Hand held flaring tool
A flaring tool is provided for flaring an end of a pipe or tube. The tool includes a locking mechanism having a collar and a collet with two or more collet pieces that engage the collar prior to and during a flaring operation. The collet can receive a pipe or tube when the collet is in an expanded or open position. The collet pieces have external flanges for engaging the collar during clamping and unclamping of the tube, each flange having first and second flange portions that sequentially engage an inner surface of the collar, the first flange portion guiding insertion of the collet into the collar and the second flange portion causing the collet pieces to clamp onto the tube. A flaring mechanism moves a flaring mandrel towards the end of the tube when the collet is clamped, whereby the mandrel engages and flares the end of the tube.
Tool holder and method for producing a tool receiving portion for such a tool holder
A tool holder with a main part, a deformable receiving portion for clamping a tool, and at least one blocking element which is designed to engage into a corresponding counter element on the tool in order to prevent the tool from moving axially out of the tool holder. The at least one blocking element is integrally formed with the receiving portion. A clamping system having such a tool holder and a method for producing a receiving portion for such a tool holder are also described.
Holding Device
Some embodiments of a device comprise a collet, a holder that has a proximal end that is configured to hold the collet and a distal end that has a cavity, and a holder sleeve at the proximal end of the holder. Also, the holder sleeve is configured to increase a grip of the collet, the collet and the holder define an opening that is configured to receive a pin, the opening extends from the cavity through a center of the holder and a center of the collet along a longitudinal axis of the collet and a longitudinal axis of the holder, and the cavity of the holder is wider than the opening.
Collet Chuck
The invention relates to a collet chuck (1) for clamping a preferably cylindrical tool shank with a chuck body (2) of a collet (3) and an union nut (4), which are matched in such a way that the collet (3) can be driven into the chuck body (2) by tightening the union nut (4) such that it secures the tool shank in the collet chuck (1) ready for operation, wherein the collet (3) and the union nut (4) are permanently connected to one another and at the same time connected in a rotatable manner relative to one another.
Adjustable Chuck Apparatus for Screw Tap
An adjustable chuck apparatus is provided with a torque limiting device; a torque transmitting mechanism; a chuck; a threaded fastener; a pin; a first positioning member including a threaded tunnel; a second positioning member including a threaded tunnel; a barbell shaped interconnection member including a first externally threaded section at one end and threadedly fastened in the threaded tunnel of the first positioning member, a second externally threaded section at the other end and threadedly fastened in the threaded tunnel of the second positioning member, a bar interconnected to the first externally threaded section and the second externally threaded section, and a hole element through the second externally threaded section; a truncated conic collet; and a cap. Each of different screw taps can be fastened by the apparatus by rotating a hand tool to adjust a distance between the first positioning member and the second positioning member.
Pre-stressing damping system
A tool holder having a tool receptacle for chucking a tool shaft by frictional engagement, in which the tool receptacle comprises a plurality of annular clamping surfaces spaced apart from one another, which are intended for retaining the tool shaft by nonpositive engagement and are embodied on the inner circumference of a tube part, and the tube part has a recess in the material for varying its clamping action; the recess in the material is embodied by a plurality of annular channels extending in the circumferential direction, which are each separated from the tool receptacle by a resilient wall portion, which on its side facing away from the channel embodies the respective clamping surface.
Clamping system and base, collet chuck and rotary tool therefor and method for mounting the rotary tool in the clamping system
The invention provides a clamping system (1) for a rotary tool (70), for example a milling cutter or drill. The clamping system (1) includes a base element (10), a collet (30) and a clamping nut (50), said clamping nut (50) friction-locking the rotary tool (70) within the base element (10) with the collet (30). In order to avoid a relative rotation of the base element (10) and the collet (30), the clamping system (1) has a form locking anti-twist protection which blocks a rotation of the collet (30) relative to the base element (10).
Inverted piloted collet chuck and applications thereof
Collet chucks are described herein having design and architecture for minimizing and/or mitigating collet misalignment during rotary tool coupling operations. For example, a collet chuck comprises a housing for connection and rotation with a spindle about an axis of rotation, wherein the housing defines a socket for receiving a collet. The collet comprises a nose end engaging the socket and a second tapered end engaging a locknut assembly.
Adjustable vibration absorption cutter holder
A cutter holder has a body and a buffering assembly. The body has a specific weight. The buffering assembly is mounted in the body and has a buffering unit and an elastic unit set. The buffering unit has a specific weight that is larger than the specific weight of the body. The buffering unit and the elastic unit set are utilized for absorbing vibration. The elastic unit set has multiple Belleville washers and can be changed in scales or amounts according to practical machining conditions.
