LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE
Aspects of a disclosure relates to a liquid discharge device enables previously disabled liquid discharge through a head after a cartridge including a first liquid chamber is replaced and before the liquid level in a second liquid chamber of a tank reaches a predetermined level or higher. Another aspect of the disclosure relates to a liquid discharge device that deactivates an alarm after a cartridge including a first liquid chamber is replaced and before the liquid level in a second liquid reaches a predetermined level or higher.
Inkjet Ink System for Handling High Solid Particles Loaded Inks
The application describes an ink delivery system for an inkjet printer. The system includes a first ink tank operative to supply ink to at least one inkjet printhead and a second ink tank operative to receive ink flown through at least one printhead and not used by at least one printhead. The ink for printing is drawn by low pressure from a first tank through the printhead to a second ink tank. Each of the ink tanks includes a cylindrical tubular segment and a segment with a frustoconical inner section.
Ink refill container and ink refill system
An ink refill container configured to refill an ink tank with ink and an ink refill system. An ink refill container includes a container main body having an ink chamber; an ink outlet forming portion provided at an edge of the container main body including an ink outlet configured to allow ink to flow out from the ink chamber; a valve provided in ink outlet forming portion and configured to seal the ink outlet in an openable and closable manner; and a positioning structure configured to abut on part of the ink tank and position the valve relative to ink tank when valve is opened. The positioning structure has a positioning surface located on an opposite side to a container main body side where the container main body is located, across the valve and extends in a direction intersecting with a center axis of the ink outlet.
TANK SET AND LIQUID-CONSUMING APPARATUS
A tank set includes: tanks arranged in a predetermined direction, each of the tanks being composed of a casing including: a liquid storage chamber defined by mutually opposing two surfaces and configured to store liquid; an inlet provided to inject the liquid into the liquid storage chamber; and a liquid outflow port through which the liquid flows out from the liquid storage chamber to a liquid-consuming unit. Each of the two surfaces extends in a direction intersecting the predetermined direction, and is at least partially composed of a film.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes a carriage that has a recording head that performs recording on a medium and a plurality of liquid cartridges that house a liquid to be ejected from the recording head, the plurality of liquid cartridges being arranged in a line in a direction that intersects the movement direction of the carriage and being provided with target detection units, and a detector that includes a moving part which moves in a direction that intersects the movement direction of the carriage and that, by the movement of the moving part, detects the residual amount of the liquid between the detector and each of the target detection units of the plurality of the liquid cartridges.
Liquid cartridge
A liquid cartridge includes a first surface and a second surface facing a particular direction, with a liquid outlet through the first surface. A circuit board is mounted on the second surface, and a liquid detection mechanism including a light access portion extends above the second surface further than the circuit board in the particular direction.
Method for controlling light emission of ink cartridge, and ink cartridge
Disclosed is a method and an apparatus for controlling light emission of an ink cartridge. The method includes: an ink cartridge control unit (304), configured to receive a light emitting control instruction from an imaging device main body and identifying the instruction; the ink cartridge control unit (304), configured to control light emission of a light emitting unit (303) of the ink cartridge (10) according to the identified light emitting control instruction and preset control information corresponding to the light emitting control instruction so that the light emitting unit (303) does not emit light at an adjacent position light detection stage but emits light at an facing position light detection stage.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a recording head, an ink tank that is disposed above the recording head, a carriage on which the recording head and the ink tank are mounted, a scanner unit that is attached to the upper portion of the casing via a pivot shaft so as to pivot with respect to the casing and that reads a document placed on the document table, and a panel unit in which the scanner unit is attached to an end portion disposed on the opposite side to the pivot shaft and is configured to tilt between a first orientation and a second orientation closer to the document table than the first orientation, and by pivoting the scanner unit with respect to the casing to expose the ink tank, ink is injected from the refill container into the ink tank and the remaining amount of liquid is viewed.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE HAVING DETECTION MEMBER MOVABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DEFORMATION OF DEFORMABLE MEMBER
A liquid cartridge includes: a cartridge body defining a liquid chamber; a liquid-supply part; a deformable member protruding upward relative to the cartridge body; and a detection member having a detected part. The liquid chamber is configured such that an internal pressure thereof is reduced in accordance with outflow of liquid from the liquid chamber. The deformable member defines an inner space communicating with the liquid chamber, the deformable member being deformable such that a volume of the inner space is reduced in accordance with the reduction in the internal pressure of the liquid chamber. The detected part is movable from a first position to a second position, the detected part at the second position being in contact with the deformable member, the detected part being further movable from the second position to a third position below the second position in accordance with deformation of the deformable member.
TANK AND LIQUID CONSUMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A tank is configured to be installed in a liquid consuming apparatus having a liquid consuming unit. The tank includes: a casing having a first partition wall defining a first storage chamber configured to store liquid and a second partition wall defining a second storage chamber configured to store the liquid. The casing is formed with: an inlet provided to inject the liquid into the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber; a communication port communicating the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber; an atmosphere opening port communicating the second storage chamber and the outside of the tank; and a liquid outflow port through which the liquid stored in the first storage chamber and the second storage chamber flows out toward the liquid consuming unit.
