Each alignment member includes a contact surface coming in contact with one end of the sheet in the width direction, a lower surface facing a lower surface of the sheet that is in contact with the contact surface, a lower portion supporting the lower surface of the sheet that is in contact with the contact surface, and an upper portion facing an upper surface of the sheet that is in contact with the contact surface.
System for a Printer Extension Kit
A printer extension kit that modifies a printer to receive and output longer pieces of paper. The printer extension kit includes an input extension part and an output extension part. The input extension part allows a printer to receive longer pieces of paper. In more detail, the paper tray of a printer is extended by the input extension part allowing the printer to hold longer pieces of paper. The input extension part is attached to the paper tray of a printer. The output extension part allows a printer to output longer pieces of paper. In more detail, the output extension part prevents longer pieces of paper from falling of the catch tray of a printer. The output extension part is attached into the catch tray of a printer.
Loading mechanism, feeding device, image forming apparatus, and image forming system
Disclosed is a loading unit for use in loading a bundle of objects to be conveyed, the loading unit being installed on a lifting member of a feeding device. The loading unit includes a first movable base on which a downstream side in a conveying direction of a bundle of objects to be conveyed is loaded, the first movable base being rotatable; and a second movable base on which an upstream side in the conveying direction of the bundle of objects is loaded, the second movable base being rotatable and disposed on a more upstream side in the conveying direction than the first movable base.
STACKING APPARATUS, FEEDING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A stacking apparatus includes a limiting member which moves along a feeding direction and limits a trailing edge of a stacked sheet in the feeding direction, and a partition member which partitions a space at a height which is lower than a predetermined height, into a first space corresponding to a first stacking unit and a second space corresponding to a second stacking unit in a feeding direction. The partition member includes a first opening portion for communicating the first space and the second space with each other, and a second opening portion that allows the limiting member to move.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet supporting portion including a supporting surface, an abutment portion against which a leading edge of the sheet abuts, a feeding rotator configured to feed the sheet, a first friction member provided on the supporting surface so as to face the feeding rotator, the first friction member including a first friction surface having a static friction coefficient greater than that of the supporting surface, a trailing end supporting portion configured to support a trailing end portion of the sheet curved upward, and a second friction member disposed upstream of the first friction member in the sheet feeding direction on the supporting surface, the second friction member including a second friction surface which has a static friction coefficient greater than that of the supporting surface and is configured to be in contact with the sheet supported by the supporting surface.
HANDLING SYSTEM FOR HANDLING STACKABLE FLAT ELEMENTS
A handling system (100) for handling stackable flat elements, in particular carton elements. The system (100) includes a supporting table (102) on which at least an edge portion (303) of a stack (101) of flat elements is supportable, a clamping device (103) configured for clamping a first part (113) of the edge portion of the stack (101) to the supporting table (102), and a lifting device (104) configured for lifting a second part (114) of the stack (101) from the supporting table (102). The lifting device (104) and the clamping device (103) are arranged to the supporting table (102) such that the stack (101) is bendable by clamping the first part (113) of the stack (101) onto the supporting table (102) by the clamping device (103) and lifting the second part (114) of the stack (101) from the supporting table (102) by the lifting device (104) at the same time such that the stack (101) is bent around a bending axis (109), wherein the bending axis (109) extends within a plane parallel to a supporting plane (112) of the supporting surface (111).
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet feeding device comprises a bottom plate, an auxiliary tray and a tilt table. The bottom plate is configured to move along a vertical axis. The auxiliary tray is disposed on the bottom plate. The tilt table includes a lower table disposed on the bottom plate, an upper table rotatably connected to the lower table at one end of the upper table by a pivot, and a resilient member disposed between the upper table and the lower table, the resilient member configured to press the upper table upward. MEDIA TRAY WITH RAMP
A media tray may include a number of mezzanines to accumulate media as the media is ejected from a printing device and a number of ramps to selectively engage with a leading edge of the media as the media is accumulated based on a plurality of positions of the number of ramps, the number of ramps positionable based on movement of the number of mezzanines. In one example, movement of the number of mezzanines from a first position to a second position may cause the number of ramps to be in a position to selectively engage and disengage with a leading edge of the media.
