Liquid absorber, ink absorbing device, and liquid droplet ejection apparatus
A liquid absorber includes a plurality of small parts each including a first layer containing fibers, a second layer containing fibers, and a third layer which contains a water absorbing resin and which is provided between the first layer and the second layer. When the water absorbing resin is measured in accordance with a plastic thermogravimetric measurement method defined by JIS K 7120: 1987 under measurement conditions in which a sample amount is 5 to 15 mg, a temperature increase rate is 10.0 C./min, and a measurement atmosphere is nitrogen, from a TG curve obtained thereby, the ratio of a weight decrease amount of the water absorbing resin at 400 C. with respect to an initial weight thereof is 0.050 to less than 0.500.
LIQUID ABSORBENT BODY, LIQUID ABSORBER, AND LIQUID TREATMENT APPARATUS
A liquid absorbent body according to the present disclosure includes a water absorbent resin and a pulp fiber, in which an evaporation rate of a pure water until elapse of 360 minutes after the pure water is absorbed is 0.0006 g/(cm.sup.2.Math.min) or more and 0.0020 g/(cm.sup.2.Math.min) or less, when the pure water of 20 mL is absorbed into the liquid absorbent body of 2.57 g, under an environment of 60 C. and 20% RH. It is preferable that the liquid absorbent body is configured to include an aggregate of small pieces in which a fiber base material containing the pulp fiber carries the water absorbent resin.
Ink absorbing member accommodation container and ink absorbing structure
An ink absorbing member accommodation container includes: an accommodation container that has an accommodation space for accommodating an ink absorbing member containing water-absorbable resin capable of absorbing ink inside the accommodation container and that includes an inlet port through which the ink flows into the accommodation space; and a flying preventing mechanism that prevents a constituent material of the ink absorbing member from flying from the inlet port to an outside of the accommodation container.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes: a recording unit that performs a recording by ejecting a liquid on a medium; a carriage that includes the recording unit and is movable in a width direction; a casing that has the carriage therein and constitutes an external appearance of the apparatus; an adapter that is mounted on an upper portion of the recording unit and accommodates the liquid to be supplied to the recording unit; at least one liquid accommodating unit that supplies the liquid to the adapter through a tube and includes a filling port into which the liquid can be filled; and a waste liquid receiving unit that receives the liquid discharged as a waste liquid during a maintenance operation of the recording unit, in which the casing has a cover for covering both the liquid accommodating unit and the waste liquid receiving unit.

Ink jet printing apparatus
The ink jet printing apparatus includes: an ink jet head having a nozzle row in which a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink are arranged and a nozzle guard with an opening at a portion corresponding to the nozzle row, provided at a position via a gap with respect to an ink ejection surface of the nozzle row; a sheet shaped absorbing member having a size that covers a range of the opening of the nozzle guard; and a capping unit that presses the absorbing member onto the opening of the nozzle guard.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a waste ink tray, an ink inflow section, an ink detecting section, and a controller. The recording head ejects ink. The waste ink tray recovers the ink. The ink inflow section is located on the waste ink tray. The ink flows into the ink inflow section. The ink detecting section outputs a detection signal indicating whether there is the ink or not. The ink inflow section has a first inflow opening and a second inflow opening. The second inflow opening is located at a position higher than a position of the first inflow opening. The ink detecting section detects whether or not the ink has flown into the second inflow opening. The controller, upon receiving the detection signal, detects that the first inflow opening is clogged.
Waste ink case and printer
A waste ink case includes a container. The container houses an ink absorber that absorbs ink. The container includes an ink introducing port, an exhaust vent, and a partition wall. Through the ink introducing port, the ink is introduced from a print head into the container. Through the exhaust vent, air in the container is exhausted. The partition wall acts as an obstruction between the ink introducing port and the exhaust vent. The ink absorber is provided along a ventilation passage. The ventilation passage is from the ink introducing port to the exhaust vent, detouring around the partition wall.
Liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: an ejection portion that ejects liquid onto a medium; a waste liquid container having a container that is configured to store a waste liquid discharged from the ejection portion; a housing that houses the ejection portion; and a humidity adjustment portion that adjusts humidity inside the housing. The waste liquid container is configured to store moisture discharged from the humidity adjustment portion.
