Load centering devices and methods for a material handling vehicle

Load centering devices and methods for a material handling vehicle are provided. In particular, load centering devices and methods are provided that enable a load to be centered with respect to load carrying forks on a material handling vehicle when the load is raised and/or lowered by the forks.

Nonmetallic bearing on bearing assembly

A slide-bearing assembly capable of enabling sliding of a load-carrying surface relative to a load-supporting structure, such that the slide-bearing assembly may include a first arrangement of at least one substantially nonmetallic elongate bearing element capable of extending along a first load-carrying surface and a second arrangement of at least two substantially nonmetallic elongate bearing elements capable of extending longitudinally in series along a second load-carrying surface parallel to the first load-carrying surface such that the second load-carrying surface is in non-coextensive supportive relationship with the first load-carrying surface.

Automatic guided vehicle for handling reels and related control method

An automatic guided vehicle for handling reels includes a telescopic upright integral with a vehicle frame bearing a fork carriage provided with at least one pair of forks and connected to the telescopic upright with an equipment. The equipment includes a plurality of actuators and a plurality of sensors, the equipment including a pair of actuators for tilting the fork carriage, an actuator to control the global lateral translation of the fork carriage, at least one pair of actuators for the symmetrical movement of the forks towards and away from each other. Each fork has a substantially rectangular section with a height greater than the base. Opposite facing walls of the forks are flat and can be approached in direct contact with each other, the two coupled forks having bevels along all the four edges facing outwards. Each fork can have a V shaped seat on the upper face.

CARRYING ROBOT, CARRYING CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, AND WAREHOUSE SYSTEM

Provided are a carrying robot, a carrying control method, a control device and a warehouse system. The carrying robot is applicable to a carrying scenario where boxes with at least two specifications are placed on a shelf and includes a cargo carrying apparatus. The cargo carrying apparatus includes a bottom pallet, a spacing adjustment mechanism and a first fork arm and a second fork arm which are disposed opposite to each other. The first fork arm and the second fork arm are disposed on two opposite sides of the bottom pallet, respectively. The carrying control method includes: controlling the spacing adjustment mechanism to adjust spacing between the first fork arm and the second fork arm; and controlling the cargo carrying apparatus to work and carry the box to be carried to the bottom pallet.

A barrier system is used to block a travel path. The barriers block and direct paths of vehicular and pedestrian travel. The barriers may be shaped substantially as a truncated pyramid with a base surface and planar sides extending from the edges of the base surface to a top portion, where the cross-sectional area of the base surface is larger than the cross-sectional area of the top portion. The angles of inclination between the planar sides and the interior of the base surface are acute angles. The bollard can be cast from heavy dense materials. The bollard includes at least two overhanging lips on the planar sides of the barrier between the base surface and the top portion. The configurations of the bollards provide improved placement, such as with cranes, hand carts, and other devices. Molds to cast the barriers and hand carts to move the barriers are also disclosed.

A tractor attachment mountable on a loader boom of a tractor and a tractor attachment kit. In one embodiment, the tractor attachment is a grapple assembly, and the grapple assembly kit includes a mounting assembly, a plurality of clamping units, and a plurality of support units. The clamping units and the support units are removably mountable on the mounting assembly and may be arranged in different combinations on the mounting assembly. Such combinations may range from a single clamping unit mounted on the mounting assembly to a mixture of clamping units and support units mounted on the mounting assembly to several clamping units mounted on the mounting assembly. The clamping units may have alternative pivot points to permit jaws of the clamping unit to close at different speeds and with different forces. One or more fangs may be removably mounted on a clamping unit to enhance its grip.
