Devices, systems, and methods for packaging and transport of biological tissue
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a biological tissue packaging system, as well as a transport system, and, in some embodiments, comprises a first package, a secondary package, and a tertiary package. Each of the first, second, and tertiary packages is sterilized prior to packaging of a biological tissue therein. The first package comprises a pouch, and a first tray and a first lid configured for removable snap-fit attachment to one another so as to form a clamshell container. The secondary package is configured to contain the first package and interlock therewith. The tertiary package is configured to contain the secondary package and interlock therewith.
Linkable workstations
Linkable workstations are provided that define a reservoir for containing liquid. The linkable workstations can be nested together in a compact vertical space. The workstations include a plurality of high rim portions and a plurality of low rim portions. The high rim portions on a workstation are configured to overlap a low rim portion of another workstation to link workstations side to side to form custom configurations. The workstations include overflow channels that allow for the sharing of the liquid containing capacity between linked workstations, and which can be selectively sealed to prevent fluid from flowing therethrough.

Container and Lid
A container lid is provided herein having structurally reinforcing ribs therein. The ribs increase the strength of the lid across a central region thereof. Specifically, the lid can have an outer perimeter and the ribs can be spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter. The inwardly spaced ribs can provide a distinct look for consumer differentiation. Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.
Lid for container
A lid for a container is described. The lid has a basin that is designed to enhance the user's olfactory experience when drinking a beverage from the container and lid. As the user tilts the container and lid to take a drink, the beverage pours through an opening on the basin valley and flows across a sipping surface area to the user's mouth, thus allowing the beverage to aerate, evaporate, and cool. The basin is sized and dimensioned to channel and concentrate the vapor rising from the beverage towards the user's nose as the user sips the beverage. The basin and the opening are sized and dimensioned to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when drinking hot beverages. In this manner, the lid enhances the drinker's olfactory experience and provides better controllability of the flow of a hot beverage to prevent burn injuries.
Cup lid
A liquid container includes a brim forming a mouth opening into a product receiving chamber formed in a cup. A lid is coupled to the rim to close the mouth of the cup.
Tamper-Evident Container and Method
A tamper-evident container and method is disclosed. The tamper-evident container includes a base portion and a lid (or cover). In an untampered with state, one edge of the lid is removably connected to one edge of the base portion. Namely, the lid includes a tamper-evident tab, wherein the tamper-evident tab includes a grasping overhanging portion that is flanked by at least one breakable joint and wherein the lid is removably connected to the base portion via the breakable joint of the tamper-evident tab. Further, the tamper-evident container comprises an interlocking interface between the base portion and the lid. A method of using the tamper-evident container is provided.
CLAMSHELL FOOD CONTAINER
A one-piece thermoformed food package comprises a base with a peripheral male rim and, connected to the base by a hinge, a lid having a peripheral female rim channel. The corners of the male rim of the base includes a first set of tabs extending inwardly from the rim towards the interior of the base, and a second set of tabs extending outwardly from the opposite side of the rim towards the exterior of the base. The tabs are configured to engage corresponding hidden recesses formed in the side walls of female rim channel of the lid. A plurality of ridges in the sidewalls increases structural stability, and assists in mating the base with the lid.
SEALED CONTAINER
A sealed container comprises a base and a lid is provided. The lid has a top, a lid sidewall, a lid rim and a lid sealing edge extending outward from said lid rim. The base has a bottom, a base sidewall, a base rim and a base sealing edge extending outward from said base rim. The lid sealing edge and said base sealing edge are molded to mate with each other, and upon mating, the downward bending section attaches to the said downward extending section, and the said barb locks and holds up the base sealing edge forming two seals. The embodiments of the present invention improve the sealing structure of the base and the lid thus enhances the sealing effect of the attaching position and the convenience for opening.
Food Storage Unit
A food storage unit provides a container and a cover which use an interference fit to snap the cover onto the container. The two engage with each other by a first lip (of the container) and a second lip (of the cover). The lips are configured to have an obtuse angle of 95 degrees, helping to create a better fit between the two. The second lip deforms when placed over the first lip; the resulting pressure and friction helps to seal the cover to the container. To help create a more secure attachment, a latching member is connected to the second lip. The latching member is positioned just below the first lip, such that the cover cannot be lifted straight up until a person manually moves the latching member away from the first lip. This helps prevent the cover from accidentally coming loose from the container.
