Modular insulated container and method for operating same
A modular insulated container for storing goods at constant temperatures. The container has, in an outwardly insulating manner, at least one base, at least one cover and at least four side walls of insulating material, which enclose an inner chamber provided for accommodating the goods in a thermally insulating manner. The at least four side walls are mounted separately with the at least one base and the at least one cover. At least one of the mounted, outwardly insulating side walls has temperature control elements, which face the inner chamber and contain thermal storage fluids, which are separated from the inner chamber by thermally conductive material.
THERMALLY INSULATED SHIPPING SYSTEM FOR PALLET-SIZED PAYLOAD, METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME, AND KIT FOR USE THEREIN
Thermally insulated shipping system for use in transporting a pallet-sized payload. In one embodiment, the system includes a plurality of thermally insulating walls arranged to define an interior volume suitable for receiving a pallet-sized payload. The thermally insulating walls include a top wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a left wall, and a right wall, of which all but the bottom wall include at least two slots facing towards the interior volume. One of the slots is an inner slot that is more proximal to the interior volume, and one of the slots is an outer slot that is more distal to the interior volume. The system also includes a plurality of inner cassettes disposed in at least some of the inner slots and a plurality of outer cassettes disposed in at least some of the outer slots. The inner and outer cassettes include phase-change materials.
REUSABLE TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH A LATERAL WALL WITH AN ORIENTATION SENSOR
A reusable transport container includes a base and foldable and/or collapsible side panel sections arranged on the base. The side panel sections can be brought into an upright position in which the side panel sections are substantially perpendicular to the base, and into a non-upright position in which the side panel sections are folded or collapsed. The reusable transport container includes a sensor configured to distinguish between the upright position and the non-upright position of at least one side panel section, and a transmitting device coupled to or integrated in the sensor configured to output different signals corresponding to the position detected by the sensor.
BULK BIN WITH PANEL TO PANEL INTERLOCK FEATURES
A collapsible bulk bin container with structures for improved strength is provided. The bulk bin container includes wrap-around portions in the short sidewalls with a horizontal top plate and a horizontal rib proximate the top plate. The bulk bin container also includes ramp structure in the long side sidewall and base for lifting and dropping the sidewall when pivoted upright. The upright sidewall and base include surfaces to inhibit or prevent buckling due to compressive loads. The bin can also include post and pocket interlock structures.
Container having non-linear and linear tracks for supporting movable dunnage
A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has a frame, tracks supported by opposite sides of the frame, and a plurality of dunnage supports extending between the tracks. At least one of the tracks on each side is generally U-shaped and at least one is linear. Each dunnage support may comprise end members and a middle member, the end members being movable along the tracks. The dunnage supports support dunnage for supporting products for storage or shipment.
Collapsible container and method of operating a collapsible container
A collapsible container comprising a base comprising a plurality of grooves located at a periphery of a top surface of said base; a first sleeve having a first set of three flat surfaces; wherein at least one first flat surface of said first set of three flat surfaces comprises an extension of said first flat surface adapted to be inserted in at least one groove of said plurality of grooves; a second sleeve having a second set of three flat surfaces; wherein at least one second flat surface of said second set of three flat surfaces comprises an extension of said second flat surface adapted to be inserted in at least one groove of said plurality of grooves; where when said first sleeve and said second sleeve are located in their respective grooves, they completely surround said base; where said plurality of grooves do not comprise a full-angled groove.
MODULAR CRATE ASSEMBLY AND ITS USE
A modular crate assembly for the handling and transportation of goods, including a bottom pallet part and a sidewall having four side panels mounted onto the bottom pallet part. The four side panels are modular and formed of multiple side panel modules that are assembled and mutually joined at corners to form the sidewall, with each side panel module including first and second lateral mating interfaces configured to allow direct joining of two adjacent side panel modules along two perpendicular planes to form the corners of the sidewall. The first and second lateral mating interfaces are configured to allow direct (or indirect) joining of two adjacent side panel modules along a same plane to form each side panel. The first lateral mating interface is provided with a male or female connecting structure configured to mate with a corresponding female or male connecting structure provided on the second lateral mating interface.
Collapsible container
In one embodiment, a container includes a base and a lower wall section extending upward from the base. One or more upper wall sections are stacked on the first wall section. A pair of flanges may extend perpendicularly from outer edges of the lower wall section and the upper wall sections. An upper door may be hingeably connected to one of the flanges of the second wall section. A lower door may be hingeably connected to one of the flanges of the lower wall section.
