A sports glove for being worn by a hand may include a backhand panel and a palm panel joined to the backhand panel to form a palm cavity therebetween. The palm cavity extends from a base portion to a knuckle portion. The sports glove may further include finger stalls extending from the palm cavity, the finger stalls comprising an index finger stall and a thumb stall extending from the palm cavity. The sports glove may further include a slit within the backhand panel, the slit distally extending from the base portion to a terminus between an index metacarpal and a thumb metacarpal of the hand received within the glove. The sports glove may further or alternatively include a wrist strap containing a protective insert that extends in an arc about an ulna side of a forearm.

Embodiments provide a hand covering, such as a glove or mitten, with a retainer for holding the hand covering in a retaining configuration when not being worn covering the hand of a user. The hand covering may include a central hand portion, a finger receiving portion extending from the central hand portion, and a strap. The hand covering may extend generally in a longitudinal direction from a proximal side at the central hand portion to a distal side at the finger receiving portion. The central hand portion may define at the proximal side a cavity configured to receive a hand. The strap may be attached to an inside face of the central hand portion and extend generally lateral to the longitudinal direction. The strap may be separable from the inside face in between a first attached end and a second attached end to define a passageway configured to receive a hand.

A glove having three receiving tubes for a thumb, an index finger and a middle finger of a hand, which tubes are joined together and are combined together with a region adjacent to the edge of the thumb on the hand to form a wrist cuff so that a cut-out remains which exposes a ring finger, a little finger, an edge of the hand and the adjacent regions of the palm and the back of the hand, which cut-out is seamed at least in sections in a stabilising manner.

A work glove leveling apparatus for leveling items without holding a separate level includes a glove body having a bottom opening, a palm portion, a plurality of finger portions, a glove top side, and a glove bottom side. A level mount is coupled to the glove body. The level mount is coupled to the glove top side on the palm portion of the glove body and the level mount is rigid. Embodiments of the present invention provide a solution by providing a novel boxing glove that is compatible with lifting weights while wearing the gloves. An elastic band for attachment over the juncture of a surgical glove and sleeve of a surgical gown is disclosed. The elastic band has an abrasive inner surface in contact with the juncture to limit movement of the band relative to the juncture. A circumferential portion of the inner surface is concave. The hand may be of variable circumferences to fit the user, adjusting to the size of the user's wrist.

A training glove, and methods of using the same are provided. The training glove includes a glove portion, wherein the glove portion includes a first protective portion disposed to cover at least a portion of the posterior of a user's hand when worn by the user. The training glove further includes a blocker portion, wherein the blocker portion is secured to the glove portion and includes a second protective portion disposed to cover a portion of a user's anterior forearm when worn by the user. The strap is fastened at one end to the tactical glove (1) and has a mechanical closure (6) that is moved onto a corresponding mechanical closure (7) by a closing movement of the strap (5) in order to constrict the sheath (4), via which a mechanical closure is formed. On the sheath (4) a zipper (8) is provided, the slider (9) of which is joined to the strap (5) by a coupling such that when a closing movement of the strap (5) is performed, the zipper (8) closes. The strap (5) forms a wrist support.
