INK FILL DEVICE, INK FILLING METHOD, INK CARTRIDGE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND INK CARTRIDGE
A joint section of a fill device is coupled to a supply opening of an ink cartridge, and a pressing force section presses an inside plug of the ink cartridge into the supply opening, to press down the inside plug against a biasing unit and release an opening to connect an ink fill section with an ink container. A first pump is operated and fills ink to the inside of the ink container. After the filling, the joint section separates from the supply opening, and the inside plug seals the supply opening by the biasing unit. Ink is filled with no spilling, into the ink container having an ink supply section with valve, and the ink cartridge can be manufactured with good efficiency.

Replenishment container and inkjet recording device comprising same
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a replenishment container and an inkjet recording device that are capable of reducing staining by ink or a solvent during ink or solvent replenishing. The replenishment container comprises a storage member having an opening formed therein and having a storage chamber that stores ink or solvent, a stopper member that seals the opening of the storage member, and a lid member that covers the stopper member. The replenishment container is characterized by: comprising a seal member that has a throughhole between the stopper member and the lid member; the lid member having a throughhole that is opened concentrically with the throughhole of the seal member; and the inner diameter of part or all of the throughhole in the seal member being smaller than the inner diameter of the throughhole in the lid member.
Cartridge-type inkjet recording device
The objective of the present invention is to provide a cartridge-type inkjet recording device that can accurately and easily connect a cartridge-type replenishing liquid bottle to an inkjet recording device. This cartridge-type inkjet recording device having a liquid reservoir to which a replenishing liquid bottle can be attached/removed is characterized by the liquid reservoir having: a liquid replenishment opening for replenishing liquid from the cartridge-type replenishing liquid bottle; a cam that is provided to the periphery of the liquid replenishment opening, engages a portion of the cartridge-type replenishing liquid bottle, and moves the cartridge-type replenishing liquid bottle in the vertical direction; and a cam operation section that operates the cam.

An inkjet recording apparatus includes a first ink tank that contains ink, a second ink tank that contains ink supplied from the first ink tank, a communication unit, having conductivity, communicates between the first ink tank and the second ink tank, an opening provided at one end of the communication unit connected to the second ink tank and opening to the second ink tank, an electrode portion provided in the second ink tank, of which a lower end position is located at or above a lower end position of the one end of the communication unit and at or below a highest position of the opening, and a detecting unit that detects an ink amount in the second ink tank in accordance with electrical properties between the electrode portion and the communication unit.

Inkjet printing module (1) capable of being picked up by the arm (111) of a robot (101), characterized in that said module includes: a print head (2); an ink reservoir (3) capable of supplying ink to said print head (2); compressed-gas supply means (4) capable of suppling compressed gas to said print head (2); a mechanical interface (7) capable of engaging removably with a complementary mechanical interface (107) of a robot arm; an electronic interface (6) capable of engaging removably with an electronic interface (106) of said robot arm in order to transfer data between said module and the robot; and at least one fluid interface (5) placed in fluid communication with the compressed-gas supply means or with the ink reservoir.
LIQUID CONTAINER, LIQUID JET APPARATUS
Provided is a liquid container and a liquid jet apparatus to which liquid liquid inlet portion can be supplied stably. The liquid container includes: a liquid containing chamber; an air communication portion connecting an air introduction port for introducing air into the liquid containing chamber with an air exposing port; a liquid inlet portion; and a liquid discharging portion configured to discharge the liquid to the liquid ejection head. The liquid containing chamber has a viewing portion that makes it possible to view a liquid surface from outside, and a lower limit display portion that serves as a reference for replenishing the liquid in the liquid containing chamber. The air introduction port is located at a position that is lower than the lower end of the inlet opening, is lower than a position of the end surface of a nozzle, and is higher than a position of the lower limit display portion.
RECIRCULATIONS USING TWO PUMPS
A method of recirculating printing fluid that includes with a first pump upstream of an internal reservoir, pumping printing fluid into the reservoir and with a second pump downstream of the internal reservoir and upstream of a pen assembly, pumping printing fluid from the reservoir.
PRINT DEVICE FUNCTIONALITIES
A print device may include a refill interface, a processor, and a computer readable medium. The refill interface may have an electrical interface for transmission and reception of signals between the print device and a refill container. And the computer-readable medium may have instructions stored thereon that when executed by the processor are to cause the processor to fetch signals, via the electrical interface of the refill interface, from the refill container indicative of a licensed print functionality of the print device. The instructions may also be to enable the licensed print functionality on the print device responsive to the fetched signals and to maintain the licensed print functionality enabled subsequent to detachment of the refill container.
