A lid for use with a drinking container including a vessel having an internal space to hold a base liquid and an opening to the internal space. The lid has a body with an engagement portion configured to engage with the drinking container at the opening to close the opening, and defines a flowpath from an inlet configured to receive the base liquid from the internal space and an outlet, e.g., so a user can drink the base liquid from the vessel by way of the flowpath. The flowpath can include a cavity configured to receive a cartridge to treat the base liquid that is inserted into the cavity via the outlet, e.g., the cartridge can include an additive such as a flavoring for mixing with the base liquid. The flowpath and cartridge can accommodate drinking from the vessel in an upright position, e.g., such that the inlet of the flowpath is below the outlet. An adjustable length portion may define the inlet of the flowpath and may accommodate differently sized vessels.

A dispensing closure system is provided for a container for housing and dispensing contents. The system includes a closure having a closure body for extending from the container at the container opening and a cap or lid hingedly attached to the closure body. The closure body has a dispensing spout, and the lid includes a projection or spud member. A fitment member is further provided and is operable to communicate with the container and the closure.

A dispensing closure system is provided for a container for housing and dispensing contents. The system includes a closure having a closure body for extending from the container at the container opening and a cap or lid hingedly attached to the closure body. The closure body has a dispensing spout, and the lid includes a projection or spud member. A fitment member is further provided and is operable to communicate with the container and the closure.

A reusable closure is provided. The closure includes a base and a lid, wherein the base comprises a flowable medium dispensing passage extending along the longitudinal length of the base between the first end of the base and a point beyond the second end of the base, wherein, in use, the dispensing passage is adapted to communicate with the dispensing opening of the container. The base comprises first coupling elements adapted to mate with second coupling means forming part of the dispensing channel of the container such that, in use, the reusable container is attached to the container. The base comprises one or more cutting elements configured to break a scaling membrane situated within the opening of the container. Kits and methods for attaching a reusable closure to a dispensing passage of a container are also provided.

A cap of a package is suitable to store and present personal health care products. The cap of the package disclosed herein comprises an information for a receiver which corresponds to the personal health care product and which is recognizable with visual and tactile senses. The information is transferred by a product specific icon which protrudes from an external surface of the cap of the package.

A recloseable lid for closing an open top of a cup terminating in an annular upper edge includes a cup mount defining an annular channel configured to receive the annular upper edge of the cup and a cap having an annular side wall extending upwardly from the cup mount and terminating in a top having an annular floor spaced above the cup mount. A drink opening is disposed in the top and a plug assembly having a drink opening plug is provided. The drink opening plug can be selectively moveable between a closed position in which the drink opening plug is received within the drink opening for closing the drink opening and an open position in which the drink opening plug is not disposed within the drink opening. The lid can also include a plug retainer disposed in the cap and configured to retain the drink opening plug in the open position.
