Wrench
The present invention provides a wrench, and its structure includes a guide rod, a first pawl mounted on the guide rod, a sliding member sheathed on the guide rod, a second pawl mounted on the sliding member and matching with the first pawl, and a toothed block disposed on the sliding member and matching with the guide rod. The toothed block has a first position and a second position. When the toothed block is in the first position, the toothed block is slidable along the guide rod toward the first pawl, and is locked in the direction away from the first pawl. When the toothed block is in the second position, the toothed block is slidable along the guide rod toward or away from the first pawl.
Illuminated pipe wrench tool assembly
A lighted pipe wrench assembly having a first wrench member and a second wrench member cooperatively joined. The first wrench member includes a head portion having a first jaw section and an interface section, and further includes an elongate neck portion having a longitudinal axis. A receiving channel extends laterally therethrough the interface section. A communication channel extends radially from the receiving channel to an end port which terminates at the work surface. A primary illumination device formed for removable, axial sliding receipt in the receiving channel of such that an output portion is aligned with the communication channel. A first end cap cooperate to securely abut and seat the illumination device therebetween, and secure to the coupling portion.
Pipe fitting tool
A pipe fitting tool configured to loosen a first section of pipe with respect to a second section of pipe. The pipe fitting tool includes a motor, a reciprocating member that reciprocates in response to activation of the motor, a holdback assembly configured to clamp and hold the second section of pipe, and a loosening mechanism configured to clamp and rotate the first section of pipe with respect to the second section of pipe in response to a first linear motion of the reciprocating member, and to release the first section of pipe in response to a second linear motion of the reciprocating member, the second linear motion being in a direction opposite the first linear motion.
Extension Element for Improved Use of An Adjustable Wrench
This disclosure is related to an adjustable wrench for engaging work objects. The adjustable wrench has a handle having a handle end and a flat serrated jaw surface. The adjustable wrench also has an L-shaped movable jaw having a lever arm and a serrated jaw, the lever arm having a terminal end and an extension element extending from the terminal end having an opening therethrough. The adjustable wrench further comprises a projection extending from the handle having a tunnel therein for accepting the lever arm of the L-shaped movable jaw and a grip enhancing apparatus.
Flange tightening tool
Flanges become stuck upon large pipes. This invention is a flange tightening tool in combination with a wrench, or other handled tool, having a fixed jaw integral with a handle and a movable jaw. The invention provides pins connected to each of the fixed jaw and the movable jaw. The pins extend mutually parallel and from the same side of both jaws. The pins generally have a round cylindrical shape with a diameter compatible to a flange aperture. The pins have a connection to the wrench utilizing a threaded tip that engages a cooperating threaded hole in each jaw. The pins are provided in various diameters, often in kit form. One pin may be longer than the other pins and both pins have left hand threading.
Removal tool kit and removal tool therefor
A removal tool is provided. The removal tool includes a wrench apparatus having a body having a handle, wherein a portion of the body is structured to engage a securing member. The removal tool also includes a locking tool assembly and a transfer assembly. The locking tool assembly has a first jaw, a second jaw coupled to the first jaw, and a handle extending from the first jaw, the first and second jaws being structured to engage a conduit. The conduit is coupled to the securing member. The transfer assembly is coupled to the handles of the wrench apparatus and the locking tool assembly in order to transfer a force therebetween, thereby allowing the securing member to be removed from the conduit.
Quick Adjust Wrench
Improvements in a pipe wrench that used a quick adjustment mechanism to secure and release the position of the moving jaw. With the quick adjust wrench the operator can release the locking teeth, slide the adjustable jaw, and release the locking teeth to lock the position of the moving jaw. The locking teeth move in a linear position towards or away from the moving jaw post. The operator can pull the locking mechanism, push the locking mechanism, or pinch the locking mechanism to lift the teeth out of engagement. The wrench uses magnetic forces to ensure that the teeth are engaged when the slider is released. The use of a magnet ensures that the movable jaw is normally locked in position unless an operator is physically displacing the locking mechanism.
QUICK ADJUST KNOB FOR TRADITIONAL PIPE WRENCH
A pipe wrench includes the quick adjust knob, a handle, a first jaw carried on the handle, and a hook-shaped movable member mounted on the handle to translate relative to the handle and the first jaw. The quick adjust knob includes a housing, a pair of floating threads, and a pair of actuating buttons configured to actuate the floating threads out of engagement with mating threads on the moveable member to allow the movable member to be quickly adjusted relative to the handle.
Extendable wrench
A pipe wrench is provided with an extendable handle that fits within a cavity of the head. A lever locks the extended length of the extendable handle along a continuous spectrum between a maximum and a minimum extension of the handle. The lever includes cam surfaces. In an unlocked position, the thickness of the lever between the pivot and a friction plate is less than the thickness between the pivot and the friction plate in the locked position. The friction plate is a composite comprising a top lever plate, a midsection, and a concave surface. The lever plate and concave surface include hard, durable materials, and the midsection is a soft elastic material that redistributes frictional forces across the frictional block. The channel-lock prevents inadvertent overextension and/or accidental removal of the extendable handle.
