CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY HAVING RETAINING BRACKETS
A rail assembly includes a track assembly with a retaining lip and a carriage assembly that is received within the track assembly. The carriage assembly includes a body portion, an exterior surface of the body portion, and a retaining bracket fastened to the exterior surface. The retaining bracket extends outwardly from the point at which the retaining bracket is fastened to the exterior surface. The retaining bracket defines a notch that receives the retaining lip of the track assembly.
RAIL ASSEMBLY HAVING A CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY
A rail assembly can include a track assembly, an elongate shaft mounted to the track assembly, and a carriage assembly received within the track assembly. The carriage assembly can include a slider bracket. The slider bracket includes a first ramp portion and a second ramp portion. The first and second ramp portions are disposed on opposite sides of the slider bracket. The first and second ramp portions each define a receiving aperture. The elongate shaft is received through the receiving apertures of the first and second ramp portions.
Track assembly for use in vehicle
A track assembly is provided that includes a track operably coupled with a floor pan. A rail cartridge is slidably coupled with the track. The rail cartridge includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion defines a receiving well. A connection cartridge is operably coupled with a seat base. The connection cartridge includes an interface member and defines a slot. The upper portion of the rail cartridge is received within the slot. The interface member is received within the receiving well of the rail cartridge. A latch mechanism includes a release lever and a tab. The release lever is configured to selectively lower the tab to open the receiving well of the rail cartridge.
Sliding device
Disclosed is one example of a sliding device in which a movable rail can be inhibited from being largely deformed even when a load such as a compressed load acts on the movable rail. The sliding device includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, and a load receiving portion. The fixed rail is configured to be fixed to a vehicle. To the movable rail, the seat body is attachable. The movable rail is slidable with respect to the fixed rail. The load receiving portion extends from a fixed rail side toward a movable rail side. The load receiving portion is configured to receive a load directed from the movable rail toward the fixed rail in conjunction with the movable rail when the load acts on the movable rail.
VEHICLE SEAT MOUNTING SYSTEM
A seat mounting system includes a seat frame having a support surface and first and second side surfaces downwardly extending from opposed sides of the support surface. Mounting members are supported on the first and second side surfaces. The mounting members each include an inner layer, an outer layer, and a deformable core portion disposed therebetween. The mounting members each include a mounting aperture extending through the deformable core portion, such that the deformable core portion surrounds the mounting aperture. A base frame includes a receiving aperture disposed through a body portion of the base frame. The base frame is operably coupled to the seat frame by a fastener received through the receiving aperture of the base frame and further received through the mounting aperture of the mounting member.
Longitudinal adjuster and vehicle seat
A longitudinal adjuster (10) for a vehicle seat (1) includes at least one rail pair (12) with a longitudinal direction (x) relatively sliding and engaging first seat rail (14), for connecting to a seat frame side part (6), and a second seat rail (16), for connecting to a vehicle structure. A first clamping element (20), fastened to the first seat rail and a second clamping element (22), fastened to the second seat rail are usually spaced apart from each other and engage with each other, in response to a defined application of force, for example in the event of a crash. The first clamping element has a connection section (24), which can be connected to a surface (8) of a seat frame side part (6) directed toward the rear. The vehicle seat includes the longitudinal adjuster and a seat frame side part, which is connected to a first seat rail.
Track assembly
A track assembly includes a track, a support member, and/or a lever. The support member may be connected to the lever, and/or the lever may include a rotational axis substantially parallel to the track. The lever may rotation about the rotational axis between a first position and/or a second position. The lever may be configured to engage the track in a longitudinal direction when the lever may be in a first position. The lever may be configured to engage the track in a lateral direction when the lever may be in a second position. The lever may be configured to limit longitudinal movement of the support member along the track. The track may include a longitudinal window that may have a first edge and/or a second edge.
Longitudinal adjuster and vehicle seat
A motor-vehicle seat longitudinal adjuster (10) includes a seat part seat rail (14) and a vehicle structure seat rail (16). The seat rails (14, 16) are slidable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction (x) and engage each other forming an inner channel (18). An anchor (20), fastened to the second seat rail (16), is arranged in the inner channel (18). A reinforcing profiled element (22), fastened to the first seat rail (14), is arranged in the inner channel (18). The reinforcing profiled element (22) and the anchor (20) are spaced apart from each other and engage with each other in response to a defined application of force (a crash). The reinforcing profiled element (22) has a connecting section (24) extending out of the inner channel (18) toward a rear for connection to a rear end surface (8) of a seat frame side part (6).
Assembly group of a vehicle seat comprising
An assembly group of a vehicle seat, comprises a lower guide rail attachable to a vehicle floor and an upper guide rail coupled to the lower guide rail and movable with respect to the lower guide rail along a longitudinal axis, the upper guide rail comprising a top wall and a pair of side walls connected by the top wall. A link arm is pivotably connectable to the upper guide rail for coupling a frame assembly to the upper guide rail. A first fastener for pivotably coupling the link arm to the upper guide rail is disposed between the pair of side walls and being at least partially positioned below a top surface of the top wall.
PIVOTING SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly includes a mounting plate and a base frame rotatable mounted on the mounting plate by a swivel mechanism for swiveling the seat assembly between forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations. A seat portion is operably coupled to the base frame and includes a front edge. The seat portion can be pivoted between use and upright non-use positions. The seat assembly includes a first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the use position and a second rotational footprint that is less than the first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the upright non-use position. The second rotational footprint is intended to accommodate swiveling of the seat assembly between the forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations within a vehicle interior.
