Article metering apparatus, system and methods
An article metering system is generally provided. The system is primarily comprised of a conveyor section, for receipt of a bulk flow of articles and conveyance of spaced apart metered article groups downstream of an ingress portion thereof, and an article metering station characterized by an article metering apparatus characterized by a drive assembly and a driven member driven thereby. The driven member includes an end effector for select positioning between adjacent articles of articles of the bulk flow of articles received by the conveyor section in furtherance of delimiting a downstream spaced apart metered article group characterized by a select number of columns. The drive assembly includes cooperatively driven servo drives to effectuate travel of the end effector in either of a downstream article flow direction or an upstream article flow direction, and an up/down direction in relation to articles of the bulk flow of articles received by the conveyor section.

DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING A FLOW OF CARDBOARD TUBULAR CORES
Device for controlling a flow of cardboard tubular cores (1) adapted to produce logs of paper material and intended to be stored in a collection point (2) placed downstream of the same device, comprising more conveyors (5; 7) each of which is adapted for carrying the said tubular cores (1) up to the entry point (6D) of a respective guide channel (6) having an entry point (6D) and an exit point (6F), interception means (8) adapted for intercepting the tubular cores (1), said interception means being arranged and acting on each of said channels (6) to adjust the flow of the tubular cores through the respective exit points (6F), and programmable means (UE) adapted for activating and deactivating said interception means (8). The interception means (8) are adapted to selectively form two nips (N1, N2) inside the guide channel (6), the nips (N1, N2) being selectively formed at a predetermined distance from each other.
Apparatus and method for transferring electronic devices
An apparatus for conveying electronic devices comprises a track for conveying a plurality of electronic devices in a row towards a pick-up position on the track where the electronic devices are removed by a pick-up device. A guiding portion located over the track has a first restraining mechanism formed in the guiding portion that is operative to restrain and secure a first electronic device at a first position next to the pick-up position and a second restraining mechanism formed in the guiding portion that is operative to restrain and secure a second electronic device at a second position away from the pick-up position which is immediately subsequent to the first position. The first and second electronic devices are configured to be released and conveyed towards the pick-up position when the first and second restraining mechanisms respectively are deactivated. A corresponding method is also provided.
CONVEYING DEVICE
The present invention discloses a conveying device that uses a movable blocking element to block the forward movement of the internal part/component in the front end workpiece, so that the internal part/component cannot move forward. When the movable blocking element swings from top to bottom, it does not obstruct the setting of the movable blocking element and the internal part/component moving backward. Therefore, it is convenient to not obstruct the backward movement of the front end workpiece and has good practicality. The setting of the front left and right avoidance slots and the rear left and right avoidance slots facilitates the external mechanical arm to avoid the front and rear guide slots when clamping and placing workpieces.
RELATING TO PACKAGING
An end effector adapted to be carried by a robot positioning apparatus for packing items of produce, the end effector adapted in use for holding an open topped elongate container (tube) in an inverted orientation, wherein the tube has a closed bottom end and an open top end; the end effector comprising: at least one actuatable movable element located on the end effector so as to be adjacent the open end of a tube held by the end effector; wherein the actuatable movable element is configured to be operable between: an extended position which at least partially extends over the open end of a tube held by the end effector to at least partially obstruct the open end of the tube; and a retracted position so that the open end of the container is substantially unobstructed to allow items of produce to be received in the tube.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING PARTS
Method and device (1) for separating parts (2), for example rotationally symmetrical closures, containers and/or preforms, the device comprising a transport apparatus (10) by means of which the parts (2) to be conveyed are able to be conveyed to, through or out of the device (1) along a transport path (16) in a transport direction (11), the transport apparatus (10) having at least one transport means (12) for transporting the parts (2) in one row and an accumulation section (13); and a blocking assembly (20) comprising at least one blocking element (20.1; 20.2) which is in the form of a rocker and the length of which extends in the transport direction (11), which blocking element defines a range of action W for the parts (2). The device (1) further comprises an actuator (30). The actuator (30) is designed to pivot the at least one blocking element (20.1; 20.2) into a first position in which a part (2.1) advancing into the range of action W is held back, and to pivot said at least one blocking element from the first position into a second position in which the advancing part (2.1) is able to be received within the range of action W.
CONVEYING SYSTEM
A conveying system, the conveying system including a conveyor arranged for conveying a storage container; a body shaped to comprise a ramp to enable the storage container to move along a first path and a substantially vertical face forming a stopping surface for stopping the storage container from moving along a second path; wherein the body is moveable between a retracted position to permit movement of the storage container along the first path of the conveyor and a raised position to prevent movement of the storage container along the second path of the conveyor; the second path being directionally opposite to the first path; wherein the body is resiliently biased in the raised position and the bias is overcome by the storage container riding over the ramp.
METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING GOODS BETWEEN CONTAINERS, AND TRANSFER DEVICE AND TURNING DEVICE THEREFOR
The disclosure relates to a turning device and a method for turning containers, wherein the containers are received between two turning conveying devices. The turning conveying devices are rotated about an axis of rotation in order to turn the containers. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a transfer device and a method for transferring an article from a receiving container to a transferring container, wherein a receiving container is put over a transferring container at a put-over station in order to form a turning pair. The turning pair is turned by the turning device. Subsequently, the transferring container can be removed from the receiving container at a removal station in order to transfer the article to the receiving container.
