Adapter (126) for a windscreen wiper, particularly a motor vehicle windscreen wiper, the said adapter being intended to connect a wiper blade to a first end piece of a first driving arm of the lateral locking type and secured to a cylindrical rod defining an axis (Y) of articulation of the adapter with respect to the said blade, as well as a substantially U-shaped second end piece of a second driving arm, the said adapter comprising a longitudinal body comprising first and second lateral longitudinal walls (142a, 142b) that are substantially parallel and connected together by a transverse wall (144), the said body comprising at least one through-orifice (156) configured to accommodate the said cylindrical rod, characterized in that it further comprises rotation blocking means (170b) configured to collaborate with the said first end piece in order to secure the latter and the adapter in terms of rotation about the said axis (Y).

A universal wiper base assembly structure includes a fastening base, a rear base, a combination base, and an outer cover. The fastening base includes a main body and a decorative cover. The main body has a coupling hole, an insertion slot, a protruding platform, a positioning protrusion, a first shaft hole, two limiting arc surfaces, and multiple engagement grooves. The decorative cover has a fastening slot. The rear base includes two contact blocks, a top abutting block, and two hooks. The combination base includes two side plates, a connection plate, an open groove and a second shaft hole. The outer cover includes a fastening block, an opening, and a third shaft hole. Accordingly, a variety of wiper driving arms may be positioned to the universal wiper base assembly structure, so as to improve the convenience in assembling and reduce an overall cost.

Adapter for a windscreen wiper (10), in particular a motor vehicle windscreen wiper, said adapter being intended to connect a wiper blade (12) to an end piece (28) of a first driving arm (14), of the laterally locking type that is secured to a cylindrical rod (33) that defines an articulation axis of the adapter with respect to said blade, said adapter comprising a longitudinal body comprising two substantially parallel first longitudinal lateral walls that are connected together by a transverse wall, said body being connected at one longitudinal end to a cowling (46) that has a transverse dimension larger than that of said body, characterized in that said cowling has a transverse orifice configured to receive said cylindrical rod.

Disclosed herein is a device for connecting a wiper blade to a wiper arm in which diversity and convenience of the use may be secured by selectively connecting several types of wiper arms using one adapter and in which a structure may be simplified and coupling strength may be increased using fitting and sliding assembling structures.

The invention relates to an adapter 26 for connecting a wiper blade 12 to a driving arm, the adapter comprising two lateral longitudinal walls 42a, 42b spaced apart from one another so as to form therebetween at least one housing 45 configured in order to receive at least in part a connector 24 of the wiper blade, at least one of the lateral walls 42a, 42b comprising at least one hole 56, said lateral wall 42a, 42b further comprising a bearing means 54, 54a projecting from an external face 75 of the lateral wall 42a, 42b, characterized in that the bearing means 54, 54a is traversed by at least one hole 56, said bearing means 54, 54a being made as one with the external face 75 of the lateral wail 42a, 42b.

A wiper blade connector for connecting a wiper blade to a wiper arm, has: an adaptor secured to an end of the wiper arm; a base secured to the wiper blade; a locking member operatively mounted to one of the adaptor and the base and movable relative to the one of the adaptor and the base between a locked position and an unlocked position, the adaptor secured to the base via the locking member in the locked position, the adaptor detachable from the base in the unlocked position; a user-engageable member operatively connected to the locking member, the user-engageable member movable to move the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position to detach the adaptor from the base.

Disclosed is an adapter assembly coupled to a clamp of the center of a wiper configured by providing an arm-coupling adapter of which the lower part is coupled to a center base cover by a hinge so as to allow the adapter to freely rotate at a predetermined angle, the upper part has a hook arm assembling part, which enables a hook arm bent in a hook shape to be fit-assembled thereto, and the center part has an arm pin assembling groove penetrated in the longitudinal direction; and additionally assembling, at the rear side of the arm-coupling adapter, a rear top clip member for covering a portion of the rear of the adapter and, simultaneously, uniformly pressing the upper part of the arm when the hook arm or a side lock arm is coupled, such that the clip member prevents separation and ensures stable positioning.
