Medical/Dental/Utility Glove with Anti-Fatigue and Air Channel Improvements
The present invention is to an improved elastomeric glove having stress relief zones to reduce user fatigue. The glove may have stress relief areas between and over some or all of the joints, knuckles and bones of the hand, wherein the relief zones are formed of asymmetrical or symmetrical humps. Alternatively, these raised relief zone areas are formed of asymmetrical or symmetrical diamond shaped or frusto-diamond shaped zones. A relief zone can also be provided over the webbing between the thumb and the palm. A relief zone can also be provided over the soft tissue webbing between the thumb and the forefinger on the dorsal and ventral surface of the hand. The diamond/humped shaped relief zones provide for improved (consistent) glove function and quality while keeping manufacturing challenges and costs to a minimum.
Gloves
The present invention provides a glove including a coagulated film of an aqueous polyurethane composition containing anionic polyurethane (A), which has an oxyalkylene group content within a range of 4 to 12 mol/kg and a urea bond content of 0.2 mol/kg or less, and an aqueous medium (B). The anionic polyurethane (A) is preferably the reaction product of polyoxytetramethylene glycol, a glycol having a carboxyl group, ethylene glycol, and diphenylmethane diisocyanate or the reaction product of polyoxytetramethylene glycol, a glycol having a carboxyl group, butanediol, and diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The average particle diameter of the anionic polyurethane (A) is preferably within a range of 0.01 to 1 m.
Industrail Strength Kitchen Glove
A water tight rubber glove covering hand, wrist, and mid forearm with scrub pads on top side of glove four fingers. A single pad cut and shaped to cover palm side of glove, four fingers, and bottom side of thumb. Five web pads made into the four fingers a thumb. The four webs are placed at the second bend of each finger to the third bend at bottom of finger. The thumb web is placed at second bend in the thumb to the crease of the thumb.
Glove with differently textured fingertip regions
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.
Glove with contrasting cuff and tear indicator
Highly absorbant foamed lining
Provided in one embodiment is a cured absorbent composite comprising: liquid resistant layer of elastomer; and a layer affixed to the liquid resistant layer comprising an open foam of elastomer, wherein the moisture absorption capacity of the foam layer, normalized by the thickness of the absorptive layer, is 1.5 times that of Ansell's foam lined Household glove.
Medical examination gloves
The disclosed medical examination glove comprises natural or nitrile rubber latex, and a water soluble singlet oxygen generator. The glove can be manufactured by contacting a glove former with a coagulant solution comprising divalent calcium cations and carbonate particles and a water soluble singlet oxygen generator and then contacting the glove former with a natural or nitrile rubber latex dispersion.
Protective gloves with improved fingertip fitment and methods and mold-forms for manufacturing such gloves
A surgical glove mold set, comprising a plurality of surgical glove mold-forms, wherein each surgical glove mold-form of the plurality of surgical glove mold-forms includes a common palm width (PW) and different finger lengths.
Finger protector, and method of making
The subject matter relates generally to devices configured to be attached to fingers and/or the hands of persons and which may aid in the playing of musical instruments. These devices are custom made to fit the fingers of a particular musician or aspiring musician precisely and optionally include an additional feature or element at the tip which beneficially improves the ability to play. These devices also may protect the fingers from the adverse effects of prolonged playing. These devices may be used independently on each finger, or may be combined together into a glove with the finger devices attached to the rest of a custom fitting glove.
THIN ORGANIC SOLVENT RESISTANT GLOVE
A thin organic solvent resistant glove (100) is disclosed including: a first polymeric layer (202) in a shape of a glove including at least one of a blend of a polyisobutylene material and a nitrile-butadiene material, or a nitrile-butadiene material; a second polymeric layer (206) in a shape of a glove including at least one of a polyisobutylene material or a blend of a polyisobutylene material and a nitrile-butadiene material, disposed on the first polymeric layer, and a third polymeric layer (212) in a shape of a glove including a nitrile-butadiene material or an acrylic polymer material disposed on the second polymeric layer.
