HEATED VEHICLE COWL
20180072129 · 2018-03-15 · ·

A wiper system for vehicles is provided. The system includes a heated wiper blade assembly, a heated cowl assembly and a controller. The controller receives input from one or more sensors or systems and causes a power source to provide, reduce or stop power to heating elements in the blade and/or cowl depending upon sensed conditions. At least some components in the assembly comprise thermally conductive polymers. The system provides surprisingly advantageous results in that it is effective for melting and clearing ice and snow with a lower than expected pull on a power source such as a battery.

A vehicle wiper blade configured to both remove aqueous material from a windshield and additionally provide absorption of any aqueous material remaining during the same movement of the vehicle wiper blade. The vehicle wiper blade includes a body being rectangular in shape wherein the body has a first layer and a second layer. The first layer of the body is manufactured from a flexible rubber material and has a perimeter edge operable to contact the windshield. The second layer of the body is manufactured from an abrasive material and is configured to engage the windshield during the same movement of the vehicle wiper blade. The body is secured to a support arm providing structural support thereof.

Vehicular Side Windows Cleaning System and Method of Use
20250033601 · 2025-01-30 ·

A vehicular side window cleaning system designed to clean the side windows of a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a series of tubes running from the windshield wiper fluid tank or reservoir to the front doors (i.e., driver's side door and passenger's side door), the tubes are connected to a jet spray module with adjustable nozzles embedded inside each door. Upon activation by a control button near the driver's seat, the side windows lower, and water or washer fluid is dispensed from the jets. A high-durability rubber squeegee is mounted on the jet spray module and presses against the window as the window raises, removing water and debris. Excess water is collected in a basin at the bottom of the door and disposed of through an aperture or hose. The system also features a temperature control button for dispensing heated water to enhance cleaning efficiency in cold weather conditions.

WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE ARRANGEMENT

A wiper blade for improved wiping capabilities including: a blade surface; a plurality of micro blades diagonally aligned across the blade surface; and a preset distance between each micro blade. Preferably, wiper blade is 0.5 inches in width and 3 mm in thickness. The micro blades are preferably 3 mm in width and 6mm in length.

WIPER LIP FOR A WINDSHIELD WIPER DEVICE

The invention relates to a wiper lip (20) adapted to a windshield wiper device (20). The windshield wiper device (20) has an elongated, at least partially bendable upper part (10), an elongated, at least partially bendable lower part (12), and a plurality of connection elements (18) for connecting the upper part (10) and the lower part (12). The connection elements (18) are configured to allow a movement of the upper part (10) and of the lower part relative to one another with a movement component along a longitudinal extension (8) of the wiper blade (2). The wiper lip is configured such that the rigidity of the wiper lip in the wiper direction (1) is greater than the rigidity of the wiper lip vertical to the wiping direction.

PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A COATED RUBBER ITEM AND RUBBER ITEM

A window wiper includes an elongated profile of waterproof flexible material having a base extending under weather stripping for a side vehicle window, a support connected along the base to extend above the weather stripping, a cover connected along the support and extending over the base for covering at least some of the weather stripping and a wiper portion connected along the support and having a resilient wiper area for pressing against the window. A length of adhesive tape is connected along the profile and extends over the base for adhering to the weather stripping to fix the window wiper to the weather stripping.

System and Method for Improving Windshield Glare

Described is a wiper blade for a windshield of a vehicle configured to apply a reparative material to a surface of the windshield. The wiper blade having a squeegee and wiping lip. The wiping lip having a coating of the uncured reparative material or receiving a coating of the uncured reparative material from a reservoir coupled to the wiping blade. The wiping blade applying the uncured reparative material to a surface of the windshield by wiping the windshield. The uncured reparative material integrating with and curing on a surface of the windshield to form a cured reparative material. The cured reparative material being configured to fill scratches in a surface of the windshield, thereby reducing glare from the windshield.
