the boxed-wine product and permits easy access to the on/off spigot of the boxed-wine product, while protecting furniture and flooring in a vicinity of the boxed-wine product from drippage, and also protecting a surface from being scratched by the boxed-wine product. An open, roofless caddy is especially provided.
FITMENT FOR DISPENSING FLUIDS FROM A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
This invention relates to a fitment assembly used for dispensing liquids from flexible bags. The connector engages a valved fitment for a container for holding and dispensing fluid. The fitment includes a spout connected to the container and a sliding internal valve body and an external valve body securely positioned within the spout. The connector has a fitment end mateable with the fitment so as to compress the top edge of the external valve body so as to form a seal between the external valve body and the dispensing connector. The external valve body through circumferentially placed apertures allows for substantially complete drainage of the flexible bag.
Liquid Dispensing Tap And Liquid Container Provided Therewith
Liquid dispensing tap 1 connectable to a liquid container 70, e.g. a bag in box, for controlled dispensing of a liquid therefrom. The tap comprises a housing 10 forming an inlet of the tap and comprising a dispensing chamber wall portion 13 delimiting a dispensing chamber 14 with a valve seat 16 at an axial end and forming a lateral dispensing outlet 17 in communication with the dispensing chamber 14. The tap 1 comprises a plunger 30 with a stem 31 and a valve portion 32, the stem having an actuator engagement portion 33 outside said dispensing chamber and extending along an axis 15 through a bore 18 in the dispensing chamber wall portion and through the dispensing chamber. The plunger moves axially between a closed and an open position. A manually operable plunger actuator 50 engages said engagement portion of the stem to open the tap.
System for the controlled tapping of liquids from containers
A system for the controlled tapping of liquid from a container where a main body is connected to a container using a connection flange. The mouth of the container is equipped with a first opening where at least one valve is interposed through the first opening. At least one tapping tap equipped with at least one connection is connected to the mouth. The mouth is integral with at least one closing plug of the opening. The plug has at least one opening next to the first opening when the plug is placed in a closed position. The mouth and the connection end to the tap can open the valve when the tap is connected to the mouth through the first and second openings to be able to move the contents of the inside of the container to the outside through the tap.
BOX WITH INNER BAG FOR LIQUID FOOD
A rigid box with a wall defining an inner chamber into which extends a flexible bag for a liquid or viscous food to be consumed in a suitable serving temperature range, whereby the flexible bag is associated with a part comprising a valve. The box is provided with passages suitable for the flow of an aqueous medium within the inner chamber outside the flexible bag so as to control the temperature of the food to be consumed.
Liquid Dispensing Tap And Liquid Container Provided With Said Tap
Liquid dispensing tap 1 connectable to a liquid container 70, e.g. a bag in box, for controlled dispensing of a liquid therefrom. The tap includes a housing 10 forming an inlet of the tap and including a dispensing chamber wall portion 13 delimiting a dispensing chamber 14 with a valve seat 15 at an axial end and forming a dispensing outlet 17 in communication with the dispensing chamber 14. The tap 1 includes a plunger 30 with a stem 31 and a valve portion 32. The stem having an actuator engagement portion 33 outside the dispensing chamber and extending along an axis 15 through a bore 18 in the dispensing chamber wall portion and throughout the dispensing chamber. The plunger moves axially between a closed and an open position. A manually operable plunger actuator 50 engages the engagement portion of the stem to open the tap.
