Storage tube and cap assembly
A storage tube assembly, with a cap having a top surface and a sealing member connected to the top surface, the sealing member has a generally cylindrical upper wall and a generally cylindrical lower wall, the sealing member also has a recessed portion between the upper wall and lower wall and a flange cut into the lower wall; a sealing ring, the sealing ring is sized to cooperate with and be received in the recessed portion of the sealing member of the cap; and a tube, the tube has a generally circular inner wall with a cut therein, the cut in the inner wall is positioned to receive the sealing ring when the sealing ring is positioned within the recessed portion of the cap and the cap is placed into an open end of the tube.
Lid featuring ease of use and improved release from a tray or container
A lid and tray assembly includes at least two lift tabs and/or indentations at separated but not directly opposing locations about the lid periphery that can be actuated simultaneously or sequentially to provide two distinct locations from which initial disengagements can extend and merge to enable easy removal of the entire lid. Embodiments further include locations that can be pressed while corresponding tabs are lifted. Some embodiments include a peripheral skirt that is short enough to allow a user's fingers to pass beneath and support the tray sidewalls when lifting the tray-lid assembly from a horizontal surface, avoiding any need for the lid engagement to bear the weight of the tray and its contents. Lid-tray engagement can be by means of inserting a lid peripheral rim into a tray lip groove, or by engaging a lid rim undercut with a tray lip undercut.
CHILD RESISTANT AND SENIOR FRIENDLY CAN LID
The present invention is directed to a can lid that is child resistant, and at the same time senior friendly, and can be initially installed on a can to be removed by an adult, especially a senior adult, and be put back on the can in the same condition where a child could still not be able to easily remove it. The child resistant and senior friendly can lid provided has a replaceable can lid and a locking member, such that when a can is initially opened, it may be readily resealed. The child resistant and senior friendly can lid has tapered, smooth sides to make the lid difficult to grasp and a sealing ledge on the inside surface to grab the seam roll of the upper edge of the can. The lid sealing ledge is relieved in two areas ninety degrees apart leaving a ridge to maintain a seal when the lid is attached to a can. The can lid will be flexible enough to bend for removal by seniors but resistant to removal by children.
Spill resistant disposable travel cup lid
A disposable drink-through dome lid for disposable drinking cups used in the sale of hot or cold beverages, the top of the lid elevated above the top of the beverage cup when in place. The lid's outer wall is elevated to form a drink ridge adapted to the user's lips for drinking through a generally oval-shaped drink-through orifice. Ideally, the drink-through orifice includes: a drink-through chamber having a drink flap capable of closing off a drink-through opening, thereby shielding against accidental spillage due to sloshing of the beverage while traveling; and a recessed orifice ridge on the interior side of the drink-through orifice, directs froth exiting the drink opening into a spill reservoir. A vent opening positioned near the lid's center and within a vent slot, collects and directs beverage exiting the vent into the spill reservoir.
DISH WITH LID
A dish with a lid is provided, including a dish body and a lid body, wherein the lid body is disposed on the dish body and snap-fitted with it; the dish body and the lid body form a storage cavity there-between; and the dish body has average heights of 10 to 60 mm; an open edge of the dish body is provided with an inclined folded edge which extends upward; the outer edge of the inclined folded edge is provided with a dish body edge engagement portion; an open edge of the lid body is provided with a horizontal folded edge which horizontally extends outward; the outer edge of the horizontal folded edge is provided with a lid body edge engagement portion matched with the dish body edge engagement portion; and the dish body edge engagement portion is embedded in the lid body edge engagement portion.
Lid having circumferential rim with plurality of ribs
A lid for securing to the brim of a container, the lid including a container closure having a disk shaped member with a periphery for mating with the brim of the container. The periphery includes annular inner and outer side walls with at least one annular rib disposed on each of the inner and outer side walls. The ribs of the annular walls form a gripping area to secure the lid to the container for preventing leaks and accidental spillage. A top wall interconnects the inner and outer side walls and includes visual cues for viewing the brim of the container when the lid is affixed to the brim. The lid additionally includes a pronounced wedge shaped sipping spout projecting upwards from the container closure. The container closure includes a circular indented channel for stacking one lid covered cup over another with additional stability provided by the sipping spout.
COVER, METHOD OF PRODUCING COVER, AND SECONDARY PROCESSING DIE USED FOR PRODUCING COVER
A method of forming an undercut which is engageable with an edge, on a side wall of a cover intermediate body using a cover intermediate body and a secondary processing die. In the secondary processing die, a moving inner core has, on the outer surface thereof, a concave shape corresponding to a convex shape of the inner surface of the undercut. The moving inner core is made up of a plurality of core segments which are arranged along the circumferential direction. Each core segment is vertically movable along an inclined surface of a core. When the moving inner core is moved upward, the moving inner core transforms smaller than the inner diameter of the side wall of a cover. The slide core has, on the inner surface thereof, a convex shape corresponding to the concave shape of the undercut.
A CONTAINER WITH A LID AND A SECURING RING
A container includes a container body and a lid, which has an outer lid wall portion surrounding a central portion. The outer lid wall portion provides a lid-side sealing surface, which engage with body-side sealing surface, when the lid is applied to the container body to close the container. The container further includes a securing ring inserted within the outer lid wall portion. The securing ring having a lower portion and an upper flange portion extending from the lower portion at an acute angle (α) of less than 80° from vertical.
POLYPROPYLENE SHEETS AND ARTICLES
A sheet of polymeric material is made using an extruding process and articles are formed from the sheet of polymeric material. The sheet of polymeric material and the articles comprise one or more polypropylene resins. In some embodiments, the sheet of polymeric material and the articles formed form the sheet of polymeric material are transparent.
Thermoformed Packaging Container with Closure and Release Mechanism
A packaging container includes a base section having a U-shaped perimeter wall and a cover section having a cover outer wall, the cover section adapted to cover the base section when in a closed state. The packaging container includes a closure mechanism including an aperture formed within an outer wall segment of the base section and a projection extending inward from the cover outer wall for engaging the outer aperture of the base section. The closure mechanism retains the cover section over the base section and securing the packaging container in a closed position, wherein an obstructive member obstructs movement of the inner wall segment of the base and prevents the projection from being released from the outer aperture. A release tool is provided for being inserted between the cover outer wall and the base outer wall, wherein the release tool is adapted to move the cover outer wall outwardly to release the projection from the outer aperture, thereby opening the packaging container.
