MULTI-FLUID SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT APPLICATION
A method of spraying multiple fluids from an agricultural machine includes supplying a first working fluid from a first source to a first spray nozzle, and supplying a second working fluid from a second source to the first spray nozzle. The method also includes operating at least one valve in the first spray nozzle to control flow of the first working fluid from the first source to one or more outlets of the first spray nozzle, and operating the at least one valve in the first spray nozzle to control flow of the second working fluid from the second source to the one or more outlets of the first spray nozzle. The method further includes selectively spraying the first working fluid through the one or more outlets of the first spray nozzle, and selectively spraying the second working fluid through the one or more outlets of the first spray nozzle.

An agricultural spreader includes at least one delivery conduit that carries material to be spread from a bin to an exit end of the delivery conduit under the influence of air blown through the delivery conduit by a fan. A deflector is mounted proximate the exit end of the delivery pipe and deflects the material onto agricultural field in a dispersal area. A radio frequency (RF) transmitter is disposed to generate an RF signal that passes through the dispersal area. The RF signal is detectably changed when interacting with the material passing through the dispersal area. An RF receiver is disposed to receive the RF signal after the RF signal passes through the dispersal area and provides an output indicative of the RF signal. A controller is coupled to RF receiver and detects plugging of the delivery conduit based on the output of the RF receiver.
Improved Method and Device for Distributing a Particulate Material
The present invention relates to a method for distributing particulate material in a target area. The method comprises the steps of (i) providing in a reservoir particulate material comprising particles to be distributed in a target area, which reservoir is provided with exits, (ii) providing a gas displacer, (iii) generating with the gas displacer a forced gas flow in the blow direction, and iv) directing the particles from the exits in the forced gas flow. The invention further relates to a device for performing the method according to the invention. Further aspects of the invention relate to the use of the device for distributing particulate material, a gas flow modification device, the use of such modification device for modifying the gas flow in a device for distributing particulate material and a kit of parts comprising (a) the gas flow modification device and (b) a device for distributing particulate material.

The biological control of agricultural pests is growing rapidly due to the increasing trend towards healthier foodstuffs. The present invention is a response to this and aims to enhance productivity and optimize the entire biological control chain, from operations related to breeding, production, handling, and storage of organisms, as well as transportation, release, and field application. This reduces costs and increases efficiency in the sustainable management of pests, optimizing the quality and viability of biological crop protection products, which include but are not limited to chemical powders, minerals, microbiological agents, insects in the form of eggs, pupae and adults, earthworms, animal feed, seeds, or fruits. These products require specific climatic conditions, and their physical integrity must be maintained, minimizing stress and damage from production to release into the environment. To improve the operation of this system, the concept of using cartridges and refills has been developed.

A fine particle diffusion device includes: a first outlet (10a to 10c) through which a first air current is discharged to a space above a living space within a living room; a second outlet (10d) which is arranged below the first outlet (10a to 10c) and through which a second air current is discharged to a space below the first air current; and a fine particle generation device (17) which generates fine particles. Here, the fine particles generated by the fine particle generation device (17) are discharged into the living room, and the concentration of the fine particles discharged through the first outlet (10a to 10c) is lower than the concentration of the fine particles discharged through the second outlet (10d).
