DEVICE TO SPRAY OMNIDIRECTIONALLY AND AVOID BACKFLOW
20210053745 · 2021-02-25 ·

A device to allow for the continuous spraying of pressurized liquid from an aerosol spray can at any angle required, and in locations that can only be accessed through an openings through which an aerosol spray can does not fit, all while automatically preventing backflow of the pressurized liquid through the device.

SPRAY DISPENSER

A hand held spray dispenser in which air and liquid are pressurised towards a turbulence chamber and wherein air is introduced into the liquid adjacent to an inlet orifice of the turbulence chamber and the mixture passes through the inlet orifice into the turbulence chamber before being expelled through an exit orifice.

METERED AND ACTIVE SPRAYER DEVICES WITH AEROSOL FUNCTIONALITY ("Flairosol II")

In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, Flairosol dispensing devices can be provided. Such devices utilize a combination of Flair technology, pre-compression valves and aerosol-like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. Such a dispensing device has, for example, a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring. The device further has a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a container, for example, the inner container of a Flair bottle, and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates a trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve, which serve to prevent backflow. Liquid exiting the piston chamber under pressure (supplied by a user pumping the trigger) enters a central vertical channel which is in fluid communication with both the pressure chamber (above the pressure piston) and a dome valve provided near the outlet channel at the top of the dispensing head. The dome valve has a preset pressure, such that once exceeded by the liquid, opens and allows for a spray. If the liquid pressure drops below such preset pressure, the dome valve closes off the outlet channel, which serves to regulate the strength of the flow and preclude leakage. Alternatively, in an activated embodiment, for example, once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it can be dispensed by a user allowing the dome valve to open by pressing on an activation button that removes a dome lock.

Ironwood Timber Marking Paint System

A timber marking system includes a portable back pack mounted user, the pack carrying a paint storage tank and a pressurized gas tank. The storage tank is pressurized and coupled with a manually operated trigger to allow filed operated timber marking. A method to mark timber includes preparing the tank system with pressurized gas, selectively marking a preidentified tree at the trunk and stump.

SPRAYER DEVICE WITH AEROSOL FUNCTIONALITY -FLAIROSOL

In embodiments, devices are provided. The devices have a main body comprising a pressure chamber, with pressure piston and pressure spring, and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a reservoir and fills the pressure chamber as a user performs compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both inlet and outlet valves. In a dispensing head a valve is provided to regulate the flow strength and preclude leakage. Once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it is dispensed by a user opening an activation valve, and spray can be abruptly stopped by closing the activation valve. In alternate embodiments, without an activation valve, once the liquid is pressurized, continuous spray occurs until the pressure chamber is fully emptied. Pumping the trigger before the pressure chamber is fully emptied achieves continuous spray. When the input volume is greater than the volume of the pressure chamber volume, continuous spray with fewer pumping strokes occurs.

Holding Device for Spray Container

A holding device is used to maintaining a push button of a spray container to be pressed to release contents without continuous press by an operator. The holding device for a spray container comprises a supporting part which is placed around the push button, an adjusting part having a pillar-shaped portion standing on the supporting part and a diving board-shaped portion connected to the pillar-shaped portion and extending over a top of the push button, on a top of the diving board-shaped portion having a recess; and an auxiliary part being pillar-shaped and standing on the supporting part, having a protrusion toward the adjusting part to be engaged with the recess.

Inline vacuum spring sustained duration sprayer

A sustained duration trigger sprayer includes a first vacuum formed by piston movement in a fluid cylinder which fills the sprayer for delivery of a fluid and a second vacuum formed between a vacuum piston connected to the fluid cylinder and a vacuum cylinder acts on the sprayer to disperse product when a discharge valve is opened.

The invention relates to a device (1) for dispensing a liquid from a container (C), comprising a pump (2) having a suction side (S) that is adapted to be brought into fluid communication with the container (C), a spray nozzle (3) in fluid communication with a pressure side (P) of the pump (2) through an outlet channel (4), a pre-compression valve (5) arranged in the outlet channel (4), and a gas buffer (9) in fluid communication with the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) and with the spray nozzle (3). The gas buffer (9) may comprise a buffer chamber (10) in which a gas-filled resiliently deformable body (11) is arranged, and the gas buffer (9) may extend from the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) in a different direction than the outlet channel (4). The invention further relates to a system for dispensing a liquid, comprising a container (C) that is filled with the liquid and a dispensing device (1) of the type described above connected to the container (C). And the invention relates to a method for dispensing a liquid, comprising the steps of: drawing the liquid from a container (C) and pressurizing the liquid by actuating a pump (2), wherein the container (C) and the pump (2) form part of a dispensing system; guiding a part of the pressurized liquid to a spray nozzle (3) of the dispensing system; spraying the liquid from the nozzle (3); guiding another part of the pressurized liquid to a gas buffer (9) for temporary storage; and spraying the stored liquid from the nozzle (3) when the pump (2) is not being actuated; wherein the pressurized liquid is guided from the pump (2) to the spray nozzle (3) in a different direction than from the pump (2) to the gas buffer (9).
