The invention provides a blister package (1) for at least one pharmaceutical or food supplement product of the gum type, comprising a support shell (12) having a flat portion (13) and at least one cavity (14) formed on said flat portion, said at least one cavity being defined by a lateral wall (20) extending from said flat portion and a bottom wall (21) linked to said lateral wall, at least one gum (5) comprising at least one gelling agent and being molded into said at least one cavity, a cover film (16) fixed on said flat portion and closing said at least one cavity, at least one tearing notch (10) formed both on said support shell and cover film, and at least one tearing channel (9) formed at least on said lateral wall and facing said at least one tearing notch, said at least one tearing channel defining a complementary channel shape (23) formed on said molded gum.

A blister pack including a backing and an active layer coextensively attached to the backing. A cover is attached to the layer. The cover forms one or more spaced-apart blisters. Each blister and the layer combine to form a cavity configured to enclose at least one product. The active layer within each blister is embossed to form one or more points of weakness configured to facilitate rupture of the backing and active layer when dispensing a product from the blister.

A package has a plurality of seamless compartments coupled together. A different one of the plurality compartments each includes a different respective one of a plurality of respective void spaces and a different respective one of a plurality of respective void space delimiting surfaces. Display packages include a packaging including a cavity for holding an item, and a trap seal card including a first opening. The trap seal card retains the packaging such that the item held within the cavity is visible to a consumer through the first opening, and a portion of the packaging protrudes through the first opening. The trap seal card includes a front panel integral with a back panel. The packaging is between the front panel and the back panel. Blanks for the trap seal card include the back panel or the front panel having a first length and a second length less than the first length. The first and second lengths extend in a perpendicular direction to a first fold line. Blanks for the display box include a tab detachable from a remaining portion of the back panel when the back panel is separated along a ninth fold line.

A child-resistant blister package. The package has a top face, a bottom face, and a periphery. The package also has a protection layer with a top face, a bottom face and a periphery; a blister layer with one or more cavities; and an access layer with a top face, a bottom face, and a periphery. The bottom face of the access layer has a line of weakness that allows the unit dose to be removed from the cavity in one-step by applying a force to the top of the cavity and pressing the unit dose through the line of weakness. The bottom face of the protection layer and the top face of the access layer are permanently joined along substantially the entire periphery of the package. The blister package can also contain a tear resistant layer.

A packaged oral care implement and a package having an easy-open feature. In one embodiment, the invention utilizes a protuberance that acts as a fulcrum to force an edge of a tear-away portion to protrude from a surface of the package in response to a force being applied to a force-application area of the tear-away portion.
