Method of making interlocking joint for pile encapsulation jackets
Embodiments provide a method for forming a groove on a pile encapsulation jacket to form an interlocking joint on the pile encapsulation jacket. A spacer may be used to form the groove. First, a pile jacket laminate is formed on a mandrel surface. The pile jacket laminate may be partially cured to have a solid but sticky surface. The spacer may be placed on the pile jacket laminate. An additional layer of laminate may be formed on at least a portion of the pile jacket laminate and at least a portion of the spacer. The entire structure may be cured and the spacer may be removed. A groove is formed between the pile jacket laminate and the additional layer of laminate at a space previously occupied by the spacer. The groove has the same width as the portion of the spacer that was covered with the additional layer of laminate.

The abutting surfaces 34, 35a, and 35b includes projections 36, 37a, and 37b formed thereon, respectively, and extending in a straight or curved line. The abutting surfaces 34, 35a, and 35b and the abutted surfaces 12a, 22a, and the other abutted surface are respectively welded to each other by laser beams 40 and 41 respectively directed onto and moved along the projection 36 and the projections 37a and 37b.
Connecting shaft and manufacturing method of connecting shaft
A connecting shaft including a first shaft made of metal, a second shaft made of resin, and a collar made of metal including a first fitting portion fitting on an outer peripheral surface of the first shaft and a second fitting portion fitting on an outer peripheral surface of the second shaft. A gap between the outer peripheral surface of the second shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the second fitting portion is filled with an adhesive agent, and the adhesive agent is applied to an outer peripheral surface of the collar to cover an end face of the second fitting portion in an axial direction.
NOZZLE FOR CLEANING SUBSTRATE
The present invention relates to a nozzle for cleaning a substrate capable of spraying deionized water for cleaning a substrate to the substrate, the nozzle including a first body made of a resin material and provided with a first part of a deionized water passage and a deionized water supply hole to supply the deionized water, a second body made of a resin material and provided with a second part of the deionized water passage and a plurality of spray holes to spray the deionized water to the substrate, a fusible protrusion provided in the first body or the second body along the deionized water passage and configured such that a part thereof is fused during ultrasonic welding, so as to couple the first body and the second body together, and a fusible protrusion accommodating part formed in the first body or the second body to accommodate the fusible protrusion.
HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The hollow fiber membrane module according to the present application is provided with a cylindrical container open at one end and the other end, a bundle of hollow fiber membranes packed in the cylindrical container, potting parts embedding and fixing the bundle of hollow fiber membranes at both ends of the cylindrical container, and headers provided at both ends of the cylindrical container and having nozzles that constitute an inlet and outlet for a fluid. In this hollow fiber membrane module, the headers and the cylindrical container are welded in at least two areas including a primary weld and a secondary weld, and the secondary weld is located in a position where welding is initiated after or simultaneously with the beginning of welding of the primary weld.
Methods and assemblies for welding a gasket to a pipe section
A method of welding a gasket to a spigot portion of a pipe section is described. The method includes supporting the gasket in a recess on the spigot portion of the pipe section. The gasket includes a seating portion and a sealing portion. The sealing portion includes a first shoulder portion and a second shoulder portion. A first bonding portion extends from the first shoulder portion and a second bonding portion extends from the second shoulder portion. The first bonding portion and the second bonding portion are provided to bond the gasket to the spigot portion. The method further includes heating a portion of the gasket and an adjacent surface of the spigot portion and applying a force onto the portion of the gasket following the application of heat to fuse the gasket onto the spigot portion.
