Multilayered Thermally-insulating Garment with Ventilating Inserts
A multilayered thermally-insulating garment with ventilating inserts uses a thermally-insulative unitard, multiple venting inserts, and a chest opening to encourage perspiration of a user while exercising. The thermally-insulative unitard is a garment that is designed to be worn by a user and to promote perspiration. To accomplish this, the thermally-insulative unitard makes use of a multilayered construction that includes an interior layer, an intermediate layer, and an exterior layer. This construction enables the thermally-insulative unitard to trap the user's body heat, prevent sweat penetration, and remain flexible. The venting inserts are sections of a flexible and air-permeable material that are integrated into various portions of the thermally-insulative unitard. These sections are worn over the user's armpits, crotch, and buttock to enable air to flow past these portions of the user's body; thus, preventing odors. The chest opening is a cutout that exposes the user's chest through the thermally-insulative unitard.
Method and apparatus for improved helmet
Method and apparatus for improved helmet having an outer shell with a face mask disposed thereon along with an inner shell so that the outer shell floats without the inner and outer shells separating while maintaining an air gap between the inner shell and the head of a user which prevents direct contact between the helmet and the head or neck of a user. An outer collar closely surrounds the sides and back of the outer shell and is attached to the shoulder pads preventing direct impact to the rear of the outer shell and also much of the area behind the ear of a user. Gel pads are placed between the two helmet shells and the top of the helmet collar and between the shoulder, chest and back pads and the body of the user. A head and neck restraint and third-party neck brace are also shown.
Wearable airbag device
A wearable airbag device having at least one inflatable bag including a first side and a second side defining a gas inflatable volume therebetween. The at least one inflatable bag includes a plurality of airflow passages defined between said first side and second side.
Protective structure for protective garments and equipment
A protective structure for protective garments and equipment is disclosed having a flat curved plate like object which includes a mesh structure having a multitude of holes. The holes in the mesh structure or parts of the holes in the mesh structure have rim structures extending towards a user of the protective structure when the protective structure is in use. Between the rim structures are channels. The channels improve air circulation beneath the protective structure and the rim structures enhances the impact spreading and elasticity of the protective structure. A continuous border frame surrounds the mesh structure. The protective structure has a first surface and a second surface, and the second surface is oriented towards the user when the protective structure is in use.
PROTECTION PAD
A body protection pad is described, and the body protection pad includes a plurality of main parts each including a vent formed in the front and rear direction and a circumference surrounding the vent; and groove part parts concavely formed from the front to the rear between the plurality of main parts.
BREATHABLE IMPACT ABSORBING CUSHIONING AND CONSTRUCTIONS
Disclosed herein are breathable and conformable protection pads, which can be integrated into articles such as clothing and protective cases.
VENTED SHIN GUARD
A compliant shin guard includes an outer shell composed of an impact absorbing material and an inner padding mounted to the inner surface of the outer shell. A plurality of vents extend through the outer shell and the inner padding, the plurality of vents being distributed across the outer surface of the outer shell. A raised channel extends at least partially along the length of the outer shell to provide rigidity to the outer shell.
Breathable impact absorbing cushioning and constructions
Disclosed herein, in one embodiment, is a breathable cushioning pad. The cushioning pad includes an upper layer surface, a lower layer with a lower surface, and a cushioning material disposed between the upper layer and the lo cushioning pad has a thickness. A channel can be disposed in the cushioning pad and defines a cushioning region The channel includes a thickness less than the thickness of the cushioning region. At least one vent extends through connection with the upper surface and the lower surface.
Headband with impact protection
A protective clothing device having an article of clothing having an inner layer and/or an outer layer is disclosed. The protective clothing device may have thin force absorbing members coupled to the inner layer or outer layer of the article of clothing. The force absorbing members can have overlapping or interlaced portions for enhanced protection even when the protective clothing device expands. In one embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a protective hat. In another embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a headband.
Conformal protective head wear
A protective clothing device having an article of clothing having an inner layer and/or an outer layer is disclosed. The protective clothing device may have thin force absorbing members coupled to the inner layer or outer layer of the article of clothing. The force absorbing members can have overlapping or interlaced portions for enhanced protection even when the protective clothing device expands. In one embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a protective hat. In another embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a headband.
