Sensor-cleaning apparatus
An apparatus includes a base, a cylindrical sensor window fixed to the base, and a helical cleaning member movable between a retracted position in the base and an extended position extending around the sensor window. The cleaning member includes an outlet directed at the sensor window when the cleaning member is in the extended position.
Vehicular washing device
A vehicular washing device includes: a nozzle (4); a flow passage forming body (2) of which an internal space is a flow passage of a fluid; and a valve (21) that has a pressing tube part (22) with an axial direction coinciding with a flow direction of the fluid, is elastically deformable in a direction in which the diameter of the pressing tube part changes, and opens and closes the flow passage according to the state of deformation. A first flow passage (2a) and a second flow passage (2b) are formed as the flow passage on opposite sides of the pressing tube part. A shaft (9) with which the pressing tube part is capable of coming into close contact is located inside the valve. The valve deforms elastically according to the magnitude of the pressure of the first flow passage or the pressure of the second flow passage relative to an atmospheric pressure.
TELESCOPIC CLEANING DEVICE FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a telescopic cleaning device intended to spray at least a first fluid and at least a second fluid toward an exterior surface of a motor vehicle's sensor/emitter, the telescopic cleaning device including at least a first distribution orifice for a first fluid and at least a second distribution orifice for a second fluid, the telescopic cleaning device being configured to deploy along a deployment (D) axis where the first distribution orifice and the second distribution orifice are offset from one another along the cleaning device's axis of deployment (D).
CLEANING DEVICE INTENDED FOR SPRAYING AT LEAST ONE FLUID ONTO A SURFACE TO BE CLEANED OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The cleaning device according to the invention comprises at least one fluid inlet and distribution device (D) into which a cleaning fluid and a drying fluid are selectively injected from an inlet nozzle (110, 111) specific to each fluid. Said inlet and distribution device (D) includes separate distribution channels (21, 22) for distributing the cleaning fluid and the drying fluid, respectively, and separate conveying units (112, 114, 21; 113, 22) for conveying each of the fluids from the respective inlet nozzle thereof (110, 111) to the respective distribution channel thereof (21, 22).
VEHICULAR CLEANER SYSTEM AND VEHICLE HAVING VEHICULAR CLEANER SYSTEM
The vehicular cleaner system is provided with: a tank (2) for storing a cleaning fluid; a motor pump (3) for pumping out the cleaning fluid in the tank (2); lighting fixture nozzles (4) for spraying the cleaning fluid toward headlamps (100); sensor nozzles (5) for spraying the cleaning fluid toward on-board sensors (200); a cleaning fluid passage (9) that connects the motor pump (3) to the lighting fixture nozzles (4) and the sensor nozzles (5); and a controller (8) for controlling the spraying of the cleaning fluid.
Systems, apparatus, and methods to remove vehicle sensor debris
Systems, apparatus, and methods to remove vehicle sensor debris are disclosed. A disclosed cleaning assembly for a vehicle includes a track coupled to the vehicle. The cleaning assembly also includes an arm adjustably coupled to the track and having a nozzle positioned on the arm. The arm is moveable, via the track, near an exterior surface of the vehicle that is associated with a vehicle sensor. The cleaning assembly also includes a first motor operatively coupled to the arm configured to move the arm along the track relative to debris positioned on the exterior surface. The cleaning assembly also includes a pump fluidly coupled to the nozzle configured to expel the fluid from the nozzle to remove the debris.
ARTICULATING NOZZLE
This disclosure provides an improved nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a housing having an inlet for directing media (e.g. cleaning fluid) into the housing, and a nozzle core rotatably coupled to the housing. The nozzle core includes a sprayer shaft and a vane coupled thereto. The sprayer shaft defines a peripheral outlet, and is adapted for passage of media from the housing through the outlet. The vane is adapted to receive media from the inlet to rotationally bias the nozzle core in a first direction and radially orient the outlet to an activated position. The nozzle assembly further comprises means for rotationally biasing the nozzle core in a second direction opposite the first to radially orient the outlet to a home position different than the activated position. A system comprising the nozzle assembly, and methods of using each of the same, are also disclosed.
VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle front structure which includes a bracket and a washer. The bracket is disposed between a part of a back surface of a license plate and a front grille. The bracket fastens the license plate to the front grille. The washer moves forward on the back side of the license plate in an area without the bracket in order to clean a sensing surface of a sensor which monitors the front of the vehicle. The bracket includes one or more of supporting portions which protrude on the washer side and support the license plate from the back side of the license plate.
Telescopic cleaning device
A telescopic cleaning device is intended for projecting at least one cleaning and/or drying fluid onto a glass surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, such as an optical surface of an optical sensor of an optical detection system. The cleaning device includes at least one fluid distribution element, rendered movable, along an axis of elongation (X) and at the end of a movable piston between a retracted first position and an extended second position for cleaning and/or drying. The fluid distribution element comprises a distribution bar (4) inside which a fluid distribution channel (56) extends and the distribution bar is equipped with a heating device (60) integrated at least in part into the distribution bar in order to heat the fluid passing through said distribution channel.
