PAPER BUCKLING ASSEMBLY FOR CIGARETTE MANUFACTURING MACHINE
A paper buckling assembly for a cigarette manufacturing machine comprises a buckling frame having a first end and a second end. The buckling frame is configured to be coupled to a support frame of a cigarette manufacturing machine, such that the first end of the buckling frame aligns with a filling pipe of the cigarette manufacturing machine. The buckling frame carries a rear buckling element and a front buckling element. The rear buckling element is distal to the first end of the buckling frame, and the front buckling element is proximal to the first end of the buckling frame. The rear buckling element and the front buckling element are slidably disposed within the buckling frame and are connected through an elastic member. The rear buckling element includes a catch member for engagement with an actuating assembly of the cigarette manufacturing machine.
Device for filling paper tubes with tobacco
The invention relates to a device for filling paper tubes with tobacco, comprising an attachment for receiving the paper tube, a pressing tool guided by a guide unit with a pressing die, the device comprising a container for receiving tobacco with a container outlet, the pressing die being movable from a first position, in which first position the bore is released, into a second position for introducing the tobacco into the paper tube, and the attachment, the container outlet and the guide unit being arranged along an axis.

Compact system for preparing personal smokable products
A system for preparing smokeable material comprising a wall providing an upper chamber and a lower chamber with a grate between the chambers. Feed smokeable material in the upper chamber has its size reduced with a size reducer a sufficient amount that it can pass through the grade into the lower chamber as fill smokeable material. A support below the lower chamber is provided for supporting a wrapper. There is an opening in the lower chamber for fill smokeable material to pass into the wrapper. An axially moveable tamper can tamp the fill smokeable material in the wrapper. Biasing means bias the wall and tamper into the upper position. A mechanism is provided for moving the tamper from its upper position to its lower position against the biasing means for tamping the smokeable material in the wrapper.

Folding station of a packaging apparatus and system
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final folded packages. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus packs the crumbled leaves into the cones, closes the wide top portion of the cone into a precise shape, and then runs a quality control check to ensure that the final filled cone meets preset specifications.

CONE CLOSURE APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
A cone closure apparatus for production of smoking articles includes: (a) a frame; and (b) at least one cone holder supported by the frame and extending along an axis. The cone holder has a lower grip surface for applying a rotational force about the axis to an outer surface of a lower filled portion of a cone received in the cone holder. The cone having an upper empty portion disposed above the lower filled portion and protruding clear of the lower grip surface to receive a counter-rotational force about the axis, in a direction opposite the rotational force. The closure apparatus further includes (c) a drive supported by the frame for applying at least one of the rotational force and the counter-rotational force to twist the upper empty portion closed when the drive is energized.

FOLDED PACKAGE
The technology described herein generally relates to particular form of folded package. The package packages loose particles into a conical container and secures the filling with a folded distal end. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied as filling and the package may further be provided with a fluid core.
