PAPER ROLL DISPENSER
A paper roll dispenser can be installed with a paper roll, which is parallel to a long press plate, which has an upper side connected with a hold-down strip. When the paper of the paper roll contact with the hold-down strip, the paper exceeds the paper roll can produce cutting effect. A guide roller is provided beneath the paper roll and if change the direction of the paper roll, the paper of the paper roll can be connected to a crumpled paper device by means of the guide roller, able to produce an effect of constriction of the paper, thus tallying with demand of ergonomics.
PRINTING DEVICE INCLUDING STOPPER FOR RESTRICTING MOVEMENT OF SHEET SUPPORTING PORTIONS
A printing device includes a holder including: a first movable portion including a first support portion; a second movable portion including a second support portion; a pinion; a spring; an adjustment screw; a handle rotatable with the adjustment screw; and a stopper threadingly engaged with the adjustment screw. The first movable portion is movable in a first direction and a second direction opposite the first direction. The second movable portion is movable in the first direction and the second direction in accordance with movement of the first movable portion in the second direction and the first direction. The handle is positioned outside of a region defined between the first and second support portions positioned remotest from each other in the first direction. The stopper is in abutment with one of the first and second movable portions to restrict movements of the first and second movable portions.
STAND FOR SELF CONTAINED CARTRIDGE AND METHOD FOR MANUALLY DISPENSING AN EXPANDABLE CUSHIONING WRAP
An unpowered, manually operable apparatus for dispensing cushioning wrap material drawn concurrently from a roll of separator material and a self-contained cartridge that includes a roll of expandable sheet material. The rolls are supported on a stand for rotation about respective parallel, spaced-apart axes. In addition to the roll, the cartridge includes a tensioning assembly and support panels that abut respective ends of the roll. The tensioning assembly and the support panels cooperate with the stand to control rotational resistance of the roll. The rotational resistance causes the expandable sheet material to expand in length and thickness as it is manually pulled from the stand with the separator material, and support surfaces on the stand hold the cartridge and the separator roll in position. When the cartridge containing the expandable sheet material is depleted, the cartridge is readily removed and replaced.
PRINTING APPARATUS
There is provided a printing apparatus that is capable of reducing an occurrence of transport disorder of a medium when transporting the medium unwound from an unwinding unit that holds a roll body.
The printing apparatus performs printing on the medium unwound from the roll body having the medium wound into a cylindrical shape, the printing apparatus including: an unwinding unit 40 that rotatably holds the roll body and unwinds the medium by rotating the roll body; a transport unit that transports the medium unwound from the unwinding unit 40; and a printing unit that performs printing on the medium transported by the transport unit. The unwinding unit 40 includes a first rotary body 441 that is integrally rotatable with the roll body by engaging with a first end of the roll body, a second rotary body 451 that is integrally rotatable with the roll body by engaging with a second end of the roll body, a first motor 442 that rotatably drives the first rotary body 441, and a second motor 452 that rotatably drives the second rotary body 451.
MULTIPLE SIZE MEDIA HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR A MOBILE PRINTER
A media holder assembly(11) includes a base(13) secured to a platform(15). The platform(15) has a central cylindrical depression(16). A first hub(20) protrudes from the center of the depression(16). A first spring(24), concentric to the first hub(20) biases a second, ring-shaped hub(30) which is fitted over the first spring(24). The second hub(30) is slidably engaged to the first hub(20). A second spring(26), concentric to the first hub(20) and sized to fit around the second hub(30), biases a third, ring-shaped hub(40) which is fitted over the second spring(26). The third hub(40) is slidably engaged to the second hub(30) and to the inner wall(17) of the cylindrical depression(16). The first hub(20), the second hub(30), and the third hub(40) are sized to accommodate media rolls of different sizes.
ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR A ROLLER BLIND
An adjustment mechanism for a roller blind. The adjustment mechanism comprises (i) an adjustment spring housing securable to an end plate of the roller blind such that when so secured the housing does not rotate independent of the end plate, (ii) a balancing spring coupler at least partially receivable within the adjustment spring housing, the balancing spring coupler having an outer end securable to an end of a balancing spring of the roller blind, (iii) an adjustment spring, the adjustment spring transferring rotational torque between the adjustment spring housing and the balancing spring coupler, and (iv) an adjustment shaft positioned at least partially within the adjustment spring housing. Rotation of the adjustment shaft causes a rotation of the balancing spring coupler and the adjustment spring relative to the adjustment spring housing to increase or decrease the torsional loading of the balancing spring.
PRINTER PAPER BUCKET WITH ROTATING SPINDLE MECHANISM FOR ACCOMMODATING MEDIA ROLLS OF VARYING WIDTH
A paper bucket for a printer with a self-adjusting spindle mechanism capable of accommodating media rolls of varying width is provided, together with a printer having such a paper bucket and corresponding method. The adjustable paper bucket may have a bucket frame and oppositely disposed wall assemblies pivotally mounted in the bucket frame. The adjustable paper bucket may further include oppositely disposed vertical flanges, each of the vertical flanges being pivotally mounted to a respective one of the wall assemblies. A spindle flange is rotatably mounted to each vertical flange for accepting a media roll therebetween. A motion linkage connects the wall assemblies together such that a movement of one of the wall assemblies results in an equal and opposite movement of the other one of the wall assemblies.
Printer using roll paper
A printer has a roll of a paper and a cutter. The cutter includes a stationary blade provided and a movable blade. The movable blade is movable in an up-down direction with respect to the stationary blade between a first position and a second position. The stationary-side cutting tooth is located at a position higher than a guide surface. The movable-side cutting tooth is located, with respect to the guide surface, at a lower position when the movable blade is located at the first position, at a higher position when located at the second position, and at a third position, which is between the first and second positions, when the roll is attached to an accommodating part of the printer. When located at the third position, at least a part of the movable-side cutting tooth is located at a higher position than the lower end of the guide surface.
LIFTING MECHANISM AND RECORDING APPARATUS
