Venetian blind
A Venetian blind includes two string reels, two spring reels, a leaf spring and a wheel set. The string reels are engaged with each other. The spring reels engaged with each other. The leaf spring includes two sections respectively wound on the spring reels so that one of the sections of the leaf spring gets longer and the remaining one of the sections of the leaf spring gets shorter when the spring reels are rotated. The wheel set connects one of the string reels to one of the spring reels. None of the spring reels is engaged with any of the string reels without the wheel set.
SELF-RETRACTING REEL
A retractable reel system includes a reel, a gear assembly, a paddle wheel and a spring. The reel includes a concentric wheel shaft where the reel and wheel shaft rotate to wind and unwind a length of material from the reel. The gear assembly engages with an end of the wheel shaft to provide a gear reduction ratio between the wheel shaft and an output shaft of the gear assembly. The paddle wheel is connected to and concentric with the output shaft, and the paddle wheel includes a paddle that extends beyond an outer edge of the paddle wheel that rotates with the paddle wheel. The spring is arranged outside the outer edge of the paddle wheel. The spring is compressed by the paddle to store an energy when the reel is rotated to unwind the length of material from the reel. The stored energy is used to rotate the reel to wind the length of material around the reel.
Window shutter actuation device
A window shutter actuation device includes a cord for driving window shutter slats to move, a retracting mechanism for winding an end of the cord away from the window shutter slats, a brake mechanism arranged between the retracting mechanism and the window shutter slats for controlling a retracting or releasing speed of the cord, and a power mechanism for driving the retracting mechanism to rotate to wind the cord. The retracting mechanism includes a frame, a reel rotatably mounted to the frame for winding the cord, and a wheel arranged outside and adjacent to an end of the reel. The end of the cord wound on the reel passes about the wheel and then extends to the brake mechanism after extending from the reel.
Retractor restraint system and related methods, such as for securing wheelchairs in vehicles
A retractor restraint system is provided for securing wheelchairs and/or people in vehicles. The system includes a housing, a retractor reel mounted to the housing rotatably in a positive and a negative direction of rotation for receiving a belt which can be coupled to a wheelchair, an arresting unit for arresting the reel to prevent rotation in the negative direction of rotation in an operating state of the retractor restraint system, a clamping unit arranged at the housing for releasably clamping fast the belt unwound from the reel, and a triggering mechanism for actuation of the clamping unit. The triggering mechanism is coupled to the arresting unit and the reel in such a way that the clamping unit is actuated when a torque acts on the reel in the negative direction of rotation and the reel is arrested by the arresting unit.
SPOOL AND LACING MODULE PROVIDED WITH SAME
A spool includes a shaft, a trunk portion, and an upper lid portion. The shaft rotates around a central axis extending vertically. The trunk portion has a lower portion connected with the shaft, a radially outer surface wound with a string material, and an upper surface having a groove portion disposed with the string material. The upper lid portion is disposed on the upper surface of the trunk portion. One of the trunk portion and the upper lid portion has an engagement protrusion portion protruding in an axial direction, and the other has a first recess portion which is recessed in the axial direction and engaged axially with the engagement protrusion portion disposed inside. The upper lid portion covers at least a part of the groove portion.
End effector device, robotic hand device, and robotic device
An end effector device includes a housing, a cable, and a winding mechanism. The cable includes at least one of lines that include a power supply line and a signal line. The winding mechanism is located inside the housing and configured to wind the cable. The winding mechanism includes a case, a reel, and a spiral spring. The reel is supported in the case and allowed to rotate and wind the cable. The spiral spring urges the reel in a retrieval direction of the cable pulled out of the reel.
Self-Retracting Device and Axle Therefor
A self-retracting device includes a housing assembly having a first housing cover removably connectable to a second housing cover. The self-retracting device further includes a rotatable hub received within an interior of the housing assembly and having a line associated therewith, and retraction member received within an interior of the housing assembly between the rotatable hub and the first housing cover. The self-retracting device further includes an axle having a first end fixedly but removably connected to the first housing cover, a body extending through the retraction member and the rotatable hub, and a second end in engagement with at least a portion of the rotatable hub.
Canine self exercise device
A self-exercise device that provides resistance to tugging, and is operable to intermittently change the resistance so as to mimic an actual tug-of-war game. The device includes ball gallery and ratchet structures that cooperate to provide additional intermittent resistance to provide action to the device that mimics an actual tug-of-war experience wherein the opposing resistance is randomly changing.
Flat cable winding device and method of assembling same
A flat cable winding device includes: a base plate in which a central shaft for holding one end side of the flat cable is erected on the center of the upper surface; a rotation table disposed on an upper surface of the base plate and rotatably supported around the central shaft; a spiral spring for rotationally energizing the rotation table in the winding direction of the flat cable since the energizing member is interposed between the base plate and the rotation table; and a tubular wall body mounted on the base plate while the spiral spring and the rotation table are accommodated therein, wherein a rib is formed on an inner periphery wall surface of the tubular wall body for preventing the rotation table from popping out of the base plate.
