CLOSURE AND DRAINAGE FOR MOLDED FIBER PACKAGING
Systems and methods for providing compostable food containers, which preserve the quality of a food product for an extended duration of time, and which optionally, allow for cooking of the food product therein. In some implementations, the food containers are sturdy, stackable, insulating, and require minimal or no manual labor to assemble. In some implementations, the food container includes a base and a cover, which cooperate to form a closed chamber for supporting, protecting, insulating and optionally cooking a food product, such as a pizza. The base and cover may each be formed of a single layer of material including, but not limited to, molded sugarcane fiber (bagasse), molded wood fiber, molded bamboo fiber, molded paper or plastic.
Containers Covers and Methods of Using the Same
A cover for a container that includes a lid portion and a collar element. The lid portion having a main body section surrounded by a peripheral sealing shoulder. The collar element having a peripheral collar sealing shoulder that includes a collar groove and wherein the lid portion is connected to the collar portion through a hinge element. The lid portion, collar element and hinge portion are formed as a unitary structure and the lid portion articulates from an open positon in which it is spaced apart from the collar element to a closed position wherein the peripheral bead sealing shoulder of the lid portion engages with the peripheral collar sealing shoulder of the collar element.
TAMPER EVIDENT PLASTIC FOOD CONTAINER
A container includes first and second shells sealingly engageable with each other. Each shell includes a rim, where the rim of each shell includes a rim bead having an inner wall and an outer wall. The inner wall and the outer wall of the rim bead of the second shell frictionally engage the inner wall and the outer wall, respectively, of the rim bead of the first shell to sealingly engage the rims. The container also includes hinge panels each extending outwardly from one of the rims of the first and second shells. The hinge panels are hingedly connected to each another along a hinge line to form a foldable section that includes the hinge panels and the hinge line. The foldable section has a frangible line formed on each of the hinge panels, where the frangible line extends transversely between the hinge panels and transects the hinge line.
Container and lid
A container lid is provided herein having structurally reinforcing ribs therein. The ribs increase the strength of the lid across a central region thereof. Specifically, the lid can have an outer perimeter and the ribs can be spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter. The inwardly spaced ribs can provide a distinct look for consumer differentiation. Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.
PACKAGING BOX
Disclosed is a packaging box including a box body and a box lid, the box lid including a lid body and a first bent portion, the box body having a box opening, the box lid being provided at the box opening, where the box opening is provided with a second bent portion; when the box body and the box lid are closed and looking up the packaging box, a bottom end face of an outer side wall of the first bent portion is invisible; the box lid is provided with a first locked portion, the box body is provided with a second locked portion corresponding to a lower side of the first locked portion; and the lid body is provided with an inspection window. The packaging box solve the problem that the articles in the box would be missing and facilitate the personnel to inspect the articles within the box.
Plastic beer keg
A plastic keg includes a liner including a neck portion and a body portion. A lid having an opening is disposed at least partially over the liner. The liner is disposed in an outer container having a wall with at least one locking rib projecting therefrom. The locking rib angles downward and the lid secured to the outer container by the at least one locking rib. Optionally, a locking ring securing the neck portion of the liner to the lid may be configured to release the liner when the filled keg is dropped.
INJECTION MOLDED LID
An injection molded lid (100) for use with a container, which includes a lid body (110) and a securing member (150). The lid body (110) includes a cover portion (120) and a flange portion(130). One side wall (134) of the flange portion has one or more notches (138). The securing member (150) includes a frame (152) and at least one tab (154). The tab (154) covers the notch. The securing member (150) provides extra fastening strength that prevents the spillage or leakage of the content within the container.
DRINKING CUP STRUCTURE
A drinking cup may include a cup body, and an inverted V-shaped partition separates the cup body from a bottom end thereof to form two symmetrical compartments at both sides of the partition, and the two compartments are connected at top portions to form a top edge which is connected to an inner edge of an opening of the cup body at both ends thereof, thereby separating the opening into two symmetrical portions. A protruding bar slightly protruding along a middle line of the top edge is configured to be melted by a heat press head of a sealing machine when sealing a sealing film on the opening of the cup body. With the two separated compartments, a customer can have two kinds of drinks by only one drinking cup, which is greener and allows the customer to have more choices.
Food Storage Unit
A food storage unit provides a container and a cover which use an interference fit to snap the cover onto the container. The two engage with each other by a first lip (of the container) and a second lip (of the cover). The lips are configured to have an obtuse angle of 95 degrees, helping to create a better fit between the two. The second lip deforms when placed over the first lip; the resulting pressure and friction helps to seal the cover to the container. To help create a more secure attachment, a latching member is connected to the second lip. The latching member is positioned just below the first lip, such that the cover cannot be lifted straight up until a person manually moves the latching member away from the first lip. This helps prevent the cover from accidentally coming loose from the container.
Tamper-evident container and method
A tamper-evident container and method is disclosed. The tamper-evident container includes a base portion and a lid (or cover). In an untampered with state, one edge of the lid is removably connected to one edge of the base portion. Namely, the lid includes a tamper-evident tab, wherein the tamper-evident tab includes a grasping overhanging portion that is flanked by at least one breakable joint and wherein the lid is removably connected to the base portion via the breakable joint of the tamper-evident tab. Further, the tamper-evident container comprises an interlocking interface between the base portion and the lid. A method of using the tamper-evident container is provided.
