Insecticide fumigator for luring mosquitos by means of ultraviolet light emitting diode
An insecticide fumigator including a chemical cartridge mount on which a chemical cartridge is configured to be mounted, a heater disposed near the chemical cartridge mount and configured to heat the chemical cartridge such that an insecticide in the chemical cartridge is evaporated from a fumigation part of the chemical cartridge, a light source disposed near the fumigation part and configured to emit light having a first wavelength range to attract insects, and a housing provided with the chemical cartridge mount and receiving the heater and the light source, in which the light source includes a UV LED and a substrate on which the UV LED is mounted, and the housing has a light passage hole through which light emitted from the light source passes.
Portable thermal insect repellent system
An evaporator is provided, for use with a wicked reservoir containing a volatile liquid. The reservoir has a plurality of guide members disposed symmetrically around the wick and extending beyond the height of the wick. The evaporator features a base containing a battery, and a removable cover containing a heater. Attachment of the cover to the base is necessary to establish an electrical connection between the battery and the heater. The guide members fit into recesses in the cover only when the heater and wick are properly aligned, and the heater cannot make electrical connection with the battery unless the guide members and wick are properly aligned with the recesses and heater, respectively.
ECO-FRIENDLY HOT STEAM SOIL STERILIZER WITH SOIL SHREDDER
The present invention is a mechanical technology that kills parasitic pests, harmful bacteria and weed seeds in the soil by using high-temperature steam while moving forward by using a caterpillar with a self-powered device in order to smoothly perform the eco-friendly high-temperature steam soil disinfection in all types of soils, such as clays and sandy soils, having suitable moisture content; a mechanical technology in which the steam boiler is operated with power of an A/C generator to produce steam the steam is supplied to the re-heater installed on an upper portion of a nozzle through a high-pressure steam hose to increase the steam temperature to reheat the steam with high-temperature dry steam, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of high-temperature steam soil disinfection, and a saw blade type crusher is activated with the pre-generated electrical energy to crush and soften the soil, so that the high-temperature steam sprayed from the steam outlet of the nozzle protected by the needle rod penetrates into the soil within a short time, and the high-temperature steam is covered with a cover to become banded steam so as to be prevented from escaping to the outside, thereby increasing the instantaneous temperature of the soil; a mechanical technology that conducts disinfection work while checking all directions of the high-temperature steam soil sterilizer with a video monitor in a cockpit; and a researched and developed mechanical technology in which multi-level thermometers installed on the needle rod is monitored through a temperature monitor in the cockpit, so that the killing temperature of pests, harmful bacteria, and weed seeds is analyzed while watching a status of the temperature of the heated soil.
FLAMELESS ENERGIZED EMANATOR
An energized assembly to disseminate a treatment agent in vapor phase to a local environment. The assembly includes an emanator element to hold treatment agent, and a flameless energizing source to facilitate volatization of the treatment agent. Preferred embodiments operate for a period of time of between about 4 and 8 hours, and can then be discarded. Typically, a housing associates the treatment agent and the energizing source. Embodiments may sometimes include one or more of: a gas-tight boundary element, a thermal transfer element, a trigger mechanism, a safety mechanism, a termination mechanism, a time-delay mechanism, solidized treatment agent to avoid spills, and a sequestering arrangement.

Mollusc Barrier
Use of a composition as a barrier to molluscs is disclosed. The composition comprises a combustion product or an alkaline material and is in granular form. The granular composition may be effective and long-acting in such a use due to improved weather resistance compared to loose combustion product or alkaline material. A method of producing such a granular composition comprising a combustion product or an alkaline material and a barrier method preventing access to plants by molluscs with said granular composition comprising a combustion product or an alkaline material are also disclosed. A granular composition comprising at least 98 wt % of a combustion product or an alkaline material, wherein at least 98% of the granules have a size of from 0.5 to 10.0 mm is also disclosed.
