A vehicle seat having a seat cushion and ottoman pillars attached to the seat cushion, the seat cushion can be formed in a compact manner. The vehicle seat (S) comprises a cushion frame (F1) including a pair of cushion side frames (85), a cushion front member (86) connecting front ends of the cushion side frames with each other and a cushion rear member (87). The cushion front member is provided with a pair of recesses (143) extending in a fore and aft direction, and a pair of pillar support portions (141) extending in the fore and aft direction are received in and bonded to the respective recesses, the ottoman including a pair of ottoman pillars (135) inserted into the respective pillar support portions.
Stowable vehicle seat assembly having a pivot link
A stowable seat assembly having a seat back and a seat bottom. The seat bottom has a seat bottom frame that includes a drive link that is pivotally connected to a front link and the seat back. A pivot link is pivotally connected to the drive link and a side member of the seat bottom frame.
Rear row seat latch assembly with power and manual driven variants
The present invention discloses a seatback latch assembly integrated into an interface between a seatback pivotally supported to a seat bottom. The assembly includes a pair of floor supported stanchions defining a package receiving space therebetween. A seatback sector forms a portion of the seatback and is pivotally secured between the stanchions within the package space for rotation between upright design and forward folded positions. A cam is pivotally supported within the package space between the stanchions and so that an abutment edge of the cam engages a shoulder location of the seatback sector in the upright design position. The cam is influenced to a disengaged position, resulting in rotation of the seatback to the folded position.
SEAT SLIDE MECHANISM
Forward tilting of a seat back and pushing of the seat forward allow fixation between an upper slide and an upper slide rail to be released, thereby allowing the upper slide to reach a tip end position of the upper slide rail. With this structure, a lower lock mechanism releases fixation of a lower slide to a lower slide rail and a vertical slide lock mechanism fixes the upper slide and the lower slide. Further, pushing the seat back toward a seat front side allows the lower slide integrally provided with the upper slide to move to a tip end position of the lower slide rail.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame with an upper subframe pivot. A seat back subframe is pivotably connected to the seat back frame at the upper subframe pivot. An actuation assembly pivotably moves the seat back subframe relative to the seat back frame about the upper subframe pivot, between a seat back subframe design position and a subframe recline position. In the recline position a lower edge of the seat back subframe is positioned outwardly relative to the seat back frame with the seat back subframe pivoted to an angle relative to the seat back frame.
MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION SCOOTER
A scooter includes a front platform and a driver platform rotatably connected to each other and each having a planar surface. Wheels are rotatably connected to the front platform and the driver platform, and a motor is in at least one of the wheels. The front platform and the driver platform are relatively rotatable between a stowed position in which the planar surfaces are in separate planes and a cargo position in which the planar surfaces are coplanar.
Retention mechanism for a forward folding seat assembly
A folding seat assembly for e vehicle includes a folding seat pan that is pivotally mounted to a support surface and includes a mounting aperture disposed therethrough. A seatback is coupled to the support surface and includes an outwardly extending bracket with an upwardly extending engagement feature disposed thereon. An engagement member having a frame portion disposed on a lower surface of the seat pan and first and second sidewalls upwardly extending through the mounting aperture, the sidewalls including opposed inwardly extending tabs for receiving the engagement feature therebetween when the seat pan is in a use position.
INTERMEDIATE REAR ROW SEAT WITH VARIABLE POSITIONS FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a rear row of seats attached to the vehicle body. The rear row of seats includes a first side seat proximate a first side of the vehicle, a second side seat proximate a second side of the vehicle, and an intermediate seat disposed between the first side seat and the second side seat. The intermediate seat has an upright position. The intermediate seat is configured to support an occupant in the upright position. The intermediate seat is supported for movement relative to the vehicle body, the first side seat, and the second side seat while in the upright position. Methods for positioning a rear row of seats are also disclosed.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes: a leg member, attached to a lower end portion of a seat main body movable between use and stowed positions and movable along with a seat main body, and a leg holding member, elastically deformable to hold a holding target portion of the leg member. The leg holding member includes separated first and second portions which are configured to hold the holding target portion having passed through an introduction opening of the leg holding member formed between the first and second portions with the holding target portion interposed between the first and second portions when the leg member moves along with the seat main body moving toward the use position. A deformation amount restriction portion restricts deformation generated when the leg holding member is elastically deformed so that the first and second portions are separated when the holding target portion passes through the introduction opening.
METHOD FOR MOUNTING A BACKREST STRUCTURE OF A VEHICLE REAR SEAT, PIVOT SUPPORT OF A FOLD-OVER BACKREST STRUCTURE OF A VEHICLE REAR SEAT
A method is provided for mounting a backrest structure (1) of a vehicle rear seat. The method includes the following steps: arranging a bearing bush (15) on a cylindrical bearing pin (11) provided in a lower lateral corner segment of a backrest structure (1), inserting the bearing bush (15) into a cut-out (17) of a body-side backrest bearing (2a, 2b), pivoting the backrest structure (1) inserted into the backrest bearing (2a, 2b) forward about a bearing axis (12) of the bearing pin (11) until a blocking segment (22b, 122b) of the bearing bush (15) locks in and/or engages behind a blocking element (22a, 122a) of the backrest bearing (2a, 2b). A pivot support of a fold-over backrest structure (1) of a vehicle rear seat is also provided.
