COLLAPSIBLE STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION UNIT
A collapsible storage and transportation unit is disclosed and comprises a base including a cargo area surrounded by an edge having four ends; four wall panel supporting members connected to the edge of the base, each wall panel supporting member comprising at least a first post member and a second post member, the wall panel supporting members being pivotable between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration, wherein in the folded configuration the wall panel supporting members are lying down over the base and the collapsible storage and transportation unit is in a collapsed configuration. In the unfolded configuration the first post member of a first given wall panel supporting member and the second post member of a second given wall panel supporting member are both adjacent to each other. A first collapsible storage and transportation unit is stackable over a second collapsible storage and transportation unit.
Adjustable pallet rack
Systems and devices are provided for loading a transportation unit. The system includes a pallet rack unit. The pallet rack unit is configured to receive and support loaded pallets. The pallet rack unit is configured to be loaded into the transportation unit with other pallet rack units that are substantially identical to the pallet rack unit. The pallet rack unit and the other pallet rack units, together, substantially fill a length and a width of the transportation unit. The pallet rack unit includes a base configured to receive a first loaded pallet. The pallet rack unit is further configured to be forkliftable. The pallet rack unit includes a plurality of posts coupled to the base and at least one height adjustable shelf coupled to the posts. The at least one height adjustable shelf is configured to receive and support a second loaded pallet. Additional shelves may be used to handle additional loaded pallets.
MODULAR PALLET SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING BULKY AND FRAGILE GOODS IN A MULTI-STORY CONSTELLATION
Modular pallet system for transporting bulky and fragile goods in a multi-story constellation, the system consists of the modules basic-pallet, vertical-pillars, longitudinal-reinforce-elements and transversal-reinforce-elements. The basic-pallet provides the surface for placing the cargo and for lashing via integrated tie-down points. Further junction points at the edges of the basic-pallet are for the connection with the vertical-pillars and through these with the reinforce elements, necessary to provide the assembly's stability, enabling stack ability with additional basic-pallets on top.
Pallet and container kit
A foldably constructed pallet includes a top member forming a top surface of the foldably constructed pallet and a bottom member forming a bottom surface of the foldably constructed pallet. The bottom member includes, extending from the bottom surface, a plurality of outer sidewalls, and a plurality of internal sidewalls. An outer sidewall of the plurality of outer sidewalls and an internal sidewall of the plurality of internal sidewalls cooperate to define a cradle configured to hold a structural insert such that folded panels of the structural insert may be engaged with each of the outer sidewall and the internal sidewall. The top member may be connected to the bottom member and covering the cradle.
Re-Usable Crate System
A re-usable crate system has a frame removably coupled to a pallet and extending above the pallet to form a crate to receive cargo over the pallet and at least partially between the frame. The frame has corner brackets at each corner of the pallet. Each corner bracket comprises a bottom plate proximate a bottom of the pallet, a top plate proximate a top of the pallet, and a pair of contiguous side walls extending between the top and bottom plates. The pair of side walls adjoin one another and forms a box with a pair of contiguous side openings opposite the pair of contiguous side walls. Each corner bracket has a pocket to receive a respective corner of the pallet.
METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A FOLDABLY CONSTRUCTED PALLET
A method of assembling a pallet using a machine includes folding a first portion of a pallet support column to define a vertical support structure. The method further includes folding a second portion of the pallet support column to engage the vertical support structure. The method further includes gluing at least a portion of the second portion to the first portion. The method further includes coupling the pallet support column to at least one of a bottom member or a top member of the pallet.
PALLET AND CONTAINER KIT
Disclosed herein is a packaging kit. The kit includes a pallet having a top support surface and fork lift apertures. The kit also includes a base having an enclosed volume sized so the pallet fits within the enclosure volume. The kit also includes side walls each being smaller in area than the top support surface of the pallet. The kit includes a plurality of joint supports with each of the plurality of joint supports configured to couple at least two side walls together providing support across the joints between the side walls. A coupler is provided that is configured to attach the base to the pallet. A cap is provided that is configured to slide down over top of the base substantially enclosing the enclosed volume between the base and the cap. The pallet, side walls, joint supports, and coupler fit within the enclosed volume. The packaging kit is also expandable to be assembled as a packaging system with a container positioned on the pallet.
PLASTIC STACKING CRATES
Plastic pallets including side walls are described, which can be used in place of wooden pallets to provide protection for goods during shipping or other uses. Parts of the pallet can be modular, allowing easy replacing and recycling in the case of damage. For example, the side walls can be removed, which can also allow easy access to the pallet's storage area. Retractable pegs can be included in the bottom of the pallet base, which can pair with recesses on the top of the side corners of the pallet. The use of the retractable pegs on the bottom of one pallet and recesses on the top of another pallet enable the pegs and recesses to pair for easy stacking, increasing stacking stability and limiting shifting of the pallets and goods in the storage areas during shipping.
Crates
A collapsible crate for transporting goods, the crate having an upstanding wall, at least a portion of which is movable, locating feature and releasable locking feature for releasably securing the movable wall portion relative to the crate, wherein the locating feature has a projection receivable within a recess or aperture to align, in use, the movable wall portion relative to the crate such that the movable wall portion is releasably securable by the locking feature.
Reusable container
An object to be packaged is positioned and secured on a set rack, and the set rack is placed on a buffer material provided on a bottom plate of an inner packaging cover. Right/left cover portions of the inner packaging cover are folded up at folding lines so that the inner packaging cover covers the set rack, and the set rack is placed on a bottom panel of the outer packaging case with the inner packaging cover therebetween. Thereafter, an open/close panel is slid along a guide groove formed on a side opening of the outer packaging case so as to close the side opening by the open/close panel, and an upper opening is covered by a top plate panel to thereby store the object to be packaged in the outer packaging case using the inner packaging cover and the set rack.
