A product and method of making thereof for the consumption of smokable substances such as tobacco or herbs. The product is comprised of smokable substances such as smokable herbs, plants, tobacco, homogenized tobacco and/or natural leaf materials and has a hollow conical shape that allows for the easy insertion of smokable substances. Additionally, the conical or frustoconical shape of the product provides for larger amounts of smokable substances in the end of the product the consumer lights, resulting in an initial slower prolonged burn and more even distribution of nicotine. Additionally, placement of a supporting insert into the interior of the product supports the conical shaped of the product when packaged along with supporting during the process of being filled.

An antimicrobial smoking apparatus provides protection against germ transfer and also adds stature to the user. The antimicrobial smoking apparatus includes a pre-rolled smoking paper, a filter tip, and at least one metal sheet. The pre-rolled smoking paper provides a means to hold a smoking substance. The filter tip provides a mouthpiece for the user to breathe in the resulting smoke after the smoking substance is burned. The at least one metal sheet is used to cover the filter tip and part of the pre-rolled smoking paper in order to provide protection against germ transfer when one or more individual places his or her lips on the filter tip. Additionally, the covering of the filter tip and part of the pre-rolled smoking paper with the at least one metal sheet adds stature to the individual using the antimicrobial smoking apparatus.

A smoking article includes a medium accommodation portion filled with a plurality of tobacco sheets, a moisturizer accommodation portion disposed on one side of the medium accommodation portion and including an aerosol generating material, and a filter portion disposed on another side of the medium accommodation portion. A wrapper to wrap the medium accommodation portion may be three-ply paper containing aluminum.

A filter included in an aerosol-generating article, according to embodiments, includes a first filter segment including a first filter element in which at least one heterogeneous material particle is contained, a second filter segment including a second filter element, and a wrapper wrapping the first filter segment and the second filter segment, wherein the first filter segment and the second filter segment are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the filter, and the first filter segment and the second filter segment are not physically separated.

A filter segment may include an outer portion including a filter, and an inner portion disposed inside the outer portion and including an airflow barrier surrounded by the filter and configured to retard or block airflow.

A component for an article for use in or as a combustible aerosol provision system includes a body of material extending in a longitudinal direction, where the body of material comprises sheet material having fibres having a length in the range 2 mm to 6 mm. The body of material can have a density in the range between about 0.1 and 0.25 mg/mm3. An article for use in or as a combustible aerosol provision system is also provided including an aerosol generating material and a downstream portion downstream of the aerosol generating material, the downstream portion including the component. A combustible aerosol provision system and a method for forming a component for an article for use in a combustible aerosol provision system are also described.

An aerosol-generating article according to one aspect of the present disclosure may include a tobacco medium portion and a filter portion coupled to a side of the tobacco medium portion and cooling and filtering an aerosol delivered from the tobacco medium portion. The filter portion may include a first filter segment disposed to be spaced apart from the tobacco medium portion and filtering the aerosol, an inner wrapper surrounding the first filter segment and extending toward the tobacco medium portion, and a second filter segment surrounded by the tobacco medium portion, the first filter segment, and the inner wrapper so as to have a space therein.

An aerosol-generating article according to one aspect of the present disclosure may include a tobacco medium portion, a filter portion disposed to be spaced apart from the tobacco medium portion, a wrapper surrounding the tobacco medium portion and the filter portion, and a cooling portion surrounded by the tobacco medium portion, the filter portion, and the wrapper so as to have a space therein.

An article for use as or as part of a non-combustible aerosol provision system includes an aerosol generating material including at least one aerosol forming material, a hollow tubular member disposed downstream of the aerosol generating material, a first substantially cylindrical body disposed downstream of the hollow tubular body and a second substantially cylindrical body adjacent to and downstream of the first substantially cylindrical body, the second substantially cylindrical body being disposed at the mouth end of the article. A method of forming an article and a non-combustible aerosol provision system including the article are also provided.

Provided are therapeutic products in a form of individual doses for consumption by users. A therapeutic product includes a therapeutic portion and a package. The therapeutic portion includes one or more parts of a plant and may be compressed and formed into an individual dose. The therapeutic product further includes a fibrous portion that includes one or more further parts of the plant. The fibrous portion is structurally attached to the therapeutic portion to form the individual dose of the therapeutic product. The package accommodates the therapeutic portion and the fibrous portion acting as a structural substrate, or the therapeutic portion alone without the fibrous portion.
