DISPENSING CAP, INSERTABLE CARTRIDGE, DISPENSING CONTAINER, DISPENSING SYSTEM, AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURE AND USE
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods pertaining to a dispensing container with a dispensing cap, and cartridge are provided herein. In one aspect, a dispensing container includes a bottle with a primary fluid, a dispensing cap with a receptacle; and a cartridge insertable into the receptacle thereof and including a secondary fluid within a cavity of the cartridge, Methods of manufacturing the dispensing container, cap, and cartridge are further provided, as well as methods of using the dispensing cap and container to dispense two different fluids.
MOTOR DRIVEN POUR SPOUT WITH SMART TIMING CONTROLLER
A pour spout for a bottle includes a valve system controlled by a motor to open or close a liquid channel to control timing and/or an amount of liquid dispensed. The pour spout can include a housing with an upper housing portion, a lower housing portion, and a liquid channel extending from the lower housing portion to the upper housing portion. The valve system can include a motor, a valve, and a gear train. The valve can be disposed within the lower housing portion and fluidically coupled to the liquid channel. The valve can be moved (e.g., rotated via the motor and gear train) to open or close the liquid channel. The pour spout can further include seals in the lower housing portion to establish a seal against the housing to prevent liquid leakage.
DISPENSING VALVE
A TPE valve (20, 20A) includes a head (125, 125A) with a central axis (43) and has an interior surface (130, 130A, 132, 132A, 133, 133A), an exterior surface (134, 134A), and at least one self-sealing slit (140, 140A). The valve (20, 20A) includes a peripheral attachment portion (120, 120A) spaced laterally from the head (125, 125A) and an intermediate portion (124, 124A) extending laterally from the head (125, 125A) to the peripheral attachment portion (120, 120A). The intermediate portion (124, 124A) has an interior surface (126, 126A) and an exterior surface (127, 127A). The interior surface (130, 130A, 132, 132A, 133, 133A) of the head (125, 125A) and the interior surface (126,126A) of the intermediate portion (124, 124A) intersect at a first circular line of intersection (150, 150A). The exterior surface (134, 134A) of the head (125, 125A) and the exterior surface (127, 127A) of the intermediate portion (124, 124A) intersect at a second circular line of intersection (154, 154A). The first circular line of intersection (150, 150A) and the second circular line of intersection (150, 150A) are spaced an axial distance no greater than about 0.30 millimeter.
Bottle shaped container
A bottle-shaped container including a neck portion, a body portion, a first recess having a first longitudinal length, and a second recess having a second longitudinal length. A center of the first longitudinal length is aligned with a center of the second longitudinal length. The recesses of the side walls together defining a side grip to allow a user to grasp the container. One side wall is for a thumb of the user, and the other side wall is for up to four fingers, which exclude the thumb, to grasp the bottle in the way that lends itself to the shape of the bottle.
DISCHARGE CAP
The present invention has an object to suppress an external force applied to a container to discharge a content liquid CLq to an appropriate magnitude, to prevent the content liquid CLq discharged from a discharge nozzle 29 from becoming too thick, and to enable the content liquid CLq after discharge to be cut off in an improved manner. A valve part 49 included in a slit valve 7A includes a slit part 49b including slits 55, and an outer circumferential part 49a coupled to a thin-walled tube part 51 (a connecting part). The slit part 49b more easily deforms with a pressure change in the interior space of the container than the outer circumferential part 49a. The slit part 49b deforms in a discharge direction of the content liquid CLq at the time of discharge of the content liquid CLq, and deforms toward a nozzle flow path 29a after the content liquid CLq is discharged.
EASY CLEAN INSULATED CUP WITH A FLIP STRAW AND LID CLOSURE
A removable valve and lid assembly can include a removable valve and a lid. The removable valve can have a pressure valve and a spout. The lid can have a closing structure operable to control access to an opening of the lid and a securing mechanism disposed adjacent to the opening, wherein the securing mechanism is configured to receive and secure the removable valve, and wherein the closing structure includes a protrusion configured to press against the spout of the removable valve when the removable valve is disposed within the opening of the lid and when the closing structure is pressed against the spout. The removable valve and lid assembly can be used to seal a container or bottle.
Dispensable food container
A dispensable food container has a container body having an interior for receipt of dispensable food, and a container lid. The container body has a base and an opening opposite the base, and side walls that are collapsible. The lid has a closed condition in which it closes and seals the opening of the container body and an open condition in which the opening of the container body is exposed for access into the interior. The lid has a dispensing opening which is in communication with the interior of the container body when the lid is in the closed condition. In use, when the lid is in the closed condition, the container body is collapsible by pressure applied to the lid and the base in opposite directions to cause the side walls to collapse and to force dispensable food within the interior of the container body through the dispensing opening.
CONTAINER LID ASSEMBLY WITH LOCKING HANDLE AND ADDITIVE CARTRIDGE CHAMBER
A lid and closure assembly is adapted for use with a drinking container having an internal space configured to hold a base liquid. The lid and closure assembly can accommodate an additive cartridge. A push button latching mechanism enables user release and latching of the closure assembly. A locking mechanism, which may be a pivoting handle, prevents accidental operation of the latching mechanism. The closure can be coupled to the lid base and configured to move from a closed position in which the closure covers an additive cartridge receiving space, and an open position in which the additive cartridge receiving space is not covered. The closure can be configured to accommodate an upper portion of the additive cartridge when the closure is in the closed position.
