The FRP member has an average flexural modulus of greater than or equal to 25 GPa. The fiber may contain a carbon fiber. The carbon fiber may have a tensile elastic modulus of greater than or equal to 300 GPa. The fiber may contain a metallic fiber. The FRP member may have a resin content of less than or equal to 40% by weight. The matrix resin may have a glass transition temperature of higher than or equal to 150 C.
Method for assembling tubular joining sleeve and a conduit lining tube by laser welding
The present invention relates to a method and to a device for assembling together two tubes (1, 2) comprising a tubular junction sleeve and an internal pipe liner tube made of thermoplastic materials by laser welding two contact surfaces of revolution (1-1, 2-1) pressed one against the other at the ends of the tubular sleeve of said liner tube overlapping coaxially.
FILTRATION DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a filtration device comprising a plurality of hollow fiber membranes, a process for its production, and its use for the dead-end filtration of infusion liquids.
Welding promoting element for a closure of an opening device
A welding promoting element for an opening device is insertable into a lid (25) of said opening device to connect said lid (25) to a closing element (10) closing a pouring opening (14) of said opening device; the welding promoting element comprises a sheet element (31) provided with a layer (32) of electrically conductive material, with a first layer (33) of heat-sealable plastic material and with a second layer (34) of heat-sealable plastic material arranged on opposite sides of said layer (32), said layer (32) having a thickness comprised in the range 5-15 m and each of said first layer (33) and second layer (34) having a thickness comprised in the range 10-50 m.
Bonded structure
A bonded structure is disclosed which includes a pair of members facing with each other, and a protrusion integrally formed on at least one of the members, the protrusion protruding toward another one of the members, having a predetermined height, and abutting on the another one of the members to provide a gap holding an adhesive between facing surfaces of a pair of the members to adhere and fix the members and to have a thickness of the adhesive determined by the predetermined height.
Process for the manufacture of an impermeable connection between at least two fluid carrying silicone hose components and a fluid carrying assembly manufactured according to said process
In a process for the manufacture of an impermeable connection between at least two fluid carrying silicone hose components, the silicone hose components and a silicone connector component are first prepared. Afterwards a fluid silicone mass is applied to at least one connecting area where the silicone hose components abut on the silicone connector components. The at least one connecting area is post cured to harden the silicone mass. In a fluid carrying assembly with at least two fluid carrying silicone hose components and at least one silicone connector component, a fluid carrying connection is manufactured between these components by means of this process. This design results in a connecting technique that is, on the one hand, secure and, on the other hand, enables automation of the manufacture of an impermeable connection and thus of the fluid carrying assembly.
Pipe, pipe connection and pipeline system
A pipeline system is enclosed including unlined or plastic lined pipes. A mechanical metal to metal connection is employed that can provide a fluid tight seal. A pipe coupling may be employed to span the connection. Plastic lined pipes can have their plastic liners connected to form a fluid tight bladder. Electro fusion may be employed.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HOLLOW COMPOSITE STRUCTURE
A method of manufacturing a hollow composite structure is provided. The method includes forming a first portion of the hollow composite structure having at least one open region and at least one wall, the at least one wall partially defining a hollow interior. The method also includes bonding a laminate shell to the first portion of the hollow composite structure proximate to at least one location of the wall to cover the open region and enclose the hollow interior. The method further includes disposing a second portion of the hollow composite structure over the laminate shell, the second portion comprising a plurality of plies. The method yet further includes curing the first portion and the second portion during a final cure.
CYLINDRICAL MEMBER AND STRUCTURE USING CYLINDRICAL MEMBER
There is provided with a cylindrical member that can be easily increased in size. The cylindrical member comprises a first cylindrical member that is constituted by a cylindrical fiber reinforced plastic member that has a first metal film on a surface thereof and a second cylindrical member that is constituted by a cylindrical fiber reinforced plastic member that has a second metal film on a surface thereof. The first metal film and the second metal film are joined to each other. The first metal film and the second metal film may be welded to each other. A joining member may pass through a first metal film and a second metal film.
SOFT PACKAGE WITH STRENGTHENED HOT PRESSING TRACES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A soft package with strengthened hot pressing traces includes a first side wall and a second side wall formed with a folded portion along a folding line and the distal edge of the second side wall is securely adhered to that of the first side wall except of the folding line and the distal edge of the folded portion. A top wall is divided into a first portion and a second portion, wherein a distal edge of the first portion of the top wall is securely adhered to that of the folded portion and a distal edge of the second portion is securely adhered to that of a top portion of the first side wall to form a bag structure. Two strengthened pressing traces are formed on two opposite sides of the top wall. A nozzle is mounted onto the top wall and outwardly extending through the top wall.
