WIPER DEVICE
A wiper device including a wiper motor that includes a rotor and a coil to generate a rotating magnetic field, and that causes a wiper blade to perform a wiping operation by rotating the rotor according to the rotating magnetic field, a drive section that drives rotation of the wiper motor by performing current switch-on in the coil so as to generate the rotating magnetic field, and a controller that controls the drive section by a timing for current switch-on in the coil based on at least a rotation position of the rotor.
Control unit for a windscreen wiper system for a rail vehicle and method for operating a windscreen wiper system for a rail vehicle
The invention relates to a control unit for a windscreen wiper system for a rail vehicle, comprising an operating function interface, a sensor interface, a control device, a control output, and a supply voltage terminal. The operating function interface is configured to receive an information via an operating mode of the windshield wiper system. The sensor interface is configured to receive at least one analog and/or digital sensor signal. Utilizing the information, the control device is configured to provide at least one control signal for the windshield wiper system via the operating mode and/or the sensor signal. The control output is configured to emit the at least one control signal. The supply voltage terminal is configured to provide an applied voltage, interfaces, and devices of the control unit, in particular to the control device.
Wiper control apparatus
Turning angles of an output shaft of a wiper motor are detected by a turning angle sensor. In a case in which a wiper switch is switched off, a wiper control circuit performs control to stop a wiper blade at a stowed position, which is a stop reference position, on the basis of a position of the wiper blade calculated from a detected turning angle. If the wiper blade stops at a position that is different from the stop reference position, the wiper control circuit sets this stop position as a new stop reference position. In a case in which the wiper switch is subsequently switched on again, the wiper control circuit performs control to move the wiper blade from the new stop reference position.
VEHICLE WIPER DEVICE
When an operation signal of a view-obstructing material removal mode switch has been detected, a controller controls such that wiping operation is performed while spraying washer fluid toward the opposite side to a movement direction side of a wiper blade, after which a wiping operation in which washer fluid is not sprayed is performed.
VEHICLE WINDOW CLEANING
A system includes a computer including a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to actuate a windshield wiper on a vehicle, collect amplitude data and frequency data from a sound of the windshield wiper, and, upon determining that the amplitude data meets a first predetermined threshold and the frequency data meets a second predetermined threshold, actuate a vehicle component to move the vehicle to a specified location.
CONFIGURABLE VARIABLE SWEEP VARIABLE SPEED WIPER SYSTEM
A configurable windshield wiper system for a variable sweep angle and/or variable sweep speed. The system includes a bidirectional motor, a gearbox, the gearbox having and input shaft operably coupled to the motor and an output shaft; the gear box configured to ratiometrically step down the number of turns at its output shaft relative to its input shaft; a wiper arm for sweeping a surface of a windshield, the wiper arm operably coupled to an output of the gearbox; and a controller in operable communication with the motor, the controller configured to execute an algorithm to control the position and speed of the motor to achieve a configured sweep angle and configured sweep speed for the wiper arm.
Control system and control method of a wiper for a vehicle using the same
Provided are a control system of a wiper for a vehicle and a control method of the wiper for the vehicle using the same, which are capable of extending a life-span of the wiper by controlling a parking position of a unidirectional wiper. The control method includes: counting parking times at a first parking position and a second parking position of the wiper; determining whether the parking time at the first parking position of the wiper exceeds the parking time at the second parking position; and designating a parking position of the wiper according to whether the parking time at the first parking position of the wiper exceeds the parking time at the second parking position.
DYNAMIC POSITION FEEDBACK FOR WIPER CONTROL
In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a system include, a wiper arm configured to sweep along a sweep zone defined between a start position and an end sweep position. A wiper drive shaft is operatively connected at a proximal end to the wiper arm to drive the wiper arm between the start position and the end sweep position. At least an angular encoder is operatively connected to a distal end of the wiper drive shaft configured to record an actual position of the wiper arm. A controller is operatively connected to the encoder to receive positon wiper arm position data therefrom.
WIPER CONTROLLER
A wiper controller includes an acquirer and a determiner. The acquirer acquires a value related to an electric current flowing through a wiper motor driving a wiper reciprocating between a first position and a second position. The determiner determines that a position of the wiper is either the first position or the second position based on a temporal change of the electric current flowing through the wiper motor.
Vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning device and vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning system
A vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning device includes first and second air jetting devices configured to remove adhered material (such as raindrops and mist particles) that has adhered to detector faces of sensors configured to detect information regarding surroundings of a vehicle, and a control ECU configured to operate air pumps of the first and second air jetting devices when a wiper device of the vehicle has been actuated.
