Glove and production process thereof
The present invention reduces the minimum detectable volume of a piece of a glove in the detection using a metal detector. A glove made of a rubber or resin film which contains magnetic particles, wherein the quantity of the magnetic particles is 0.2 to less than 40 mass % relative to the whole of the film; and the magnetic particles comprise secondary particles formed by the agglomeration of primary particles.
Elastomeric articles having skin care properties and methods for their production
The present application provides elastomeric articles that are able to deliver skin care properties to a person wearing or coming into contact with the article. The articles comprise an elastomeric film a plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be in the form of a bilayer membrane-encapsulated plant stem cell material. The plant stem cell material may be present as a layer or coating on a surface of the elastomeric film. Also provided are methods for the production of the articles.
Glove with fingertip regions of a reduced circumference
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The fingertip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These fingertip regions may be of reduced or smaller diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger and thereby applying pressure thereto so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.
POLYMER SYSTEM COATING FOR ELASTOMERIC RUBBER GLOVES
Provided are various gloves and protective articles with improved donning characteristics. The glove comprises an interior surface, and a polymer system coating the interior surface. The polymer system comprises one or more first polymers, each including an average particle size between 100 nanometers (nm) to 400 nm. The polymer system further comprises one or more second polymers, each including an average particle size in excess of 500 nm. The one or more first polymers may comprise a combination of one or more polymers including: butadiene based polymer and copolymer latices, isoprene based polymer and copolymer latices, copolymer latices prepared from styrene and acrylic monomers, and polyurethane copolymers. The one or more second polymers may include vinyl acetate polymers. The glove may be an elastomeric rubber glove coated with the polymer system in an amount between 0.0004 grams and 0.0016 grams on a dry basis.
GLOVE WITH REDUCED CIRCUMFERENCE FINGERTIP REGIONS
An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, palm region, and at least one digit region having a fingertip region and a remaining portion. A part of a 360° perimeter of the fingertip region is reduced in length relative to the perimeter of the remaining portion of that digit region. The reduced circumference fingertip region is configured to be smaller than the tip of a user's finger or thumb when inserted into the glove. The reduction in the circumference of the fingertip region may include reducing an arcuate length of a pair of opposed sections of the fingertip region. The opposed sections may be sections of the front and rear surfaces of the digit region or opposed sections of the first side surface and second side surface of the digit region.
LOOSE-LEAF GLOVE
A loose-leaf glove is provided, including a dorsum top layer and a palm inner layer. The periphery of the dorsum top layer is combined with the periphery of the palm inner layer, and the palm inner layer is formed by plural palm inner surfaces. The peripheries of the plural palm inner surfaces are overlapped and combined. A tear line is imprinted at a place where the periphery of the dorsum top layer is combined with the periphery of the palm inner layer. Each palm inner surface can escape from the dorsum top layer by tearing the tear line apart. The separated palm inner surface is discarded, and a next palm inner surface is used instead.
A Hygienic Water-Soluble Glove
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for a water soluble hygienic glove. The glove includes a first layer, a second layer, an opening and a sealed perimeter. The opening is adapted to accommodate insertion of a user's hand into the opening and into a formed cavity. All possible shapes of gloves are considered. One embodiment has an outer perimeter designed for dispensing gloves in a role where each glove has an outer perimeter in a rectangular form and joined through a line of perforations which can be easily torn to separate a glove. The user easily inserts a hand in the glove for subsequent cleaning of the rectal area or other areas of an individual and then disposes of the used glove in a flush toilet where it readily dissolves in the presence of water. The glove is convenient and safe for conventional septic systems and/or sewage treatment facilities. The present invention further considers storage and dispensing devices. Other embodiments incorporate the use of germicidal agents and drying agents. The system is applicable in commercial restrooms or bathrooms in private homes.
3D printed impact resistant glove
A protective garment includes a base layer formed from a flexible material. A grip layer is disposed on a first side of the base layer. The grip layer has an increased coefficient of friction compared to the base layer. A protective layer is disposed on a second side of the base layer. The protective layer includes a three-dimensional matrix that has a plurality of columns that extend in a first direction and a plurality of rows stacked on the plurality of columns that extend in a second direction. The plurality of rows and the plurality of columns define a plurality of voids.
Medical/dental/utility glove with anti-fatigue and ergonomic improvement
An improved glove has both anatomically correlating stress relief zones and/or reinforced zones to add support in areas opposite the stress relief zones to keep bunching or slipping of the glove from interfering with the bending of the user's joints. The glove may have corrugated relief zones over some or all of the joints and knuckles of the hand, wherein the relief zones are formed of peaks and valleys. A relief zone can also be provided over the webbing between the thumb and the palm. The vertical or longitudinal relief zones provide for improved glove quality while keeping manufacturing difficulty and costs at a minimum.
