The projection of the cover is provided with a pressing portion facing the outer surface of the cap at a predetermined spacing distance, under a condition that the liquid consuming apparatus is in a normal state in which the cover is in the closed position and that the cap is installed in the inlet port, and the pressing portion abuts firstly against the outer surface, under a condition that the cap is moved in the insertion direction for allowing the cap to be removed from the inlet port.

The second sealing face extends radially from the flow axis, is axially opposite the first sealing face, and has an arcuate contour. The step face extends radially from the flow axis and is defined axially between the first sealing face and the second sealing face, the step face arranged for capture between a spout and a reservoir body to capture the seal member. Ink cartridge caps

An example ink tank includes a cap with a preloaded hinge that biases the cap to a fully opened position when the cap is unlatched. The cap in the fully opened position interferes with and prevents the closure of a door that provides access to the ink tank. The door includes a sensor that locks out the print function when the door is open, effecting a printer lockout when the cap of the ink tank is opened for filling.

The ink conduit member is in contact with an inner side of the ink bag and seals an opening of the ink bag to form an ink outlet. The ink bag is made of an elastic or stretchable material.

The cap at the second position or the holding member is configured to obstruct a movement of the cover from the open position to the closed position.
