VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat and method for adjusting the vehicle seat uses a hinge mechanism (18), a guide mechanism (20), and a single actuation device (22) designed to function selectively either in a backrest control mode, acting on the blocking device (28) in order to move the blocking device (28) towards the release position, or in a track (30) control mode, acting on the locking device (36) in order to move the locking device (36) towards the unlocking position. The actuation device (22) is controlled by a user to cause the actuation device to function either in backrest control mode or in track (30) control mode.
Dual-function seat actuator
Systems and methods are disclosed herein for an aircraft seat with a dual-function linear actuator. The linear actuator may activate a first adjustable feature by moving in a first direction, and the linear actuator may activate a second adjustable feature by moving in a second direction. The linear actuator may include a decoupling mechanism. The decoupling mechanism may decouple the first adjustable feature and the second adjustable feature from the linear actuator in response to loss of power to the linear actuator.
Quick Adjust Power Adjuster
A power adjuster (30) for adjusting the position of an upper track (16) relative to a lower track (18) of a seat track assembly (10). The power adjuster includes a lead screw (22) fixedly secured to the upper track, a drive assembly (32) operatively coupled to the upper track and selectively coupled to the lead screw, a driven assembly (34) operatively coupled to the lead screw and selectively coupled to the drive assembly, and a release mechanism (36) coupled to the upper track. The release mechanism is operable between a locked condition coupling the driven assembly to the drive assembly and the upper track wherein the driven assembly and the drive assembly move longitudinally along the lead screw with the upper track relative to the lower track and an unlocked condition wherein the driven assembly is decoupled from the upper track and retained along the lead screw during movement of the upper track relative to the lower track.
SEAT SLIDING DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SEAT SLIDING DEVICE
In a pair of side walls of an upper rail, a pair of right and left slits extending from lower ends of the side walls to an intermediate position are formed. Right and left side edges of at least one reinforcing plate fit into the pair of left and right slits. The upper rail includes a pair of right and left tongue pieces formed on the side walls as to be positioned higher than the slits, and the reinforcing plate includes a pair of right and left recesses formed at the upper portions of the left and right side edges and with which the pair of right and left tongue pieces are engaged. The tongue-piece enters the recess in a state where an upper end surface abuts an upper tapered surface of the recess and is bent into an S-shape in the recess and engaged with the recess.
Sliding device for a vehicle seat provided with an improved locking arrangement
A sliding device for a vehicle seat includes a pair of tracks, each having a lower rail and an upper rail, and a locking arrangement having a pair of locking assemblies, each including locking pins for locking a respective one of the upper rails to a respective one of the lower rails. The locking arrangement includes a releasing assembly for driving the locking pins of each of the locking assemblies to an unlocking configuration. The releasing assembly includes a releasing member and a pair of connecting members. The connecting members are each in a force transmission connection with the releasing member and with the locking pins of a respective one of the locking assemblies. The connecting members are entirely received within the tracks, and the releasing assembly is configured to convert rotational movement of the releasing member into linear movement of the locking pins of each of the locking assemblies.
Sliding device
A sliding device includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a lock plate, a spring member, and a first stopper and a second stopper provided on the lock plate. The lock plate is held by the movable rail, and is displaceable between a locking position where the lock plate engages with the fixed rail and a non-locking position where the engagement is released. The spring member can exert an elastic force to maintain the lock plate in the locking position. The first stopper locks and fixes a first end of the lock plate to the spring member. The second stopper locks and fixes a second end of the lock plate to the spring member.
LONG RAIL ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT ADJUSTMENT
A long rail assembly attached to a vehicle floor for repositioning vehicle seats in a vehicle between a plurality of seating positions. The long rail assembly includes a fixed long rail having an internal channel, and a power rail drive assembly configured to travel along the channel of the fixed long rail. The power rail drive assembly has a rail main body having a lateral driving wheel configured to frictionally and/or meshingly engage with the fixed rail, an electric motor operatively coupled to the lateral driving wheel, and spring-loaded stability rolling elements attached to the rail main body configured to absorb channel variation as the power rail drive assembly travels along the channel of the long rail.
Sliding device for a vehicle seat provided with an improved locking arrangement
The present invention relates to a sliding device for a vehicle seat provided with an improved locking arrangement. Said locking arrangement comprises a pair of locking assemblies (101a, 101b; 201a, 201b), one for each track of the sliding device, each including a plurality of locking pins (105a, 105b; 203a, 203b) suitable for locking the upper rails of the tracks to the respective lower rails. Said locking arrangement further includes a releasing assembly for driving said locking pins to an unlocking configuration for adjusting the position of the vehicle seat. According to the invention, for any selected positions of the vehicle seat, all the locking pins (105a, 105b; 203a, 203b) of the locking assemblies simultaneously or quasi-simultaneously penetrate into corresponding apertures of the lower rails. Therefore, the invention advantageously allows to optimize the locking effect of the locking arrangement, as all the locking pins give their contribution to said locking effect.
RELEASE BAR ASSEMBLY FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY
A bench seating assembly for a vehicle includes an outboard seating assembly disposed on a pair of outboard rails slidably coupled to a pair of outboard tracks and an inboard seating assembly disposed on an inboard rail slidably coupled to an inboard track. A release bar assembly is disposed below the outboard seating assembly and the inboard seating assembly, and includes a driver movable between a first position and a second position. A latch mechanism is operably coupled to the driver such that if the driver is in the first position, then the latch mechanism is in a locked position, and if the driver is in the second position, then the latch mechanism is in an unlocked position.
Locking apparatus of seat rail for vehicle
A locking apparatus for a seat rail for a vehicle, in which a spring is compressed and fastened when first and second parts are coupled to an upper rail, such that convenience of assembly is improved, and structures for fixing the spring are respectively provided on the first and second parts, such that the structures for fixing the spring are simplified.
