Subsea Pig Launchers
A compact subsea pig launcher comprises a tubular magazine for holding a plurality of pipeline pigs in longitudinal succession ready for launching successively into a subsea pipeline. The magazine is shaped to define at least one turn such as a coil around an upright axis. Thus, a series of pigs are stored in longitudinal succession along a path that is curved in plan view around the upright axis. During launching, at least one of the series of pigs is advanced along the path with angular movement around the upright axis.
Cleaning apparatus for concentration controller of coating machine
A cleaning apparatus for concentration controller of coating machine may include a pulse bubble generator and a container used for cleaning a concentration controller of a coating machine and a tube thereof. The pulse bubble generator has a bubble-generating end connected to the container through a pipe, and the container is filled with a plentiful detergent. The pulse bubble generator is configured to pump air into the detergent with a pulse per time, and a large amount of detergent bubbles are adapted to be generated in the container. The detergent bubbles are configured to be pumped by the concentration controller into the tube and the concentration controller so as to complete cleaning effect of the tube and the concentration controller.
Conduit cleaning article
A conduit cleaning device is provided and includes a center structure having a center structure wall, a center structure top and a center structure bottom, wherein the center structure wall and center structure top define a center structure cavity and a center structure opening communicated with the center structure cavity. Additionally, a plurality of outer structures is provided, wherein the plurality of outer structures are associated with the center structure wall to extend out of and away from an outer surface of the center structure wall, wherein the plurality of outer structures are disposed in an inclined fashion between the center structure bottom and the center structure top and arranged along the outer surface of the center structure wall to form a helical pattern.
Conduit pig
An annular seal for a conduit pig includes an annular diaphragm and a separate lead support structure. The annular diaphragm is devoid of internal supports and therefore quite flexible. However, the lead support structure supports the annular diaphragm such that a piston effect can be generated through the annular seal. A brush portion for a conduit pig may include forwardly raked bristles.
Multi-diameter foam pig
Embodiments of a multi-diameter foam pig include a first set of radially spaced-apart, longitudinally extending, slots located toward a nose end of the pig and a second set of radially spaced-apart, longitudinally extending, slots located toward a tail end. Each set of slots ends at a band section of the pig so that, together, the two sets of slots do not traverse the entire length of the pig. A standard-length unit version of the foam pig includes only the first set of slots. A set of shorter, intermediate slots, offset in a circumferential direction from the first and second set of slots and partially overlapping those slots, may be included on the band section. Because of the slots, and because of open cell foam, the foam pig decreases or increases in diameter as it enters a different diameter run than the run just traveled.
Systems, devices, and/or methods for improved material efficiency and fabrication of modular pipeline pigs
Certain exemplary embodiments comprise a seal assembly, a mandrel, a front module, and/or a rear module. At least one of the front module and the rear module comprises a mount hub, a seal assembly, a chassis, and/or a mount plate. Various annular sealing assemblies can be mounted and dismounted to and from the mount hub. The mount hub can provide substantial central support for the sealing system. The chassis can be constructed to couple the mount hub to the seal element. The mount plate can be constructed to couple the module to the mandrel. The modular pipeline pig is substantially modular. Certain exemplary embodiments provide for relatively rapid mounting and dismounting of elements to and from the module assembly. In practice, such embodiments allow for quickly and easily configuring a pigging system for many different applications.
PIPELINE SYSTEM
A pipeline system may have a pipeline that is connected to at least a pig selector with the pig selector concurrently housing multiple different pigs in separate pig chambers. A pig loader can be positioned proximal the pig selector and configured to load a pig from a pig chamber of the pig selector into a launch pipe connected to the pipeline.
COMMERCIAL VACUUM HOSE CLEARING APPARATUS
A hose clearing apparatus has a cylindrical body, a fluid coupler on the rear side, and a fluid nozzle on the front side. A method of clearing a hose involves coupling a fluid to the fluid coupler, adjusting the fluid nozzle to achieve the desired spray, powering on the vacuum with the hose coupled thereto, inserting the front of the body and accompanying nozzle into the hose, and allowing the hose to traverse through the hose.
Intra-pipe turbine blast system
The object of the invention is to provide a device which can, with high efficiency, polish and clean the inner surface of a pipe, dry the wet inner surface of the pipe, and perform coating, wherein the device does not require a large pump or a large motive force, and does not require a blast hose or a suction hose. More specifically, provided is an intra-pipe turbine blast system that moves along the inside of a pipe and performs work by spraying a fluid toward the inside of the pipe, wherein: a gas injected from a fluid supply device to the upstream-side end inside the pipe imparts speed to a mixed phase fluid consisting of a liquid and solid particles which are likewise injected into the pipe; the flow speed of the mixed phase fluid is set to 3 m per second which is the critical speed at which solid particles can float without precipitating in the liquid, and as a result of such setting, there is a great effect on reducing the energy required for causing the mixed phase fluid to move; and the mixed phase fluid with such setting is injected at a high speed from a rotation nozzle of a turbine crawler which moves inside the pipe, thereby polishing the inner surface of the pipe, and following the polishing work, the turbine crawler can clean, dry and coat the inner surface of the pipe.
