An article for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system comprising an aerosol generating material comprising at least one aerosol forming material and a mouthpiece connected to the aerosol generating material, the mouthpiece comprising an upstream end adjacent to the aerosol generating material and a downstream end distal from the aerosol generating material, wherein the mouthpiece comprises a hollow tubular element formed from filamentary tow at the downstream end of the mouthpiece. There is also provided a system including the article and a non-combustible aerosol provision device for heating the aerosol generating material of the article, and a method of manufacturing articles for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system.

A smoking article is described in which the smoking article comprises tobacco material wrapped in a paper wrapper to form a tobacco rod, and wherein the paper wrapper has a diffusivity of between about 0.1 cm/s and 0.5 cm/s and a permeability of less than about 15 CU, and a method of manufacturing the smoking article is described.

A component for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system has an inner channel, at least one outer channel and at least one ventilation area arranged to allow external air to flow into the at least one outer channel. There is also provided an article for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device, the article including an aerosol generating material comprising at least one aerosol forming material and a component. A method of manufacture is also provided.

A smoking article comprises a tobacco rod and a filter connected to the tobacco rod. The filter comprises a first filter segment and a hollow tube segment downstream of the first filter segment. The hollow tube segment defines a cavity at the mouth end of the filter providing an unrestricted flow channel that extends from the downstream end of the first filter segment to the mouth end of the filter. The length of the hollow tube segment is at least about 25 percent of the overall filter length. Further, the smoking article comprises a ventilation zone comprising at least one circumferential row of perforations provided at a location around the first filter segment.
