MULTI-LAYER WEB AND PROCESS FOR FORMING SCORED LIDDING FILM FOR BLISTER PACKAGES
20190263549 · 2019-08-29 ·

Multi-layer web and mechanical scoring process for forming lidding film for push through blister packages. The web is configured to resist the tensile forces encountered during manufacturing processes, including slitting, rewinding and heat sealing processes. A simplified web conversion process for creating mechanically scored lidding film for blister packages is provided at reduced investment and operational costs compared to prior art systems.

A recyclable single-use sachet is provided including an inner envelope, an outer envelope, an organic additive effective to facilitate biodegradation in a biologically active landfill, and a peripheral seal. The outer envelope can be formed from a single, folded, layer of material, or from multiple layers joined together. Likewise, the inner envelope can be formed from one or more layers of material. Systems and methods for manufacturing the single-use recyclable sachet are also provided.

PUSH THROUGH BLISTER PACKAGE WITH PLASTIC LIDDING

Provided is a single material plastic push-through blister pack for food and pharmaceutical packaging and a method of making thereof. The blister package may be produced by thermoforming polymer films for the cavity and a cavitated polymer film made from the same class of polymer comparatively lower thickness for the substrate or lid. To facilitate the push through breaking, the polymer film used as the lidding film may be modified to a microcavitated film by creating micro-voids/cavities and micro-brittleness within the polymer matrix. These micro-voids/cavities, and/or embedded microcrystalline particles present in the polymer matrix of the lidding film, may create internal cracks in the film by application of a small external force, which may then result in rupturing of the lid film to dispense a product from the cavity of the blister pack.

Multi-cavity blister package with individually accessible product windows

A multi-cavity blister package includes a backing card. A transparent, plastic semi-rigid cover sheet co-extensive with the backing card formed with a plurality of raised portions each of which, when secured to the backing card, forms a product receiving cavity or compartment. The plastic covering is secured to the backing card to form a plurality of product receiving cavities. The backing card has perforations proximate to each product-receiving cavity to allow selective perforations to be burst to provide access to an associated cavity without compromising remaining cavities or compartments for future use.

Rupturable substrate

The package supports a plurality of consumable products. The package is a blister package having a plurality of consumable products housed in a blister tray and covered with a rupturable sheet. The sheet overlies the open surfaces of the blister tray and includes rupturable locations formed thereon for permitting passage of the product therethrough.

Child-resistant and senior-friendly eco-friendly pill dispenser blister package

A blister and package system made of a blister card and an outer package with unique interacting locking mechanisms. The blister card or strip is inserted into the outer package or sleeve and locks immediately without having to further process the outer package or the blister card or strip. The user is able to expose the blisters from the outer package by disengaging the lock. The blister card or strip includes a formable, pliable sheet material, into which one or more individual cavities or blisters are formed. The separated cavities are loaded with product and sealed with one or more layers of puncturable or tearable sheet material, such as aluminum foil. The blister card or strip contains a plastic rivet assembly that forms an interference mechanism. The rivet is trapped by an internally formed panel and stopped by a catch flap included in the outer package.

DEVICE FOR THE LIFE-LONG ADMINISTRATION OF VARYING DOSES OF A GEROPROTECTOR AND FOR INCREASING HORMESIS POST-ADAPTATION

The technical result of the invention is structurally creation of a biotechnical system of common blister pack elements consistently providing the drug substance with excellent ways of delivering a solid therapeutic dose orally or a liquid subtherapeutic dose sublingually.

The combination of individual separate delivery routes for solid therapeutic dose orally or a subtherapeutic liquid dose sublingually is a qualitatively new structural pharmacotherapy unit enabling the postadaptation hormesis effect. The advantage of the new drug form is elimination of the pre-systemic metabolism effect in liver with a subtherapeutic dose along with systemic bioavailability enhancement, prevention of drug destruction by chlorobutanol acid in the stomach and by alkaline contents in the intestines, and body resistance improvement.

CHILD RESISTANT BLISTER CARD PACKAGE

The invention relates to novel child-resistant blister card packages for medicaments. The blister card package comprises a rigid container sheet with cavities for containing a medicament and a cover sheet sealed to the container sheet and covering the cavities. The blister card package is detachable into individual sections or units, along lines of perforations. Each individual blister packing unit comprises a tear tab, a fold tab and at least one crease tab. The user operates three-step opening process, namely, tear-fold-tear, to open and access the medicament from the individual blister unit.

TEAR OPENABLE CATHETER ASSEMBLY

A medical device assembly is disclosed, comprising a medical device, such as a urinary catheter, and preferably having a hydrophilic surface coating, and a package forming a closed compartment around the catheter. The package is formed of at least one sheet of tearable material and comprises a first weld extending along a first side in a first direction of the package and a second weld extending along a second side in a second direction of the package. The first and second directions are different and preferably orthogonal to each other. A tear line is provided in the second weld, and arranged to direct a subsequent tear towards the first weld. Further, the first weld is provided with an inward protrusion, protruding inwardly towards the closed compartment, at a distance from the second weld. A corresponding method of production is also disclosed.
