Cannabis Wrapper For Smoking Articles
A wrapping material for a smoking article is formed from a web that includes extracted pieces of cannabis combined with web building fibers. The web has a basis weight of from about 20 gsm to about 80 gsm and a permeability of from about 10 Coresta to about 100 Coresta. The wrapping material has a natural cannabis smell and taste. The wrapping material is tobacco and nicotine free and can be used as a carrier for flavorings or aerosol delivery compositions.
CONE WRAPPER SYSTEM FOR CONSUMPTION OF SMOKABLE SUBSTANCE
The present invention is directed to a method of making a product for the consumption of smokable substances. A conical wrapped paper is secured to a glass filter tip providing a containment for measured amounts of smokable substance. The method includes the use of organic paper applied adhesives which may have enjoyment enhanced substances entrained within.
Cigarette paper comprising flaky filler
A cigarette paper contains pulp fibers and filler particles, whereby at least 20% of the filler particles, by mass or by particle number, have a flaked shape. The flaked filler particles have a length l, a width b and a thickness d, which correspond to the respective maximum extension in three mutually orthogonal spatial directions, whereby the length l as well as the width b are at least twice as large as the thickness d. The mass-specific median value d.sub.50 of the particle size distribution measured according to ISO 13317-3 is between 0.2 μm and 4.0 μm, and the flaked particles are formed by calcium carbonate.
Tobacco product wrapping material with controlled burning properties
A tobacco product wrapping, material comprising composite particles is described, the composite particles being obtainable by a method in which an aqueous suspension containing calcium carbonate particles is prepared, and a metal salt comprising an aluminum cation is added. The metal salt is able to form a basic metal component in the suspension; and has a solubility of greater than 9.0 mg/L in water, measured at the pH value of the prepared suspension and at a temperature of 20° C. The invention further relates to a method for the production of the tobacco product wrapping material, the use of such tobacco product wrapping material for the production of tobacco products, and the tobacco products produced with the tobacco product wrapping material.
METHOD FOR APPLYING HEAT CONDUCTING PATCHES TO A MATERIAL WEB
A smoking article is provided, including a carbonaceous combustible heat source, an aerosol-forming substrate, and a wrapper circumscribing at least the heat source and the aerosol-forming substrate. One or more heat conducting elements overlie a rear portion of the heat source and an adjacent front portion of the aerosol-forming substrate. At least one heat conducting element includes a patch of thermally conductive printable medium printed onto the wrapper. Also provided is a method for applying heat conducting patches onto a web of smoking article wrapper material, wherein at least some of the patches include an area of thermally conductive printable medium.
Low ignition propensity cigarette and wrapping paper therefor
A low ignition propensity cigarette has wrapping paper (6) wrapping filling material into a rod-like shape, and the wrapping paper (6) includes highly conducting bands (10) formed by calendering and arranged in a longitudinal direction of the cigarette, the highly conducting bands (10) having higher thermal conductivity than inherent thermal conductivity of the wrapping paper (6), and burning depression bands (16) formed in the wrapping paper (6) and superposed upon the respective highly conducting bands (10).
ELONGATED SMOKING ARTICLE
The present invention relates to an elongated smoking article (100) (100) that extends in a longitudinal direction (L) and comprises a cylindrical smoking body (10) with a combustible material (11) that is surrounded by a wrapping paper (12). The smoking article (100) further comprises a filter element (20) that is configured to reduce substances from combustion gases drawn through the filter element (20) from the burning smoking body (10). A first base area of the filter element faces a base area of the smoking body (10) and a second base area (26) is an open base area. A tipping paper (30) is circumscribing the smoking body (10) and the filter element (20) and is attached to external surfaces (13, 21) of the smoking body (10 and the filter element (20). According to the invention, a flavoring (80) is disposed in or on the tipping paper (30) spaced apart from the second base (26) area in the longitudinal direction and with a distribution that varies in a longitudinal direction (L) of the tipping paper (30), such that the amount and/or type of flavoring (80) contacting a smoker's lips (90) depends on a translational state of the elongated smoking article (100) with respect to the longitudinal direction (L).
Composition for coating a paper wrapper for smoking articles
The present invention relates to a composition for coating paper wrapper for smoking articles, which comprises a combination of gum arabic, preferably between 40% and 95% by weight with respect to the total dry material weight of the composition, and a filler that comprises calcium carbonate, preferably in an amount of at least 5% by weight with respect to the dry material weight of the composition, alone or in combination with other substances such as, for example, kaolin, calcium sulphate, titanium dioxide and mixtures thereof, and to the use thereof for producing a paper wrapper for smoking articles.
Wrapper For Aerosol Delivery Products and Aerosol Delivery Products Made Therefrom
A wrapper well suited for use in aerosol delivery products, such as heat but not burn sticks is disclosed. The wrapper includes a base web made from cellulosic fibers combined with filler particles. The base web can be coated on at least one side with a permeability reducing composition and/or treated with a flame retardant salt. The base web is constructed with a basis weight, bulk, and permeability so as to produce aerosol delivery sticks with low combustion characteristics.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH LAMINATED WRAPPER
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-forming substrate including plant material cut filler and between about 6 percent and about 20 percent of an aerosol-former, the plant material cut filler including at least 25 percent of plant lamina per weight of total plant material; and a laminated wrapper including a heat conductive layer and a heat insulating layer, the laminated wrapper being arranged at least partly wrapped around the aerosol-forming substrate and having a thickness of between 30 micrometers and 100 micrometers, and the heat conductive layer and the heat insulating layer overlapping along an axial direction of the aerosol-generating article.
