Printhead assembly guidance and positioning system
A single pass inkjet printer that utilizes a modular printing system with one or more self-contained printing modules, where each printing module is easy to remove and replace from a large printing machine, thus resulting in an overall system that is easy to service and maintain Each module is a self-contained printer including an ink supply, printhead drive electronics, and printhead assembly in order to provide one color or fluid of inkjet printing capability. Each module includes a precise three-point compliant self-aligning mount system to obtain accurate printhead positioning, and a unique integrated printhead tending system that includes a compact movable vacuum knife for cleaning the printheads, and a printhead capping station for sealing and protecting the printheads from the ambient environment when not in use.
Facility for applying a coating product and method for cleaning such a facility
A facility for applying a coating product including a set of printing nozzles, each nozzle including an outlet channel emerging in the downstream direction by a coating product discharge orifice, the facility further including a cleaning station for at least one nozzle of the set of printing nozzles, the station including at least one cleaning fluid injector in the outlet channel of the printing nozzle, through its discharge orifice.
Recording apparatus, control method, and storage medium
A recording apparatus including: a recording head that includes an ejection component that ejects a liquid; a circulation unit configured to perform a circulation operation of circulating the liquid in a circulation route including the recording head; a cleaning mechanism that performs a cleaning process with respect to the recording head; and a preliminary ejection unit configured to perform a preliminary ejection operation of preliminarily ejecting the liquid from the ejection component. The cleaning mechanism performs the cleaning process in a state in which circulation of the liquid is stopped, and at least one of the circulation operation by the circulation unit and the preliminary ejection operation by the preliminary ejection unit is performed after the cleaning process.
Recording head cleaning device, recording head cleaning method, and recording device
Provided is a recording head cleaning device, a recording head cleaning method, and a recording device, with which a cleaning liquid from a nozzle is prevented from being mixed and a nozzle surface is cleaned. The problem is solved with a recording head cleaning device including a cleaning liquid holding unit that has a cleaning liquid holding surface, a cleaning liquid applying portion that applies a cleaning liquid to the cleaning liquid holding surface, a cleaning unit that cleans a nozzle surface of a recording head, in which a nozzle jetting an ink is disposed, with the cleaning liquid held by the cleaning liquid holding surface by making the cleaning liquid holding surface and the nozzle surface face each other, the nozzle surface with the cleaning liquid held by the cleaning liquid holding surface, and a back pressure control unit that sets a back pressure of the nozzle in a case of cleaning the nozzle surface to −800 pascals to −200 pascals.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS AND RECOVERY METHOD
Provided are an inkjet printing apparatus and a recovery method capable of suppressing ink thickening in the ejection openings in the suction process for the ejection openings. A vacuum wiper is moved being in contact with the ejection opening surface of the print head to perform a vacuum wiping process for the arrayed ejection openings sequentially. Ink is circulated in flow paths including the flow paths communicating with the ejection openings for which the vacuum wiping process has been finished.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including: a head including a nozzle surface; a wiper including a blade and a blade holder; a posture changer configured to change a posture of the blade to a first posture in which the blade makes contact with the nozzle surface and to a second posture which is different from the first posture; and a cleaner including a cleaning surface intersecting the nozzle surface. The blade in the first posture is configured to move in a first sliding direction relatively with respect to the head in a state in which the blade makes contact with the nozzle surface. The blade in the second posture is configured to move in a second sliding direction intersecting the first sliding direction relatively with respect to the cleaner in a state in which the blade makes contact with the cleaning surface.
Printing press
A printing press includes at least one printing unit having at least one nozzle bar with at least two print heads and at least one cleaning device. Each nozzle bar is assigned at least one cleaning device. The at least one cleaning device includes at least one cleaning element. The at least one cleaning element is arranged to be movable in, and counter to a cleaning direction. The at least one cleaning element has at least one fluid infeed opening and at least one fluid discharge and at least one fluid extraction device.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a print head provided with a discharge port that discharges liquid and a pressure chamber filled with the liquid to be discharged from the discharge port, and configured to perform a printing operation by discharging the liquid from the discharge port based on print data, includes a circulation unit that performs circulation of the liquid in a circulation passage including the pressure chamber in a state where the printing operation is performed, and includes a control unit that controls the circulation unit to continue the circulation for a predetermined time after the printing operation is completed.
MOBILE PRINTHEAD CLEANER FOR PRINT MODULE
Printing apparatus
A printer includes a line head and a wiper unit. The line head is provided to be movable between a recording position and a retreat position and performs recording on a medium by ejecting ink from an ejection surface at the recording position. The wiper unit is provided to be movable, in the Y direction, between a maintenance position at which a maintenance operation is able to be performed and a non-maintenance position away from the maintenance position. A permitting section is formed in the wiper unit. The permitting section permits a portion of the line head to move in a direction intersecting the Y direction in a state in which the wiper unit is at the non-maintenance position.
