Grain tank with force assisting element for cover

An agricultural harvester includes a chassis and a grain tank carried by the chassis. The grain tank includes a frame having an opening formed therethrough; a pair of tank cover sections movably associated with the frame such that the tank cover sections can switch between an open position and a covering position relative to the opening of the frame; and at least one actuator linked to at least one of the tank cover sections and configured to selectively provide a switching force. The agricultural harvester further includes a force assistor or a brake linked to one of the pair of tank cover sections and configured to apply an assist force or a braking force, respectively, to one of the pair of tank cover sections but not the other of the pair of tank cover sections.

Thermal box and transport system

This disclosure relates to a system and method for insulating a mill product during a transporting and storing process. The system includes a platform, an insulated enclosure, and an actuator system. The platform is capable of supporting the insulated enclosure and the mill product. The insulated enclosure includes a first clamshell enclosure member and a second clamshell enclosure member supported on the platform. Each enclosure member has an open position and a closed position. When each enclosure member is in the open position, the mill product supported on the platform within the enclosure may be accessed. When each enclosure member is in the closed position, the mill product is thermally insulated within the enclosure. The actuator system can move the clamshell enclosures between their open and closed positions.

Secondary containment system for DEF storage container
09669991 · 2017-06-06 ·

A secondary containment system used to transport and store a tank containing fluid. The secondary containment system having a containment body comprising an end wall, a back wall, two side walls, a bottom, and a top, wherein the walls are integral to the bottom, and wherein the top can be displaced from the containment body. The containment body is constructed of a three-layer configuration comprising an inner layer, an outer layer, and a central layer sandwiched therebetween. The inner layer defines a chamber in which the tank containing the fluid is stored. The chamber is sized and shaped so that the tank is positioned in the chamber and defines a void between walls of the inner layer and the tank.

CONTAINER, CONTAINER CONSTRUCTION, HANDLING METHOD AND APPARATUS

The present invention provides a lid (400) for an open container (100, 13.10), a lid lifting system (13.100), a tippler (13.200) with the improved lid lifting system (13.100) and a method of lifting a container. The lid and lifting arrangement includes an apertured receiving formation (401) on an upper side of a lid (100) to receive a lift member (13.40). The lift member (13.40) can do one or more than one of the following: engaging the formation (401) will unlock a locking mechanism (13.42,458) holding the lid (400) to a container (100); or allow the lift member (13.40) to be rotated to thereby unlock the locking mechanism (13.42, 458) which locks the lid (400) to the container (100), while simultaneously locking the lift member (13.40, 458) to the lid (400). A lifting device which is able to perform such actions is also disclosed, and a method to operate the lifting device.

TARGETED PROTECTION ASSEMBLY
20170088343 · 2017-03-30 ·

A targeted protection assembly operable to protectively cover an item that is to be transported or stored. The targeted protection assembly includes a base and a cover delimiting an interior volume in which an item to be transported or stored can be disposed. The cover is at least partially configured with an inflatable portion in which an inflating medium can be disposed to expand the inflatable portion to, or maintain the inflatable portion at, an inflated disposition.

EQUIPMENT SHIPPING, STORAGE, AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SYSTEM
20170073111 · 2017-03-16 ·

An equipment shipping, storage, and maintenance support system that includes a cover assembly including a variety of features and a mobile maintenance platform (MMP) coupled to the cover assembly via a plurality of latches. The MMP includes retractable wheel assemblies which enable lateral movement on a support surface in proximity to an end item with an equipment item mounted thereon (e.g., an aircraft with an aircraft radar). The MMP includes a vertical lift system that attaches or detaches from the equipment item to raise or lower the equipment item during maintenance activities. The cover can be installed on the MMP to provide protection against external environment in a storage or transit/shipping modes. The MMP also includes removable jacks which enable raising or lower of the MMP either during maintenance to reorient the equipment item for maintenance or storage purposes to include mitigate of undesirable environmental impacts from storage.

Intermodal container, handling method and apparatus

A lifting device for lifting a container engages fittings at the corners, and a mechanism which releasably engages a lid of the container such that it can be lifted while the container is being lifted. said device, including a second lifting means which operates to releasably engage a lid associated with said container, wherein the lid can be lifted from the container while thed container is being lifted. The lid and lifting arrangement includes an apertured receiving formation on an upper side of a lid to receive a lift member which can engage the formation and unlock a locking mechanism holding the lid to a container. The lift member can also be rotated to unlock the locking mechanism which locks the lid to the container while simultaneously locking the lift member to the lid.

Specialty intermodal container having a roll cover roof, method of use and manufacture

An intermodal container includes first and second ends, joined by first and second sides in a generally rectangular configuration. A generally continuous floor cooperates with the first and second ends and the first and second sides to form an open top container. A plurality of roof overhangs extend adjacent a top of the open top container, generally parallel to the floor. The intermodal container includes a roll cover having a first position in which the open top container is substantially open to the ambient environment to allow for loading from above the first and second sides and first and second ends of the open top container. The roll cover has a second position in which the open top container is substantially closed to the ambient environment to prevent any contents of the open top container to be ejected from the open top container during transport. A plurality of top reinforcement rails are disposed adjacent upper portions of the first and second sides, and extends from the first side to the second side.

Bulk material container for well operations system supply and transport

A bulk material container can include a body, having a plurality of side walls, a bottom, a cavity, and an opening, and a first engagement element. The plurality of side walls are coupled to the bottom, and the cavity, which is configured to receive a bulk material, is formed within the plurality of side walls and above the bottom. The opening is formed by the plurality of side walls spatially opposite of the bottom and is configured to discharge the bulk material when the container is at least partially inverted. The first engagement element can be configured to receive one or more prongs of a transportation device or a bulk material unloading device. In some embodiments, the container may also include a second engagement element and/or a third engagement element, for example with the first, second, and/or third engagement elements differing from each other.
