A facing seats-type automated driving vehicle, including facing seats, a floor deck and a luggage deck. The facing seats includes a front seat assembly having at least a front seat and a front backrest, and a rear seat assembly having at least a rear seat and a rear backrest, the front and rear seat assemblies being disposed to cause the seated passengers to respectively face rearward and forward directions of the vehicle. The floor deck is provided to allow the passengers to rest their feet, the floor deck having no level difference. The luggage deck is for at least one piece of luggage to be placed thereon, and includes a front luggage deck disposed forward of a front end of the floor deck in the forward direction of the vehicle, and a rear luggage deck disposed rearward of a rear end of the floor deck in the rearward direction of the vehicle.

A vehicle seat includes: a leg member, attached to a lower end portion of a seat main body movable between use and stowed positions and movable along with a seat main body, and a leg holding member, elastically deformable to hold a holding target portion of the leg member. The leg holding member includes separated first and second portions which are configured to hold the holding target portion having passed through an introduction opening of the leg holding member formed between the first and second portions with the holding target portion interposed between the first and second portions when the leg member moves along with the seat main body moving toward the use position. A deformation amount restriction portion restricts deformation generated when the leg holding member is elastically deformed so that the first and second portions are separated when the holding target portion passes through the introduction opening.

A vehicular boarding assistance device includes: a slope main body provided in a body of a vehicle so as to project and retract and configured to form a slope by being bridged between the body and a ground surface in a state of projecting from the body; a slope drive source configured to drive the slope main body so as to project and retract; a seat drive source configured to drive at least one of a plurality of seats installed on a floor of the vehicle; and a control unit configured to drive and control the slope drive source such that the slope main body projects and drive and control the seat drive source such that an occupying region of a boarding assistance target moving on the slope and moving to the floor is secured on the floor.

Partition and vehicle seat assembly including the same

A vehicle seat assembly includes a backrest, a seat including a seat surface, and a partition. The seat is movable between a seat folded position in which the seat surface is disposed along a front surface of the backrest and a seat unfolded position in which the seat surface faces up. The partition to be disposed adjacent to a side surface of the backrest includes a fixing portion and a movable portion. The fixing portion includes a base portion that extends along the side surface and a projecting portion projecting from the base portion farther than the front surface. The movable portion is movable between a folded position adjacent to the base portion and the front surface and an unfolded position away from the base portion and the front surface. The movable portion includes an armrest surface that faces up when the movable portion is in the unfolded position.

A vehicle seat of the present disclosure includes a seat cushion; a seatback; a sliding device; a first locking mechanism configured to restrict a sliding movement of a seat main body; a tip-up mechanism configured to rotationally displace the seat cushion upwardly from an occupiable position in conjunction with a frontward rotational movement of the seatback; a second locking mechanism configured to restrict a sliding movement of the seat main body when an elevation angle of the seat cushion exceeds a preset angle, and remove the restriction when the elevation angle is equal to or below a preset removal angle; and a first restrictor configured to restrict the elevation angle from being equal to or below the removal angle when the tip-up mechanism is activated.

RETENTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT

A seating assembly is attached to the floor and includes a seat that is rotationally operable relative to a seatback. A retention device is attached to the seat. When the seat is pivoted upright to a stadium position, the retention device is selectively deployable from a stored position to a cargo storage position that defines an enclosure at least partially defined by the seat and the floor.
