The bracket includes a first portion that supports the manipulation lever, a second portion integratedly formed with the first portion and to which the seat position detector is mounted, and a slit that separates the first portion and the second portion.

The lock lever further has a first engaging part which abuts on an inner wall surface of the first through hole and a second engaging part which abuts on an inner wall surface of the second through hole. At least while the lock lever is rotated by the operation handle, the first engaging part is engaged by the first through hole, and the second engaging part is engaged by the second through hole.

The slide-lock cancellation unit includes a drive unit and an inclined surface arranged in the drive unit. The drive unit is supported by the upper rail so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail. Operation of the operation member slides the drive unit. The inclined surface pivots the lock member to a slide-lock cancellation position when sliding.

The lever has a first end and a second end adapted to engage with the seat track locking mechanism. A handle is pivotally attached to the first end of the lever at a pivot such that the handle is free to rotate in a first rotational direction relative to the lever about the pivot, and wherein the handle is prevented from rotating in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction about the pivot.

The device is made up by two rails (special and differentiated profiles), the upper rail (1) having a flat base (10) with flaps at tangent arcs (11 to 15) and the lower base (2) having tangential curved flaps (21 to 27), being fit and inserted in the inner spaces of the flaps by bearing balls (3). It further includes stops (16 and 28) of longitudinal movement and a position lock (4) activated by a bi-articulated mechanism (5) through a tubular lever (6), with vertical activation.

Provided is a vehicle seat which is attached to a floor of a vehicle via a rail device and a coupling device with a high level of stiffness so as to minimize deformation of the rail device and the coupling device without substantially increasing the weight and the manufacturing cost of the seat. The vehicle seat is provided with an upper engagement portion secured to a member on a side of an upper rail of the rail device, and a lower engagement portion secured to a member on a side of a lower rail of the rail device and including a part opposing a corresponding part of the upper engagement portion from above defining a prescribed gap therebetween. The coupling device is provided laterally spaced from the rail device, and the upper engagement portion and the lower engagement portion are provided substantially directly above the coupling device.

TRACK ADJUSTER

A track adjuster includes a first pair of tracks, a first lockset that may be configured to selectively restrict movement of the first pair of tracks, a second pair of tracks, and a second lockset configured that may be configured to selectively restrict movement of the second pair of tracks. The first lockset may be a first type of lockset and the second lockset may be a second type of lockset. The first lockset may include a positive engagement locking lockset. The second lockset may include a pawl-type lockset.

TRACK ADJUSTER

A track adjuster includes a pair of tracks, a lockset configured to selectively restrict movement of the pair of tracks, a first lever configured to actuate an actuator of the lockset, a second lever configured to actuate the first lever, and a spring configured to apply a first biasing force to the first lever in a first rotational direction and apply a second biasing force to the first lever in a second rotational direction. The spring may be a torsion spring that may be wrapped at least partially around a cross member connecting the pair of tracks with a second pair of tracks.
