Release latch incorporated into a rear wall of a vehicle such as a truck cab
The present invention discloses a latch for securing a seatback to an elevated rear wall of a vehicle passenger compartment, and in which a striker having a crosswise engaging portion extends rearwardly from the seatback. The latch includes a fixed sector adapted to being mounted to the rear wall. A hook is pivotally supported to the sector, with a slide plate sandwiching the hook between the slide plate and the fixed sector such that upward displacement of the slide plate causes forward pivoting of the hook. Rearward pressing of the seatback and striker causes rearward rotation of the hook to receive the striker, the slide plate being upwardly displaced to cause forward rotation of the hook to disengage the striker.
STRAP INDICATOR
The invention is an indicator means on a strap to provide a means of showing when slack in the strap is removed and/or tension is applied to the strap. The strap is secured with respect to an object at one end and to an anchor point at the other end and the indicator means shows visually that the strap has at least had all slack removed therefrom and where the indicator means is arranged to provide an indication from both sides of the strap to allow a visual indication of tension regardless of which direction the strap extends away from the object.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat shell having a backrest portion and a sidewall protruding forward from the backrest portion and having a first rod inside the seat shell, an adjustable headrest movable along the backrest portion, the headrest being fixedly connected with a second rod and a spacer that are located adjacent to each other, and a child restraining harness having a harness strap, the harness strap wrapping around the first rod and forming two folded strap portions that extend downward from the first rod, one of the two folded strap portions wrapping around the second rod, and the spacer being disposed between the two folded strap portions for preventing a contact between the two folded strap portions.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT WITH ANTI-ROTATION DEVICE
A seat base, for a child safety seat, adapted to be secured with a safety belt of a vehicle, includes a base member configured to be placed on a seat of the vehicle, and a positioning element rigidly attached to the base member. The positioning element extends vertically from the base member. The positioning element comprises an engaging member adapted to engage with the safety belt. The engaging member is coupled to the positioning element above the upper surface of the base member at a distance, and the engaging member is kept by the positioning element at the distance from the base member. The invention further relates to a child safety seat comprising such a seat base.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat is disclosed, wherein the child safety seat comprises:
a base having an attachment point,
a shell having a guiding element mounted on an upper portion of the shell, and
a top tether connected to the attachment point of the base,
wherein the guiding element is configured to abut against and slidably support the top tether when the top tether is secured to an anchoring point of a vehicle.
User-defined stimulation patterns for juvenile products
Systems and methods define a stimulation pattern for a juvenile product utilizing a mobile device that executes a mobile application that is linked to the juvenile product. The method comprises the step of recognizing, by the mobile device when executing the mobile app, the user-defined stimulation pattern for the juvenile product. The stimulation pattern can be a vibration pattern or a motion pattern, and can be detected in a number of different ways by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of determining control signals for the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the user-defined stimulation pattern that is recognized by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of, in response to receiving a command to execute the user-defined stimulation pattern, controlling the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the stored control signals for the user-defined stimulation pattern.
Foldable child car seat provided with a top tether strap
The present disclosure relates to a child car seat this is tethered to an anchor point in a vehicle. The child car seat includes a seat bottom and a foldable seat back.
Child seat anchor including energy absorber
A vehicle seat includes a seatback and a child seat tether anchor supported by the seatback. The child seat tether anchor has a first member fixed to the seatback and a second member rotatably supported by the seatback. One of the first member and the second member defines a cavity with internal threads and the other of the first and second member is received in the cavity and has external threads engaged with the internal threads. A strap is on the second member. An energy absorber is in the cavity. The energy absorber is compressible relative to the first member and the second member.
COVERING FOR A FASTENING DEVICE, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A covering for a fastening device for a child seat on a vehicle seat may be a three-dimensionally shaped lining strip which has at least two passage openings for the fastening device. Furthermore, a vehicle seat may have the covering.
Central-adjust soft-back vehicle seat
A passenger seat is described for use with a vehicle seat and includes, a base, an attachment assembly, a restraint assembly, and a non-rigid back. The base includes a central front opening. The attachment assembly includes a plurality of straps, which are configured to adjustably secure the base to the vehicle seat. The restraint assembly includes a shoulder strap assembly, a crotch strap assembly, and an adjustment strap. The adjustment strap is in communication with the shoulder strap assembly, extending from the shoulder strap assembly through the base and out of the central front opening of the base. The adjustment strap assembly is configured to adjust the shoulder strap assembly in response to translation of the adjustment strap through the central front opening of the base. The back encompasses at least a portion of the restraint assembly and the attachment assembly.
