Actuated Sprayer System
This technology relates to system for clearing a sensor cover. The system may include a sprayer, a support, and a positioning device. The sprayer may be mounted to the support and direct a flow of fluid to the sensor cover. The positioning device may be configured to adjust the position of the sprayer on the support. The system may include a nozzle and the nozzle may be positioned to direct the flow of fluid to an area of the sensor cover. The system may include additional sprayers.
WINDSHIELD WIPER APPARATUS
Described is a windshield wiper apparatus that is formed to dispense fluid. The wiper apparatus includes an elongate body member having a length with a sealable channel therein that runs along the length. At least one blade protrudes downward along the length of the elongate body member. Further, a series of holes are formed such they pass from the sealable channel and through the elongate body member proximate the at least one blade. Thus, a fluid passing through the sealable channel is dispensed onto a surface proximate the at least one blade.
RECEIVING/TRANSMITTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Provided is a receiving/transmitting device for vehicle that inhibits applied cleaning liquid from spoiling an outer appearance of a vehicle. A receiving/transmitting device for vehicle of the present invention includes: a receiver/transmitter configured to receive and/or transmit a radio wave; a transmissive cover positioned so as to be fixed relative to the receiver/transmitter; a receiver/transmitter moving unit configured to cause the cover and the receiver/transmitter to reciprocate between a receiving/transmitting position and a cleaning position; and a nozzle device configured to eject cleaning liquid toward the surface of the cover when the receiver/transmitter is at the cleaning position.
Controlled system for wiping and washing a vehicle window, windscreen wiper, windscreen wiper blade and method of equipping a vehicle
The invention proposes a system (10) for wiping a vehicle window (12), comprising: at least one windscreen wiper blade (14) adapted to be driven by a drive arm (16) of the wiper system (10) with alternating movements sweeping at least one portion of the exterior surface of a window to be wiped between two positions at which the sweeping direction is reversed; a device (18) for spraying a liquid onto the exterior surface; a pump for feeding the sprayer device (18) with liquid; a circuit (CP) for controlling the feeding of the sprayer device (18) by the pump (38) as a function of the sweeping direction, characterized in that it includes a sensor (CA) of acceleration of the windscreen wiper that is carried by the windscreen wiper and that is connected to the control circuit (CP) in order to supply to the control circuit (CP) signals representing the value of the acceleration of the windscreen wiper (11).
Device for cleaning an optical sensor of an optical detection system for a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a cleaning device (100) for projecting at least one fluid onto a surface to be cleaned of a motor vehicle, such as an optical sensor of an optical detection system, wherein a mobile piston (3) sliding in a hollow body (1) around a fixed rod extending along a longitudinal axis (X) and carrying at one end a cleaning fluid dispensing element (8, 9) enables the fluid to flow to the dispensing element (8, 9), through passage channels (12) arranged between the piston and the rod and having different axial dimensions.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY WITH MOVABLE NOZZLE
A sensor assembly includes a first sensor window defining a first plane, a second sensor window fixed relative to the first sensor window and defining a second plane different than the first plane, and a nozzle positioned to deliver fluid to the first and second sensor windows. The nozzle is translatable along a first axis, rotatable about the first axis, and rotatable about a second axis transverse to the first axis.
TELESCOPIC WASHING DEVICE
The telescopic washing device comprises first and second telescopic members operable along a first linear path between retracted extended positions parallel to telescopic member longitudinal axis Z; a wiper element coupled to the second telescopic member such that the wiper element is movable according to a second path lying on a plane XY perpendicular to the longitudinal axis Z; a second guiding area associated with first telescopic member or wiper element and according to second path; and a guiding element associated with the other of the first telescopic member or the wiper element to slide to the second guiding area as the first and second telescopic members move to each other. As pressurized fluid is supplied to the first telescopic member, the wiper element is at least rotated according to the second path.
TELESCOPIC VEHICLE SURFACE CLEANING DEVICE
A telescopic vehicle surface cleaning device comprising a washing unit, the washing unit comprising a nozzle carrier housing, a nozzle carrier and at least one fluid nozzle with at least one nozzle aperture, the nozzle carrier being movable relative to the nozzle carrier housing between first and second positions, the first position being a rest position and the second position being an extended position, the device further comprising a heating unit, the heating unit being configured as a heating sub assembly of the device and the heating unit comprising a heating element carrier with an electrically resistive heating element, the heating element carrier being fixed relative to the nozzle carrier housing and being configured such that the heating element is arranged in front of and adjacent to the nozzle aperture in the rest position of the nozzle carrier such that an air gap remains between a heating surface of the heating element and the nozzle aperture.
VEHICLE GRILLE ASSEMBLY
A vehicle grille assembly includes a vehicle grille, a grille badge and a washer assembly. The grille has an interior side and an exterior side. The grille badge is supported on a surface of the exterior side of the grille. The washer assembly is disposed adjacent to the grille badge and has a nozzle being configured to move between a stowed position and an operating position. The nozzle is stowed on the interior side of the vehicle grille in the stowed position. The nozzle is on the exterior side of the vehicle grille in the operating position to dispense cleaning fluid toward the grille badge.
