Method for detecting misadjustments of the cut-off line of a headlamp
A method for detecting misadjustments of a headlamp of a vehicle and to a device for this purpose. It is provided that the vehicle is provided with a detector with which at least one light signal of another road user is detected, and wherein the vehicle is equipped with a control unit with which light signal information of the detector is captured and by means of which adjustment information for correcting the misadjustment of the headlamp is output as a function of the captured light signal information.
System and method of controlling a vehicular headlamp for preventing a shadow area
A system and method control a vehicular headlamp for preventing a shadow area between a low beam and a high beam of a headlamp using a camera unit. The method includes periodically determining whether a high beam of the vehicular headlamp is lit or illuminated. Upon determining that the high beam is illuminated, the method includes determining whether a darkness cell is formed in front image data of the vehicle, which is transmitted from a camera unit. Upon determining that the darkness cell is formed, the method includes changing a leveling motor to be directed upward by 1 step and storing a changed number of steps. Upon determining that the darkness cell is not formed, the method includes driving the leveling motor by the pre-stored number of steps.

Rotation adjustment mechanism and headlight device
A rotation adjustment mechanism includes a rotation target module supported by a fixation member to be freely rotatable around a first rotary shaft and an adjustment unit supported by the fixation member and including a slider movable along a slide axis pointing in a direction orthogonal to the first rotary shaft. The adjustment unit is supported to be freely rotatable around a second rotary shaft parallel to the first rotary shaft and provided on the fixation member. The rotation target module includes a connection groove. The fixation member includes a cam member. The cam member has a guide surface in an arc-like shape that maintains constant a rotation angle of a contact point where the connection groove and a projection part of the slider contact each other around the first rotary shaft with respect to a unit movement amount of the slider in a direction parallel to the slide axis.
SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE FOR PROCESSING A MEASUREMENT SIGNAL IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
A signal processing device for processing a measurement signal in a motor vehicle, wherein the measurement signal relates to a measurement variable which can change over time with sequential measurement values, including: a first signal processing unit for calculating the measurement variable which can change over time from the measurement signal; a second signal processing unit for processing the measurement variable which can change over time in order to obtain a processed measurement variable; a third signal processing unit for calculating a change rate of the measurement variable which can change over time, the third signal processing unit being designed to output an additional measurement signal which indicates the change rate; and a communication interface which is designed to combine the processed measurement variable and the additional measurement signal into a composite transmission signal and to transmit the composite transmission signal.
Method and control unit for adjusting a light level of at least one headlamp of a vehicle
A method for adjusting a light-level of at least one headlamp for a vehicle. The method includes a reading in; a determining; an ascertaining; and a providing. In the reading in, a position-signal is read in, which represents the current-position of the vehicle. In the determining, a topography-signal is determined using the position-signal, which represents a stored item of information about a roadway-topography at the current position, especially in the case of a curvature and/or a drop of a roadway. In the ascertaining, an angle of inclination of the headlamp to be adjusted for the optimal illumination of the roadway in front of the vehicle is ascertained using the topography-signal. In the providing, an actuating-signal is provided for an adjustment mechanism of the headlamp using the ascertained-angle of inclination to tilt the headlamp to the ascertained-angle of inclination so that the light level of the headlamp is adjustable.
METHOD AND ELECTROMECHANICAL DEVICE FOR STABILIZING A MOTORCYCLE FRONT LIGHTING
Method and electromechanical device (1) for stabilizing the front lighting of a motorcycle provided with a front lighting device (2). The electromechanical device (1) comprises a sensor set (3) for detecting the lateral tilting angle experienced by the motorcycle on taking a curve and a motor (4) to drive the gear system (8). The gear system (8) forces the lighting device (2) to turn a rotation angle that compensates the lateral tilting experienced by the motorcycle. In this way, by means of the electromechanical device (1) of the invention, an appropriate distribution of the front lighting of the motorcycle is maintained throughout the entire straight-line or curvilinear path, without the need to add additional lighting devices and in accordance with the prevailing regulation regarding front lighting devices.
