Windshield Wiper Blade
A wiper blade having a wiper strip having a wide portion and a lip, and an elongate backing element. The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.
Windshield Wiper Connector
A windshield wiper connector having a peripheral wall having at least two opposing peripheral side walls, a top surface extending from one of the two opposing peripheral side walls to the other; and a channel formed in the top surface, and extending longitudinally along the top of the connector. The connector including a groove near to the proximal end of the connector and sized to be capable of engaging a trapezoidal roller of a wiper arm. The opposing peripheral side walls having a retaining pin aperture aligned with one another and sized to be capable of accepting a retaining pin of at least one pin-type windshield wiper arm. The channel on the top of the connector sized to be capable of accepting a bayonet style wiper arm. A wiper blade assembly having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure, and a connector as described above.
Windshield wiper connector
A connector for a windshield wiper, and a wiper blade assembly including same, that accommodates multiple pin-type windshield wiper arms having varying pin lengths and locking mechanisms. The connector for connecting a windshield wiper assembly to a wiper arm may have a peripheral wall having at least two opposing peripheral side walls and a top surface extending from one of the two opposing peripheral side walls to the other. The opposing peripheral side walls may each have one or more retaining pin apertures aligned with one another and sized to be capable of slideably accepting a retaining pin of at least one pin-type and/or pin-plus-locking-arm windshield wiper arm.
WIPER BLADE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An adapter is provided to attach a non-original wiper blade assembly to a wiper arm of a vehicle which is usable with an existing sliding latch and other aesthetic and functional components of the wiper arm to maintain the original aesthetics of the wiper system while allowing installation of non-original wiper blade assemblies.
Windscreen wiper device
A windscreen wiper device (1) of the flat blade type, particularly for automobiles, includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade (2) of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove (3), in which groove at least one longitudinal strip (4) of the carrier element is disposed. A connecting device (5) is connected to the flexible material of the wiper blade by at least one pin (14), that cooperates with a recess (21) provided along an exterior edge of the longitudinal strip in order to limit any movement of the wiper blade in longitudinal direction thereof relative to the longitudinal strip at the location of the interconnection of the connecting device and the wiper blade. The connecting device has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein free ends of legs (8) of the U-shaped cross-section extend inwardly so as to form grooves for receiving longitudinal sides of the wiper blade. At least one of the legs is provided with a hole (13) for receiving the pin, with the special feature that the pin is glued to an inner wall (25) of the hole or the pin is form-locked inside the hole.
Cover equipping a connector for a motor vehicle wiper
The invention relates to a cover 20 intended to lock a shaft 2a securely to a driving arm and a connector 8 that carries a wiper 1, the cover 20 extending along a main longitudinal axis X and having at least two longitudinal flanks 25, each longitudinal flank 25 having an open slot 29 delimited at a first longitudinal end by an end wall 29e and at a second longitudinal end by an opening 29c for receiving the shaft 2a, said cover 20 being characterized in that said opening 29c is formed opposite said end wall 29e. Application to motor vehicles, in particular to the wiping of a rear window.
Windshield wiper assembly
Disclosed herein is a windshield wiper assembly that is capable of securely holding a spoiler, thereby preventing poor operation of a wiping rubber member. In the windshield wiper assembly, a base part, formed at one end of the spoiler to support the wiping rubber member, is inserted into an end cap through an outer plug.
Windscreen wiper device
The windscreen wiper device includes a longitudinally extending wiper element that is made of an elastomeric material. A carrier element, which includes at least one pre-curved longitudinal strip, operably supports the wiper element. The wiper device also includes a connector device with a first piece and with a second piece. A joint part is also provided, and the joint part is connectable with the second piece of the connector device and is configured for attachment with an oscillating wiper arm. The second piece includes a pair of prongs which extend through aligned openings in the first piece and the at least one longitudinal strip. Ends of the prongs are plastically deformed to lock the first and second pieces of the connector device with the at least one pre-curved longitudinal strip.
